Chapter 62 Gap between quasi-rank 3 and low
A forest, spanning thousands of light years, lay in ashes. At its center stood a towering figure—Void. He had just finished slaughtering every living being in the area.
"System," Void commanded.
**(Ding)**
{Host: Void. Race: Primordial Demon. Rank: Quasi-Peak Rank 2. Height: 240 meters.}
{Strength: Peak. Stamina: High. Speed: Peak.}
{Blessing: Son of the Abyss.
Element: Fire +26 others. Souls: 100,000/80,000.}
"System, initiate breakthrough," Void said, a faint smile forming.
**(Ding)**
(Breakthrough in progress… Host will lose consciousness temporarily.)
"How long?" Void frowned.
(A bit longer than usual.)
"Fine. Let's find somewhere…" Void muttered as his body vanished from the forest. He'd usually retreat into a cave, but this time, he chose the ocean.
"Emerging from the sea sounds fun," Void chuckled as he dove into the water.
With a splash, his massive form sank deeper, accelerating like a torpedo. The ocean was vast, a deep blue teeming with creatures—monsters by comparison—but all tiny next to him. The creatures scattered as Void passed by, his presence overwhelming.
Minutes turned into nearly an hour, but Void continued to dive. This wasn't some shallow Earth ocean; the water here extended for miles, and the planet was as massive as a universe.
At maximum speed, Void tore through the water, creating a vast rift as he plunged toward the depths. Finally, after what felt like an eternity, he reached the ocean bed.
"This will do," he murmured, laying down on the seafloor. Darkness began to envelop him as he drifted into a deep slumber, a smile playing on his lips. His body was already evolving.

**At the Divine Plane…**
Mark watched as Marcule and Kira arrived.
"Yo," Marcule waved, walking up to Mark.
"How are you guys?" Mark asked with a smile.
"Good… but have you broken through?" Kira asked, eyeing him. The leaderboard confirmed it, but she needed to hear it from him.
"Yes, just a few days ago. It's nothing major," Mark replied, chuckling.
"Nothing major? Bro, you're quasi-rank 3 now! A powerhouse! How does it feel?" Marcule asked eagerly.
Kira rolled her eyes. "Can't you be patient?"
Mark laughed. "It's fine, Kira. Marcule, Warhead, relax. I feel powerful—more powerful than I ever imagined. The strength is… overwhelming," Mark said calmly.
"Really? But how strong exactly? I want to see," Kira added, just as curious.
"Alright, watch this," Mark raised his hand. A hundred-meter long hole opened before them.
"This is the second layer of space," Mark began, "where distances from the first layer are shortened."
He paused, letting the information sink in. "At peak Rank 2, you can perceive the world differently. It's like standing at the edge of a 4th-dimensional plane."
Marcule stared in awe, exchanging a glance with Kira, who nodded. No wonder he couldn't track her movements before—she existed on a different level.
"When I gained this strength, multiple elements fused into what I'd call a 'half-law'—not yet a full law, but the foundation of one," Mark explained. His towering figure, wolf-like and bathed in purple light, dwarfed his companions.
"So, that's the next step? Fusing elements to create a law?" Kira muttered, realizing her own path forward.
"Whoa… I haven't even mastered one element fully yet," Marcule admitted, looking flustered.
Kira and Mark exchanged amused looks. "Take it slow, you've got a long way to go," Mark teased, making Marcule frown.
"What half-law have you mastered?" Kira asked with a smile.
"Oh, I think you've heard of it… Chaos," Mark grinned as both Kira and Marcule took a step back.
"No… way…" Marcule muttered in disbelief.
"You're a monster! Chaos is as powerful as destruction, time, or space!" Kira exclaimed, stunned.
Mark shook his head. "Not quite. All laws are fundamentally equal—it's how you wield them. Chaos deconstructs things to their original form, destruction obliterates outright, and Void reduces things to nothingness."
Kira and Marcule nodded, absorbing the explanation.
"So, can we see it in action?" Kira asked, eyes alight with curiosity.
"Sure, observe." Mark extended his hand, and in the blink of an eye, a giant beast appeared from miles away, roaring in terror.
"What the… Did you just… fold space?" Marcule asked, eyes wide.
"Exactly," Mark said, smiling.
For a moment, they were speechless. Folding space meant Mark could reduce any distance to nothing, pulling anything within his perception right to him.
"Chaos…" Mark whispered, and in an instant, Kira and Marcule felt their senses vanish—sight, sound, smell, everything was gone. Only darkness remained.
A strange black energy, no bigger than a marble, floated before them. Its mere presence distorted space, and time seemed to slow. It was raw, pure chaos, and it was terrifying.
The black marble drifted towards the captured divine beast. As it made contact, space itself tore, revealing layers beyond down to the third layer, where vast orbs of power, the essence of the world's laws, flickered.
Kira and Marcule stared, speechless, as the realization hit them. This was the world's origin ,a network of elements and space, laid out like a cosmic design. And Mark had tapped into it.
And then it hit them. They weren't just spectators; Mark *wanted* them to see this. They exchanged glances, then looked at him simultaneously. Mark's giant form towered over them, a smile stretching across his face.
"Thank you," they both said, awestruck.
"Let's end this, shall we?" Mark clenched his fist, his gaze settling on the divine beast. Kira and Marcule followed his lead, watching as the once-majestic creature reverted to its embryo form. But something was wrong. It began to distort—growing, shrinking, as if past and present were colliding in real time.
"This... This is..." Marcule muttered in shock, unable to finish his sentence as Kira's sharp eyes took in every detail. Her heart raced. She knew this was her shortcut, her key to reaching Quasi Rank 3.
Mark's voice cut through the tension, calm yet loaded with power. "I can erase your past and present." He dropped the bombshell, as the entire divine beast was consumed by a small orb of dark energy, its form utterly devoured. Your next chapter awaits on empire
Moments later, the dark energy began to dissipate, transforming into the purest essence of different energies, which harmlessly dispersed into the world.
"Wow," Kira whispered, her eyes still glued to the scene.
"Wow, indeed." Marcule's grin widened as he laughed, "We have someone who can protect us now."
Mark smiled but couldn't help adding, "Hey, the best protector is yourself."
Marcule laughed again, shaking his head. "Fine, fine, but until I reach that level, I'll say it ,thank you, Mark."
"Same here. Thank you." Kira smiled as well. "I'll break through sooner than expected."
Mark's eyes gleamed. "So, how about a little training session?"
Kira and Marcule exchanged glances, then responded in unison, "Definitely!" With a smirk, they both lunged at the giant Mark.

