Chapter 1262 Realm Devourer And The Changes In The Primordial Shadow Realm (Part 2)

Chapter 1262  Realm Devourer And The Changes In The Primordial Shadow Realm (Part 2)

More than one day had passed since the Primordial Shadow Realm began to change.

By now, the size of the entire Primordial Shadow Realm had increased by nearly one third.

Although it was still slightly smaller than Utopia, it wasn't far from matching it in scale. The density of Primordial Shadow Energy within the realm had also grown significantly, becoming 30% denser than before.

Moreover, as the density of the Primordial Shadow Energy increased, many high-level shadow undeads, ranging from Rank Two to Rank Four had awakened.

While fewer than ten Rank Four shadow undeads had awakened, this was still a significant and unexpected development that surprised Anastasia.

Now, nearly 70% of the shadow undeads who had been slumbering in the underground area were awake.

Only the most powerful and high-ranking shadow undeads remained dormant as the energy required to awaken them was enormous, and only the Shadow Energy Pool could supply it.

Unfortunately, Florita was currently using the pool to recover her strength and awaken another Rank Six shadow undead. As a result, the other higher-ranking shadow undeads would have to remain in slumber for the time being.

As Anastasia monitored the Primordial Shadow Realm, she suddenly felt a shift and her expression turned serious.

"Is it finally over?" She muttered under her breath, noticing that the changes within the shadow realm were gradually coming to an end.

This was also the moment when the new Realm Glyphs were finally finished engraving onto Evan's body within the Blood Dungeon on Earth.

Suddenly—

Rumble!!!

The entire Shadow Realm began to quake violently. The newly expanded areas of the Primordial Shadow Realm, which had been integrated after assimilating the Azragoth World, fully became a part of the realm.

At the same time, a strange force erupted from the core of the Shadow Realm.

Because Anastasia's essence clone possessed partial authority over the Shadow Realm, she immediately detected this force and appeared in the throne room, where the core of the Shadow Realm was located.

As she materialized in the throne room, she saw the throne shaking violently, with the space around it distorting as though it might collapse at any moment.

Anastasia narrowed her eyes, attempting to probe the situation with her partial authority.

As she used her authority, she discovered that the core of the Shadow Realm was attempting to establish a connection with a distant location.

Confused by this development, she tried to stop whatever was happening. However, soon she realized she couldn't interfere with the process even with her partial authority. Thus, she chose to wait patiently for the process to end.

Time passed swiftly, and nearly ten hours went by. For Anastasia, who had lived for thousands of years, ten hours was but a fleeting moment. Thus, she showed no signs of impatience.

At last, the silence was broken—

Bang!

The space near the core of the Shadow Realm collapsed, and an unstable portal appeared in the void.

A powerful suction force erupted from the core of the Shadow Realm, devouring the surrounding Primordial Shadow Energy on a massive scale.

As the core absorbed the energy, the unstable portal began to stabilize and stopped trembling.

Anastasia raised an eyebrow at the sight. This time, when she used her authority to investigate the portal's destination, she finally uncovered an answer.

"To the place where the original Azragoth World was located," She murmured, surprise evident in her expression as she hadn't expected the portal to lead back to the location of the Azragoth World.

Although Florita hadn't provided her with many details about the Azragoth World—since Florita had only stayed there briefly to deal with the two Rank Six Core Evolvers who had attacked Evan—she did confirm that the place was not part of Utopia.

"Hmmm… It seems it won't be an issue if Master wants to go there in the future," Anastasia said to herself.

However, as she observed the portal, she noticed it remained stable only for a few seconds and was beginning to destabilize once more. A few moments later—

Bang!

A booming sound echoed within the throne room of the castle as the portal collapsed, causing the space where it had been to return to normal.

Anastasia wasn't surprised by this development as when she had probed the portal earlier, she discovered that it required an enormous amount of energy to open.

At this time, the core of the Shadow Realm had used the energy of the realm itself to establish an anchor point that could be used in the future to reopen the portal.

"The changes within the Shadow Realm this time are immense…" Anastasia muttered, glancing outside the castle to see hundreds of thousands of newly awakened shadow undeads. "I will need to reorganize everything." Nôv(el)B\\jnn

Just as Anastasia was about to leave the throne room, she noticed something unusual and paused.

"The core is still absorbing Primordial Shadow Energy from the surroundings," She observed, her gaze returning to the throne, which continued to draw in energy even though the anchor point with the Azragoth World had already been established.

As Anastasia contemplated the reason for this, the throne shook once again.

Suddenly—

Rumble!

With the rumbling of the ground, three massive stone slabs, each nearly ten meters tall and around three meters wide, rose from the floor behind the throne.

Anastasia stood stunned, unable to comprehend what she was seeing.

Once the three stone slabs fully emerged from the ground, they began to glow with distinct lights.

The first stone slab, on the left, emitted a soft, milky white light. The middle slab radiated a pitch black glow, while the third slab shone with a golden brilliance.

At the same moment, the core of the Primordial Shadow Realm ceased its absorption of energy from the surroundings, and everything within the Shadow Realm finally calmed down.

Anastasia stared at the three stone slabs, her eyes open wide in shock as she felt the energy radiating from them.

"The conceptual energies of Soul, Death, and Life."
