Chapter 63 The archangels report
**BOOM!**
A giant beast, radiating a powerful Rank 2 aura, collapsed to the ground with a deafening crash. Shen Ye, breathing heavily, stood over its body, his chest exposed as he retracted his fist from the beast's shattered skull.
A strange suction effect took place, and Shen Ye began devouring the creature, absorbing everything from fur to bone. His grin widened as he closed his eyes.
"Finally... low-level Rank 2," Shen Ye muttered with satisfaction, feeling the power surge through his body, refining his density and strength.
However, a frown crossed his face as he moved on. He was deep within one of the most dangerous forests in this world, and yet he ventured further. Legends whispered that at the heart of the forest lay a quasi-Rank 3 beast. But Shen Ye knew the truth, there was no quasi-Rank 3, only a peak Rank 2 and He wouldn't leave until he faced it.
Determined, he pressed forward, the beasts he encountered becoming stronger and more ferocious with each passing day.

**Months Later**
The world was in turmoil. The news of the complete annihilation of the Elf and Demon clans spread like wildfire, striking fear into the hearts of everyone. Two top races, eradicated by unknown forces—panic gripped the world, especially those of similar or lower rank.
At the heart of the Dragon Clan...
The ancient Dragon Ancestor awoke from his deep slumber, shaking the very foundations of Dragon Island. His awakening caused the entire island, which was essentially his body, to rumble.
"My child is returning... that human is bringing him back," the Dragon Ancestor announced, his voice shaking the skies. The dragons roared in unison. The heir was coming home.
"But he is not alone," the ancestor added, sensing the chaotic aura that accompanied Linkir.
"Hmph! We'll fight him if necessary. Even his mother won't interfere, if she does, the entire world will turn against her," a Golden Dragon elder said angrily, referring to one of the powerhouses who had already destroyed an entire clan.
"Do not speak lightly of her," the Dragon Ancestor warned. "Her power is beyond comprehension. She could destroy this entire world if she wished."
A shocked silence fell over the gathered dragons. The elder's bold words were replaced by fear, as they all knew the destructive capabilities of a single peak Rank 2 being. The destruction of billions of galaxies was no small feat for someone of her level.

"You're late," a voice said.
The Sword Demon appeared, casually sipping from his wine gourd as Linkir caught up to him.
"Sword Demon," the Dragon Ancestor growled, his voice deep and filled with authority.
"Yeah? What do you want?" Sword Demon replied nonchalantly, taking another sip of wine.
"My son. Where is he?" the Dragon Ancestor demanded coldly.
With a sly smile, the Sword Demon shook his sleeve, and a young dragon emerged. The dragons around them gasped. The heir was growing far stronger than they had ever anticipated.
**RAAAWWWRRR!** The young dragon let out a roar, but instead of a fierce display, it immediately asked for more wine. Sword Demon obliged, grinning as the little dragon became tipsy.n/ô/vel/b//jn dot c//om
"You dare feed him that poison?" the Dragon Ancestor roared, his anger boiling over.
"Come on... he loves it! It's just wine," Sword Demon replied with a laugh, cradling the dragon in one arm.
"You... repulsive..." one of the elders began, his aura flaring as it pressed down on the Sword Demon. But Sword Demon merely grinned, his own Rank 2 aura effortlessly pushing back the oppressive energy.
"Give me back my son," the Dragon Ancestor demanded, his voice cold.
"Sorry, no can do," Sword Demon said, drawing his sword lazily. "He's my friend now. You disagree? Let's settle this here."
The Sword Demon's power surged, stunning the gathered dragons, including the ancestor.
"He really is a monster..." the Dragon Ancestor muttered.
"Why are you even here if not to return my son?" the ancestor asked, his gaze flickering to the tipsy young dragon, who no longer recognized his own kin.
Sword Demon hesitated for a moment, his expression darkening as he struggled to speak. "Help me... contact... her..."
A wave of fear washed over him, his body shifting uncomfortably.
"I just came for a visit!" he suddenly laughed, waving off the tension. The dragons glared at him in anger.
"Alright, alright, we're leaving," Sword Demon said, giving a mock salute.
Linkir, thoroughly confused, watched the interaction unfold. "What just happened?" She whispered to herself.
As they walked away, the Dragon Ancestor called out, "My son stays with you only because of your mother. Keep him safe."

**In the Vastness of Space...**
A marble-like object floated amidst the ruins of a shattered universe. A crack slowly formed in the fabric of reality.
"It is time," a SEIDES declared, and the horde rushed into the opening, their roars echoing through the cosmos.
Shen Ye, Linkir, Sword Demon, and others felt the tremors in the world, as if the universe itself was trembling in anticipation.

**At the Quinlan Sect...**
The sect master returned, her face filled with rage. The invasion had begun. The ancient clan, the one they all feared, had made their move.
"Time to prepare," she muttered, sending out word to the remaining Rank 2 existences.

**Sixth Layer of Space...**
Chains rattled as a multi-formed being gazed into the distance. Asmodeus grinned, his thousand-year confinement nearing its end.
"A new realm... how delightful," he whispered, preparing to pass the time in slumber.

**In Heaven...**
The clone of Michael stood in a pool, reporting to a Seraphim with six wings—another clone of Michael.
"You encountered Asmodeus' clone here in the multi universe?" the Seraphim asked, his voice filled with surprise.
"Yes, but the main body saved him. It has broken its chains. In a thousand years, it will be free, but its location remains unknown," the clone replied grimly.
The Seraphim's wings fluttered as his expression darkened. "This... this cannot be."
"A demon with a new bloodline—one as powerful as the Original Sin—was responsible," the clone continued.
"What?" the Seraphim gasped. "A bloodline as powerful as the Seraphim?"
"Yes, and I believe the worst has come to pass. The Abyss has awakened. It has begun devouring again. The multiverse, the Omniverse, even the Cosmos—none are safe."
The Seraphim's eyes narrowed. "The Abyss... has awoken."