**Light years away…**
A colossal Rank 3 being observed the scene from afar, a knowing smile on his face. "This brat is a monster indeed," Kira's father chuckled. "With such potential and relentless drive, he's destined to be a great powerhouse."

**Meanwhile, at the Moonlight Auction House…**
Ariya groaned as she woke up, gazing at her bare body. Her perverted master was at it again. Sitting up, she immediately felt the difference—she was stronger now. But she couldn't afford to relax. Her master had specifically ordered her to reach Rank 3.
She had to sever herself from the past, present, and future, for they had all merged into one incomprehensible flow of power. Once, her master had picked up a marble from space and told her it was a universe. She didn't understand what that meant until she entered it. Inside, there were trillions of planets, galaxies clustered together, an endless sea of celestial bodies.
They explored the entire universe for thousands of years, yet not even a second passed. Her master had disrupted time itself. Ariya could still remember the shock she felt when her master crushed an entire universe after they returned.
"A universe crushed so easily..." Ariya thought, clenching her fists. *That* was the power of Rank 3 beings—existences that stood outside the boundaries of a single universe, capable of influencing multiple realities with the flick of a finger.
"Master is so strong. If I can achieve this strength, then who's Void? Who are those invaders? They could all be crushed with a single finger," Ariya mused, her resolve hardening.
Her thoughts were interrupted by a sweet, teasing voice. "Oh, my dear disciple is awake."
Ariya looked up to see her master, her eyes quickly searching for something to cover herself, but it was too late. Her master's mischievous hands were already groping her.
"Master!" Ariya protested with a wary smile. "You have your own… why are you grabbing mine? Yours are bigger and better."
"Soft…" her master responded with a light smile, her hands still fondling.
Ariya blushed, calling out again, "Master…"
With a chuckle, her master finally pulled away. "Fine, fine. Here's the next cultivation technique. Once you reach the peak of Rank 2, our leader wants to see you. But be careful he's a bigger pervert than I am."
Ariya watched her master leave, sadness creeping into her heart. Her father was gone.n/o/vel/b//in dot c//om
"Dad... are you really gone?" she whispered, her voice barely audible.

**In the vastness of space…**
A figure floated, motionless.
...twitch...twitch...
"I can't die," a cracked voice whispered, its words filled with desperation.

**At the Third Abyss…**
A female demon lay on the ground, her body trembling. She had been used and discarded by multiple male Rank 2 demons, her dignity stripped away. One of them chuckled darkly, "She's perfect for bearing our offspring."
Another sneered, "She's of filthy bloodline. She shouldn't be allowed to breed."
Their laughter echoed as they walked away, leaving her to her despair. The female demon Junnie gritted her teeth, rage boiling within her. Despite her demonic bloodline, she was no match for them. Even if she could defeat one, there were too many at her rank, and higher.
"Void… Void… Void… I will kill you," Junnie vowed, standing up on shaky legs. She had no choice but to endure. Demons lived by a strict hierarchy, where the strongest ruled and the weak followed. Breaking that order meant death.
That's the only reason she was still alive. The rules had spared her for now.
"I will change my bloodline," she muttered darkly. "Even the Aerons aren't treated like this."
In a month, she would lay eggs, and then she could access the unique magma river that led to the First Abyss. It was the secret to the demons' size and strength, to their ability to reproduce and conquer.
