Chapter 465

Friday, August 24th, 2046

First Estate, Hangzhou, China

The preparation for the day's event had been in full swing since yesterday, and by 9 am, everything was completed.

By noon, all the guests from the Sword Sect and the Wei Family had arrived, including the head of the Sword Sect, and at 1 pm, an unexpected guest led the members of Ancient Qin into the Estate.

"Lord Erebus." A tall young man, who looked no older than his mid-twenties, with icy-blue eyes and pitch-black long hair, greeted Keith with a slight bow.

"Lord Yan," Keith smiled and returned the greeting before shaking the man's hand. And then he nodded to the Head of the Qin Sect and the rest, who all bowed to him.

"Father," Roulan, who was standing behind Keith respectfully bowed to her father and then happily walked over to hug him.

"I was expecting a call after you had made your decision." He smiled, and she embarrassedly lowered her head.

"I did not get the time, but I informed the guards," She lightly said, and her father chuckled at her words before stroking her head. "Go, be with your new family. I need to talk to Lord Erebus in private."

Hearing his words, everyone else respectfully dispersed as well, and Roulan guided them to their gazebos in the woods, close to the artificial lake, which they had decided as the venue for the wedding. And there, they met with the Ancient Wei and enjoyed the delicacies that the maids and butlers were constantly serving.

"I will be honest, I was not expecting you today," Keith said as he walked towards the back of the Manor with Qin Zhijian, and the man smiled at his words.

"I was going to wait in the Sect for your arrival, but I received a message from Lady Wuji last night, and I had to come." He informed him.

"Is there a message?"

"No. She just instructed me on the Wedding gift that I should personally give to you." He smiled and then reached inside the pocket of his back Tang Suit with golden Eastern dragon markings, taking out a pendant that caught Keith by surprise.

"The Yin Half of the Yellow Emperor's Pendant."

"Yes." Zhijian smiled. "I was surprised too when she told me that it was inside my Sect, in the hands of an ordinary Auror, who was keeping it as family heirloom. And he handed it over happily when he was offered to become a disciple to one of the Elders in exchange for it."

Keith chuckled at those words and shook his head.

"If only he knew how precious it was."

"Indeed." Zhijian too smiled and then handed it over to him. "May I ask what you are going to do with it?"

"I will give it to my wife. She already has the Yang Half," He informed the man, who was a little surprised by his words.

"I see. That makes sense." The Inheritor of Yan nodded his head, not thinking about it much. However, soon a smile crossed his lips. "I suppose I will be seeing you joining the Tian Pantheon one day."

"I might, but I am afraid it will be a long wait." Keith smiled.

He could only join more Pantheons or create some after becoming a True God. Until then, he was going to remain Erebus' Inheritor.

The two of them walked around the grounds, talking about different things, and by the time they reached the woods, Zhijian informed him about his plans.

"I am going to leave Gaia after your and Roulan's wedding."

"Are you going to hold a ceremony?"

"No," He shook his head. "But I want my daughter to be there when I Ascend."

"We will be there," Keith promised and then guided him to Gazebo where the Qin Sect's head was present.

He took his leave to get ready for the ceremony and stored the Yin Pendant inside his System Inventory.

The only reason why he was sure that Qin Feng would not run from this world any time soon was the legacy of the Yellow Emperor.

It was what Destiny had designed for its favoured Child, and it was not going to be easy to replace.

However, he knew that the moment he gave the Yin Pendant to Feifei, who was supposed to become the inheritor of Blue Empress according to Destiny's Plan, she would enter the first Trial and pass it, making her the Inheritor of the Yellow Emperor.

This would mean that Blue Empress' legacy was going to be vacant, and Destiny might assign it to Qin Feng. If that were to happen, then the chances of him leaving this world would dramatically increase.

Even the people he would never wish to leave behind on Gaia at Keith's mercy would not be able to bind him.

"Keith!"

When he entered his room, he found Kiara and Minami waiting for him there, already dressed up for the event, and the former immediately grabbed his arm and dragged him into the dressing room.

"We are getting late!" She told him before she started taking off his clothes, and then the two girls happily helped him wear his suit, not forgetting to take advantage of him wherever they could.

Venessa, Kashish, and Sibyl entered the room when they were almost done, and then his mother helped set his hair.

Once the clock hit 3 pm, Keith, accompanied by Venessa, Diana, Kiara, Minami, Kashish, Sibyl, and Ginara, arrived at the venue, and where everyone else stopped at the bridge, his mother and grandmother led him to the decorated Gazebo in the middle of the lake.

