Summoners War: Only I Summoned Divine Beasts

Chapter 394 Grand Magic Tower

"So, this is the Grand Magic Tower." Nathan raised his head in amusement.

The tower was similar to the Blacksmith Guild's headquarters. However, it was much wider.

There were a lot of people wearing robes, making them look like scholars. Their clothes were also much more formal than any city he had.

However, the level of the structure of the city was similar to the major cities. It couldn't be compared to the buildings in the Blacksmith Guild's headquarters.

"You have seen the Blacksmith Guild's headquarters, so the tower itself shouldn't surprise you. The only difference between that tower and this one is the size. There are a lot of halls inside of this tower, so they need a bigger size." Vivian nodded.

Nathan glanced around. "Still, I feel like there are a lot of summoners in this city."

"Of course. You need to be a summoner if you want to know Ena. There are some normal humans among researchers, but most of them are summoners."

"Is that so?"

"Yeah. Do you know that the Grand Magic Tower was the one who played the biggest role in changing the chant of the summoning ritual?"

"I only knew the chant was changed, not the one responsible for it."

"Yep. If you need any groundbreaking invention revolving around Ena, the magic tower is the place to go." Vivian waved her hand. "Let's go to the tower first to register our work. Zalton should be waiting for us over there. After that, we'll go to the inn."

"Got it." Nathan nodded in agreement.

As Vivian said, Zalton had been waiting for them together with Elder Thompson.

"Oh my. Have you been waiting for so long?" Vivian smiled while extending her hand.

"No. We've just arrived. Thank you for inviting us here. You even allow us to participate in your research." Thompson shook her hand. "We meet again, boy."

"Yes." Nathan nodded.

Zalton was holding a case. "I have brought the sword prototype here. I have tested it multiple times, and it works."

"Thank you. Let's register first. I will be going up on the first day, so you won't be here for too long."

"Haha. Don't mind us." Thompson chuckled. "Let's go inside."

The inside was rather similar to the Blacksmith Guild's headquarters. However, each room was actually much bigger. There were even a lot of large halls for conferences or something.

"To think that you could create something like this. It's no wonder why Vivian takes you in." Thompson patted Nathan's shoulders.

"No stealing him from me." Vivian glared at him.

"You're too possessive." Thompson shrugged.

They arrived at the counter.

Vivian stepped forth while taking out a blue badge. "Hello, I'm Professor Vivian Lorelei. I have come here to register my item for the presentation tomorrow."

The staff politely bowed. "Welcome, Professor. Sir Robert has been waiting for you. Please come with me."

The staff led them to a different room.

"Grandmaster Robert. Professor Vivian is here to register her items."

"Please come in."

Once the staff opened the door, they could see an old man standing in the middle of the room. He was very old, to the point where he needed a cane to support his body. His eyes could barely open.

"Hello, Grandmaster Robert." Vivian smiled. "To think you would personally inspect my items. I am now feeling assured."

Robert smiled. "Hahaha. After leaving the magic tower for a few years, you suddenly come back with some inventions and even have a disciple. I will definitely be here to see you. I'm just glad that you are not a bloody mess anymore."

"Ahahaha." Vivian had a bitter expression. She turned to Nathan. "This is Grandmaster Robert, a senior who used to work with my late mentor. Introduce yourself."

"Hello, I am Nathan, Grandmaster Robert."

"I know you, the rumored unique summoner. She is a lady blessed with luck. To think she would have you to be her disciple." Robert chuckled. "There are a lot of things to talk about, but let's check your items first."

"Yes." Vivian first pushed the giant box, revealing the giant crystal in it.

Robert looked at the crystal. Although it was faint, his eyes were glowing.

"I see. Do you use this crystal for observation or calculation?"

"Hahaha. As expected, I can't fool your eyes. Something along the lines." Vivian nodded. "This is the main project for tomorrow."

"I see. There is no danger from this one." Robert recorded it in the form. "Next."

"These are the items." Vivian tugged Nathan's shoulder.

Nathan took out his gun, and Zalton presented the sword.

"A new weapon? It has a unique design." Robert examined the gun. "The amplification can boost your Ena three times. The materials are also good, so it can hold up for quite a while. The limit of Ena is pretty high as well. Good weapon."n/ô/vel/b//in dot c//om

He then continued to the sword. "I see. The sword is good, but the one you're trying to show is this small thing that is inserted into the weapon. It contains Ena, which is quite mysterious, but the purpose should be for people who don't have Ena… am I wrong?"

"Haiz. I don't think I need to explain it to everyone since you've already seen through it." Vivian chuckled.

"Haha. I just want to say. They're good inventions. Welcome back, Vivian."

Vivian smiled. "Yes. Thank you, sir."

He took out a blue card with 'E3' written on it. "Take this. We'll keep everything here, so take your disciple to that place and just enjoy today."

"Are you not coming with us?"

"I still have my job, so no. Thank you for the thought, though."

Vivian nodded in understanding. "Understood. Then, please excuse us."

Robert waved his hand.

Vivian then led the group outside. She politely bowed to Robert one more time before closing the door.

"Where are we going next?" Nathan asked.

"A place with good noodles and meat." Vivian smirked. "It's where I usually eat after pulling an all-nighter."

Before they could go, they suddenly heard a high-pitched voice coming from the side.

"Well, well, well… Who is here? It's no wonder why it smells like grass. It turns out the forest kid is here."
