Novel's Extra: I Awakened The Strongest Physique From The Start

CHAPTER 43 - Toward the Finals.

"YEAH!! That's it, Black! You can do it!"

"Damn! He's so handsome!"

"Go Golden!! Show'em what you got!"

"I love you, Golden!"

After the first match ended, Alex called for the medics to take both Mira and Brisk away before he started the next match, the participants being the orange-haired girl from Keryu's class and a confident-looking boy with a sleek suit dress and well-combed grey hair matching his eyes.

Both of them were allotted golden and black colors, respectively, and now, by the votes of the audience, they were selected to fight against each other.

Just like the last round with Mira and Brisk, both the participants fought with not-so-powerful attacks, gauging their opponents, making the audience, which mainly consisted of students from the first year, roar in excitement.

They were all weak, so for them, these matches were very high-level, and for some, it was even hard to follow.

So, the cheers never died down, and Alex, who was the referee, also kept an eye on the participants. He knew who they were.

The girl with orange hair and orange eyes was one of the heroines—one could tell that just from how beautiful she was. Like Ben, the original protagonist of the novel, she was also a commoner, but she had her parents alive—her mother at least.

She was way too talented to be left in the mud, so she was also called to the academy by an invitation, and no matter where she went, just showing that invitation was enough to protect her.

The academy's invitation worked like that, after all.

One shouldn't try to kill any person with the mark of the academy with them, or they would be making the whole academy their enemy—not something anyone in the world would want.

The girl's name was Margaret, just Margaret as she was a commoner, and commoners weren't supposed to have a surname.

She was the type of girl who would laugh off anything and thought that the whole world was filled with good people. The concept of bad was not even there in her dictionary, but if things went as the plot had it, then she was soon going to experience the bad, and she was going to have a really hard time.

"You are pretty strong for a commoner," spoke the guy who was her opponent, making her tilt her head before she smiled brightly.

"My name is Margaret, and thank you! You are pretty strong yourself!" She answered cheerfully, making the guy in front of her pause for a second—he was stunned at how he received her reply.

The guy was the youngest son of a king who served under the emperor of the vampire race, Damian Dickensor, and just like any other noble vampire, he was filled with arrogance and pride; his special bloodline, which made him a strong mage, was just something that added to his conceit.

But the smile of the girl in front of him made something inside of him move—the guy fell for her. Her purity and unawareness caused his heart to beat faster than ever.

He had, until now, never felt his heart beat like this, not even the time when he killed his mother with his own hands.

Woosh—Boom

He was so occupied with his thoughts that he wasn't even able to see the attack launched by Margaret and was hit by it.

"Huh?" This course of action surprised Margaret herself. She hadn't even gotten serious.

Thud

With a thud, the guy fell to his back as the attack from Margaret, although not the strongest, was still strong enough to make a one-star go unconscious, especially when he wasn't prepared for the attack.

Alex, seeing Damian down, walked up to Margaret, who was still looking around in confusion, "I won? Just like that?" Was all she kept muttering, and the crowd, although expecting an epic fight like the last one, still cheered for Magaret.

"YEAHHHH! GOLDEN!!"

Alex, who was walking past Damian, glanced at the guy's face and saw a wide devilish grin on his handsome face, even though the guy was clearly unconscious, and muttered to himself, 'It's still the same.'

"Did I really win—" It was then that Margaret, who saw him walking toward her, questioned him, but when he turned toward her, she paused, a bit dazed.

It was the first time she had seen him this closely, and she had to admit that Alex was really the most handsome man she had ever seen—way better than the guy she just fought.

"Yes, you won the match."

But she was soon broken out of her reverie when she heard Alex's voice, feeling his palm gripping her wrist and raising her hand high, making the audience go silent for a second.

"The winner of the second match is Golden." And as soon as he declared the result, the Colosseum again burst into cheers.

Margaret was left a bit disappointed, as she had thought that her fight would also be just like the last fight, but it seemed her luck just wasn't that good...

With a last glance at Damian, she went upstage, sitting on one of the five seats made for the winners of the first round.

And just like that, the rest of the matches went on, none of them making the audience scream their lungs out like the first match, but still satisfying as every participant was strong.

There were supposed to be 5 matches anyway, and among them, two fights were with the main characters, so of course, they were going to win.n/ô/vel/b//in dot c//om

Yes, Ben, who had yet to be able to control his power, did struggle a bit, but in the end, he won, making his victory seem heroic but still nowhere near the fight between Mira and Brisk.

Keryu, the transmigrated protagonist, however, ended the fight in just a second, leaving a strong impression on the minds of the audience and the higher-ups as well.

The last fight, which was between the mages, both having water as their main element, turned the fight into a battle of attrition. The result was obvious—the boy with higher mana won.

All that was left after the five matches were five winners, including Mira, who, after recovering her mana using a mana potion, had returned to the stage, staring at Alex without blinking, as the match looked uninteresting to her with Alex on the field.

"Alright, you all! It's time for another vote! This vote will decide who among these five would move directly to the finals!"

And finally, it was time for another vote, this time to decide who among the five remaining players would move to the next level without having to fight.

Five people couldn't make pairs, after all.

The one receiving the safe pass will get to avoid fighting for two rounds, one where the four remaining would fight and the next, which would be conducted right after, making the winners of the last two battles go against each other.

And finally, whoever wins would fight the one with the safe pass.

"Start!" Not long after under Alex's command, the voting started, and the result...

"YEAHHHHHH!!!! BLUE, WE ARE ROOTING FOR YOU!!"

Mira turned out to be the one getting the safe pass, making the audience roar happily.