The guests were already up on their feet, waiting for the arrival of his brides, and when the two finally came, they could not help but feel like two fairies, straight out of dreams, had descended in the Mortal world.

It was not just their extravagant and exquisite dresses, but also the Aura with which they carried themselves that attracted everyone to them, but as soon as both the Ancient Families recovered their bearings, their youngsters immediately stepped forward and lined up, drawing their swords and placing their tips on the ground.

They stood with their heads lowered, lined up on either side of the passage, and as soon as the two Brides and their Guardians passed by them, they started dropping down to one knee.

It was only after Rouxi and Feifei stepped on the bridge that they stood up again, sheathed their swords, and then knelt again, but this time, facing the Gazebo on the lake where the ceremony was about to start.

"Lord Yan," Keith smiled at the Mortal God, who was surprised at his sudden call, but understood that the Lord of Darkness wanted him to stand as the Officiant today.

Then again, he was the oldest person present there and belonged to one of the families who were being united today. It was how the tradition went, and he smiled before he started walking towards the bridge.

"It's an honour," He greeted the Brides and their Groom with a slight bow and then stood facing them. "In the Light of the Laws that govern us and everything in existence and beyond, I, Qin Zhijian, stand witness today as these souls take their vows and bind themselves to each other..."

After the oration, Venessa, Roulan, and Wei Jia stepped forward, and the rings were exchanged.

The three Guardians then started binding their arms, with Feifei taking Keith's left side, and Rouxi taking his right, and as soon as their wrists were bound, they recited their Vows.

Feifei could not help her giggles when Keith and Rouxi shared their kiss, but when it was finally her turn, she burned into a furious blush as their lips met and her friends and sisterwives giggled and cheered for her.

Their wrists were then unwound, and Diana opened the Scroll and spread it on the table.

Qin Zhijian held the tray that was filled with blood-red ink, and then he asked them to coat both their hands in it and leave their marks on the Scroll. n/ô/vel/b//in dot c//om

Since Feifei had chosen to keep one Scroll for all three of them, they all marked their hands together on it, and the two girls were genuinely happy when they looked at their handprints.

Venessa, Roulan, and Wei Jia were the first witnesses to sign the Scroll, and then Diana and Qin Zhijian signed it.

One by one, each member of the three families who were present there, came over to sign the Scroll and then congratulated the Newlyweds.

Some pictures were taken, and then their entourage of several dozen people walked towards the Manor.

The Wedding Banquet was held inside the Hall, and then Kiara took the Piano, and Rebecca took the Violin as Alana sang the song she had prepared for them.

Keith first danced with Feifei, and then with Rouxi, and only after their dance did everyone else take the floor if they wished.

Feifei led the cheers when Jin invited Baobao for a dance, and seeing the two youngsters blush, even those who were not familiar with them, started cheering.

This, of course, made them blush even more, and the guests wholeheartedly enjoyed the sight of the two blushing lovebirds.

Feifei shed a few tears when her aunt took the stage and sang her the song that used to be her mother's favourite, and then she danced with her grandfather, who managed to make her laugh, lighting up her mood again.

As per the tradition, the men from the two Ancient Families made Keith sit with them and drink the wine that they had brought. And he entertained them to the very last cup, not losing his sobriety in the least, which the drunk men complained about, and those who were sober laughed at their antics.

The ladies of the three families exchanged gifts, after which, one by one, the guests greeted the Newlyweds and then took their leave.

"I will wait at the Qin Sect," Roulan, who had decided to leave with her father, told Keith, and he nodded to her.

"I will come in a few days," He promised her and then came out to see her and Qin Zhijian off.

"When should I expect you to come for her?" The Inheritor of Yan asked.

"In two or three days."

"We will be waiting," He nodded his head and then smiled at his daughter, who stepped forward and hugged Rouxi and Feifei before taking her leave.

When the three of them arrived in the main lounge, everyone was waiting for them there.

"Who wants to come with us to Aerzar?" He asked, and everyone, except for Venessa, Rebecca, and Iseul raised their hands or said yes.

"We will stay here," The Lady of the Demiliore Family told him, and he nodded to her and Rebecca, knowing well why they wanted to stay here.

They wanted to keep an eye on Qin Feng and his activities, and he was sure that Amelia and Qingyue would come out of Aerzar too to join them in a few hours.

"Alright. Let's go." He said and then teleported those who wanted to come to the world inside the Steele of Time and Space.
