Chapter 2400: To Traila
Chapter 2400: To Traila
Naila looked around and nodded.
There is indeed no trouble at all. The island is completely unfamiliar to her, but she has travelled throughout the planet many times. So, this could only be an undiscovered place. The beasts of the island are conquered and the clearing is vast enough.
She cannot ask Sam to contribute to the construction as well.
She believed her team can at least handle that part.
"I have a few blueprints. They are not that complicated, but they will definitely be a lot better than whatever you guys are used to.
I will also provide some special materials needed for constructing these houses. So, if your earth element users can manage to figure it out, they can build the village accordingly.
Sam then passed her a bunch of blueprints. These blueprints are not his direct creations. Some of them are in fact what he gained from the members of the Dusk and some of them are blueprints he obtained from the academy realm's students through the Hub.
He evaluated them and offered some corrections to make them more efficient.
He also gave her a spatial ring with the materials needed. These people have their guns anyway.
Naila assigned the work accordingly and started establishing the communication system. She didn't set up the whole thing and only established a connection with Triala.
"You called me back so soon, Naila. Did that guy figure out a solution?" Triala asked with a smile. Then she seemed to have noticed that background behind Naila is not the usual one. The trees and plants around made her confused.
"Where are you talking from?" Triala asked.
Sam intervened in the middle and said.
"The problem has been resolved. Naila's settlement has been moved from their initial location. I shifted them to a new and isolated location that has no interaction with the abomination or its lackeys.
Now, I want you to hold your end of the bargain."
Triala is stunned. She couldn't even comprehend his words.
"You relocated them? To where?"
"An isolated island. I have checked around. There is no sign of any abomination or their lackeys. The beasts here are completely normal and it is big enough. Naila and the remaining survivors of their settlement are building their village here."
Sam gave a gist.
"Survivors?"
With a sigh Sam explained the attack of the worm type abomination lackeys. When she was about to ask more questions, Sam took out the dead body of a small worm that he picked from the hole to show it to her.
"They are definitely abomination lackeys. I have checked their bodies. The attack happened too suddenly. Right after you mentioned your conditions. Anyway, I don't have much time. I need you to get started with our deal." Sam is getting impatient. It is already evening.
It has only a few hours since he came here. But he still didn't feel like he is working efficiently enough.
If not for the fact that he wanted to satisfy all the conditions, he felt like it would be much better to find a way to kill everyone around and be done with it.
Triala asked a few more questions. Sam couldn't be bothered to answer them and just told Naila to call for him after she is done. He sat on the ground and went into a meditative state. At least that is what it looked like to the others.
However, he is actually checking the presence of the bird puppets he sent.
The bird puppets are sent along with the people of Naila's settlement. These puppets are all sent to different location. When a puppet was sent like that, once it reached the destination, it triggers the space jade ring.
The ring will release some transference token that are triggered with time. The transference tokens are attached by some markers and they transported these markers to various random locations.
Even though Sam is not powerful enough to trace all the markers at the same time over the region of the whole planet, he can vaguely sense the distance between him and the bird
puppets.
As for the markers, Sam is planning to go to various locations and when he appeared there, some markers will already be present giving him some edge.
He wished he had made some portable communication tower that could amplify the communication between him and the markers on a planetary level. But a tower of that range and functionality cannot be portable.
At least, not with the current version.
Sam just added another thing to the list of things he wanted to invent.
As he was mulling over these thoughts and identifying if any of the bird puppets are destroyed or disappeared, Naila called for him.
"Are you done with your questions?" Sam asked Triala.
She nodded.
"Now, its my turn. First and foremost, I want to know all the information you have on the abominations and their lackeys. Including and particularly about the hierarchy among the abomination lackeys.
I also need you to prepare the current location and status of all the strongholds of these abomination lackeys that you are aware of.
And most important of all, I will be coming to your location to collect them. So, give me the coordinates of your location. I will reach you there in a few hours."
"You are going to use spatial travel? I cannot agree to that. The Sky abomination is a threat we must absolutely avoid."
"I will come directly. I don't need to use spatial travel and such. I have other means."
Triala hesitated. There is a reason why they don't travel around and holed up in the settlements. There are some other threats created by abominations apart from the lackeys
they let loose.
After some mulling over, she finally caved and gave him the coordinates.
Judging by the coordinates, they are in the same hemisphere. So, the timezone is not that
different.
Sam looked at Naila and said.
"Sky and Ape will be here. Since the island is completely controlled, there will be no trouble. With those two around, even if the abomination comes, they will be able to hold their own."
Sam then took out a spatial node pillar and placed it on the ground.
"Make sure no one touches this. Whoever touches this will face some serious consequences. Don't tell me later that I warned you.
This allows me to come back to the island any time I want."
Naila nodded. Sam gave her a few more instructions before he shot off on harbinger.
The distance between this place and Triala's settlement is quite long. He decided to travel at full speed to reach it as soon as possible. His goal is to reach it by midnight. It could be considered completion of his first day on this planet.
If he reaches that place by then, his progress could be considered barely satisfactory.
As for why Sam is not using other means.... He just wanted to have a good look at the state of the planet. From what Naila said, the forests are infested by the lackeys of the abominations
of various levels.
There are stronger beasts that were actually at the peak of the planet's power structure that are turned into abomination lackeys.
If they encounter those creatures, they will be in deep trouble.
And contrary to their thoughts, Sam hoped that he would meet them. After getting off the island, he used the dimensional drifter as a navigator to travel.
He went past the sea pretty quickly. Out of three abominations, he knew the Water abomination will be the hardest to deal with. Not because of the strength, but because of the
sheer numbers.
So, he let Mia do the exploration while he focuses on the remaining two abominations.
After an hour or so of the travel at the fastest speed possible, he managed to see the shores once again. When he was nearing the shores, the water abomination lackeys attacked. And unlike the Naila's settlement, there is no presence of sea beasts here that kept the abomination lackeys at bay. So, he saw that the water abomination lackeys are very close to the shore and there are some even roaming on the beach.
They tried to attack Sam, but they couldn't keep up with his speed. Once again, they are also of
the lowest level abominations.
Keeping this exact situation in mind, Sam made a slight adjustment to the harbinger.
He inserted a cartridge of extremely potent poison. When he injected his fire elemental energy, the dense poison not only loosened it also evaporated and hit the creatures like a
cloud.
The water creatures couldn't last long in that poisonous smoke and fell down one after the other. Within no time, Sam reached the shore. But he didn't slow down. He just rushedn/ô/vel/b//jn dot c//om
through the forest, even leaving a trail of destruction on his way.
After around two minutes, Sam is deep in the forest.
*SWOOSH*
Just like that, something pounced in his path trying to ambush him.
