Chapter 2399: Relocation
Chapter 2399: Relocation
Two hours later.
Sam is at the beach, constructing the space gate. It is a one way space gate. With the help of
the dimensional drifter and his connection with Sky who is on the island, Sam managed to get a pretty good estimate of the island's coordinates.
So, a one way space gate would be fine to transport them there.
While he was doing that, his beasts are keeping watch to ensure, neither the water abomination's lackeys nor the land abomination's lackeys will cause them any trouble.
His worries were unnecessary.
But it didn't hurt him that much to keep an eye out. Soon, Sam finished the space gate. However, it is unlike the regular space gate that he had created. Instead of a single large place where the people and things that need to be transported should stand, there are multiple places.
Six to be exact.
Sam took out some bird puppets and placed them in five of those places. He also attached a space jade to each of the bird puppets. After arranging everything, he called for Naila and other settlers.
The one empty place is enough to house around fifty people. The space is gate is that large. Sam even have to put up additional energy sources to ensure the formation can function without any hitch.
It would take six to seven attempts to send them all way safely. And that would be enough. "First, send someone trustworthy. A couple of competent leaders that could work well and organize the group. Along with that, send the weakest of the bunch."
Naila nodded and selected the people.
Sam activated the space gate.
Along with the people, the bird puppets in the remaining spaces also disappeared.
The fifty people entered a spot in the island. They are in the middle of the woods and they couldn't see anything other than the trees around them.
"All of you stay together. Don't wander off."
The leaders immediately gathered everyone and made them stand to the side. They knew there are more people coming and they cannot stand in the same spot.
They are extremely vigilant with their weapons drawn. However, there is no threat in their sight. But there is this nagging feeling that is gnawing at them.
And that's because someone is indeed looking at them as they arrived there. Sky, who is perched on top of a cliff far away is keeping an eye on them. Behind him is a large hoard of beasts of various kinds. Both land and air borne beasts.
They are its new forces, part of its conquest.
He conquered most of the island by now since Sam left and there are only a few areas left. Luckily, the place that Sam locked into is a place within the conquered area. It makes sense since he locked on to Sky's location.
It is not too far off. Just a couple of miles.
Sky has gathered these beasts just in case these people mistakenly fall in the territory of other remaining unconquered beasts and get killed. He prepared these beasts to move in such a scenario and defend them as per Sam's instructions.
While things are like this, at the same time, on a completely different side of the planet. On top of a large mountain, within a cave. A humanoid figure could be seen observing a formation. Except for that silhouette, there is nothing human about this guy.
He had wings on his back and his whole body is covered with feathers. His face is distorted, he almost looked like a human wearing a really well made, realistic looking eagle costume. He is the sky abomination.
And right now, he is observing a formation that gives him access to the spatial transfers that happen across the planet. A grey dot and a red dot are blinking on the formation indicating the location where the spatial fluctuations are highest. He is now sensing the spatial fluctuations of the transference that Sam just did.
*CAW* *CAWR*
He is crowing in happiness as he tried to channel his energy to connect with the formation to get an accurate location. However, right when he was about to do it, he sensed another dot blinking on the formation.
A grey dot is soon followed by another red dot. He frowned in confusion while scratched his beak. But before he could figure out what is happening, from the second red dot, a cluster of grey dots emerged and creating an equal amount of red dots at various spots.
And that is just the beginning. Several red dots and grey dots appeared and each red dot is creating several grey dots. Before he knew it, the formation is indicating that the whole planet is currently undergoing the spatial transference.
With a sigh of frustration, he tried to connect with the formation. The moment he did...
*SWOOSH*
The information of hundreds of coordinates at the same time entered his head, but to his dismay nothing registered. Blood trickled down his nose as he hurriedly cut the connection between him and the formation.
He didn't even understand what is happening.
Back at the seashore, Sam is sending one batch after another and with each batch, a bunch of bird puppets are also sent.
Naila is clenching her fists in anticipation. She is anxious, at the possibility that the Sky abomination might attack them. Sam is also looking into the sky spreading his spatial energy around. Trying to see if that abomination will come for him.
He would more than welcome it.
That will make things a lot easier.
Naila relaxed and Sam felt a bit disappointed when the last batch of people are sent away but there is no movement from Sky abomination.
"How did you do this? This is the only time when the Sky Monarch didn't manage to mess with the spatial transference."
"It is a simple trick. As I said, you have seen him do something for one transference. When they are in hundreds, he couldn't do shit. I guess he is not that efficie
||
Sam paused for a bit and said.
"You leave, I will come look for you in a couple of minutes."
Sam sent Naila through the formation and then went on to modify the formation a bit. With a wave of his hand, he made his beasts retreat into the divine dimension.
"Mia"
The sea parted and one of Mia's heads came out of the water.
"Lead these sea beasts back to the island. Sky is almost done with conquering it. There are only a couple of stubborn ones. But the strongest is only at the late stage of Divine plane initiation. So, we can handle them.
The shores will be ready for them by the time you come there.
On your way, I want you to investigate the seas. I am sure you have killed a lot of those lackeys. I want you to find out if there is any gathering location of sorts for them and if you can sense any powerful presence that has a similar aura.
If you can kill them, then do it. But make sure you keep me posted.
I am sure, the Seas will be the largest obstacle and from what I can guess all kinds of sea creatures can be turned into abomination lackeys. So, you will have plenty to kill.
Your initial mission is to create a path between this place and the island and ensure there is no
trace of a lackey in the midst."
Mia nodded and dove back into the water.
The Sea beasts that were acting as the front line guardians of the shore finally moved and
went deeper into the sea.
They witnessed how potent Mia's poison is against these abomination lackeys. So, they
believed they had a fighting chance and it only reinforced further when they saw how many dead bodies of the lackeys are there in the surrounding seas.
They just left. Sam thought for a moment and took out a inscription pillar. There are already some premade inscriptions on it. Sam started making more with different liquid energy capsules embedded into it.
He placed the pillar near the space gate before taking out his dimensional drifter and leaving
to the island.
Three minutes after he left, the pillar activated on its own. Spatial energy emitted from it. Along with that, the pillar resonated with vitality, creating several zones of high dense vitality around the shore and the surrounding forest.
Back in the island.
Sam arrived and saw that all the humans are currently standing while some of the group with
earth element and wood element are making a clearing and are constructing some makeshift
houses for the weaker ones to stay.
"Don't bother. I have already made arrangements."
Sam disrupted their actions. While they appeared confused, he yelled out loud.
"Sky"n/ô/vel/b//in dot c//om
But Sky is not the one that responded to his calls. Instead two tiger type beasts came into the
forest and pointed in a direction.
"Follow them."
The tigers led the humans to a plain area. There are barely any trees there. The river is nearby
and there is even a mountain not too far off. The whole clearing is big enough to build a small
village. Which would be enough for everyone.
Sam turned to Naila and said.
"First lets establish the communication network, I need to talk to Triala. With you guys here, I am guessing your settlement is finally and actually settled with no issues."
