370  369: A Week

After the reunion between Corey, Divine, and the remaining members of the group, a week went by, and a lot of things happened during the week.

On the day of their reunion, Divine and Corey, mainly Divine, had a lot of catching up to do with the group.

A lot of discussions regarding what had happened during Divine's imprisonment and how he was caught when he tried to steal from the mansion of the Lord of the Central Area was talked about. However, when Divine talked about how he was caught, he never mentioned anything about being betrayed or there being a traitor among them.

The reason he gave was that he made a mistake and completely missed a hidden alarm in the mansion of the Lord of the Central Area.

The others believed and none behaved suspiciously even though Corey subtly observed everybody that was present.

After their discussion about Divine and his imprisonment, Fatty Black Bonez also lamented about how they had suffered immensely because of Divine. He lamented and complained about how they had been chased and almost killed by members of the House of Hellfire.

After listening to how each of them fought and killed several members and even some Chosens of the House of Hellfire, he laughed and complimented them.

Divine then told all of them about his deal with Calista, the Emporium Manager, which was to fight a tier 5 during the Battle of Chosens for his freedom.

Unsurprisingly, the group were shocked and concerned when they heard this. Although they knew that Divine was extremely strong for a tier 3, fighting a tier 5 as a tier 3 was madness and insanely difficult. However, Divine remained carefree and told them not to worry since he would definitely win.

He also told them how there might be many tier 4s and tier 3s who would try to attack him and kill him since he could not fight back or kill anybody. He also told them that there was a possibility that they would even face Chosens from powerful families who knew about him and wanted to kill him for their gain.

Although the group was worried since if they were not able to protect Divine, they knew that their chances of escaping the Underworld would most likely come to zero (0), they were also pumped up.

No matter what, they planned on protecting Divine and killing anybody that dared to attack him and them.

After they were done, Corey brought up a new topic which was about the deal and arrangement he made with Calista on Neon.

He went over the deal and told them how he had made a deal with Calista to include Neon in the auction of the Underworld Emporium which is in three weeks.

He also told them that Calista was now the main person in charge of Neon, and that she was now going to be taking seventy percent (70%) of the profits of Neon, and also the fact that she now had the recipe for the concoction of Neon.

When Fatty Black Bonez, Rosa, Dave, Melissa, and Triple X heard everything Corey said, they were unsurprisingly enraged and also worried.

The scary truth was that all of them- Fatty Black Bonez, Rosa, Dave, Melissa, Triple X, and most especially, Divine- were broke.

Divine's value points and assets were seized and he could not get them back due to the crime he committed.

Also, the value points that Fatty Black Bonez, Rosa, Dave, Melissa, and Triple X were halved because they were affiliated with Divine, and also because there were suspicions that the group were also in support of Divine's crime in attempting to steal from the home of the Lord of the Central Area.

So, to put it plainly… They were broke.

All of them were broke and could no longer be considered to be among the richest in the Underworld. It was extremely painful for all of them, especially Divine, since they had worked extremely hard to gain their value points. However, they were not truly afraid.

Why?

Because in their mind, they had the Neon business.

Although it was no longer doing as well as before, with their help and determination, they were absolutely sure that Neon would become extremely successful and would even surpass its previous peak.

However, how they were meant to feel when they suddenly heard that they're source of hope was now taken from them by another individual.

They were enraged and also anxious.

Without Divine's absurd wealth and Corey's Neon business, gaining value points would no longer be as easy as it once was.

However, despite the emotions and thoughts of the group, Corey was not worried at all because this was all part of his plan and goal.

His main goal was not to create a successful and powerful drug empire in the Underworld. No, the drug empire was created for a much bigger plan of his.

And his main goal was to leave the Underworld no matter what. n/ô/vel/b//in dot c//om

Another reason why he was not truly worried and if he was being sincere with himself, he wanted Calista to push and publicize Neon with all she had.

He knew the consequences of what he was planning on doing, and he knew that he was going to become the enemies of so many powerful beings as a result of his future actions, however… He didn't care.

After Corey found a way to convince the group that they were still going to make profit from the sales of Neon despite Calista taking seventy percent of the profit, the group relaxed and calmed down.

And what made them to relax and calm down the more was when he told them that he was planning on creating a Neon 2.0, a Neon which could permanently increase the stats of tier 4s, and maybe even tier 5s in the future.

They were absolutely shocked to speechlessness when they heard this, and despite how unbelievable it sounded, they could only hope for Corey to successfully create Neon 2.0 since this meant more income for them.

Corey then went through a few things which they needed to do to improve the Neon Empire. Luckily for them, they already had a headquarters for the Neon Empire, some staff, and also a good networking system.

When Corey was explaining and going through a few things with the group, it was then something shocking happened.

An announcement of their U-Watches, and the announcement said this:
