Chapter 1261 Realm Devourer And The Changes In The Primordial Shadow Realm (Part 1)

Chapter 1261  Realm Devourer And The Changes In The Primordial Shadow Realm (Part 1)

Inside the Primordial Shadow Realm...

Anastasia's essence clone stood frozen, a dazed expression on her face as she observed the space within the Primordial Shadow Realm expanding rapidly.

When Evan became a Rank One Core Evolver and the Shadow Realm evolved into the Primordial Shadow Realm, the space within the Shadow Realm had already grown to nearly one-third the size of Utopia.

Compared to the Core Worlds of many Rank Six Core Evolvers, this was already exceptionally vast.

However, the space was now expanding once more, and simultaneously, the density of Primordial Shadow Energy within the realm was increasing at an incredible rate.

"What is going on?" Anastasia's essence clone muttered, a frown forming on her face as she tried to comprehend the situation.

Just a few minutes earlier, a portal had opened within the Primordial Shadow Realm.

Anastasia's essence clone recognized this portal immediately—it was the same one that had appeared when Evan first used his Realm Guardian Authority within the Tomb of the Ancient, and Valtair had tossed a low-level shadow undead through it.

Due to that prior experience, Anastasia had given specific instructions to her essence clone that if the portal ever opened again, Florita was to be sent through.

Following these instructions, the clone had sent Florita through the portal when it opened earlier. However, only a few minutes later, the space within the Primordial Shadow Realm began to expand.

A devouring force began emanating from the core of the Primordial Shadow Realm, consuming something located far, far away.

Anastasia's essence clone tried to uncover what was happening, but due to her limited authority over the realm, she was unable to determine the source of the phenomenon.

As she pondered the situation, she suddenly sensed a familiar presence returning to the Primordial Shadow Realm and her expression shifted instantly.

"How did she emerge from the core of the Primordial Shadow Realm?" Anastasia's essence clone muttered before vanishing and reappearing within the throne room of the black castle.

As she entered the throne room, she found Florita standing there, and beside her lay two lumps of deformed flesh.

Anastasia's eyes widened in shock when she saw the two lumps and immediately recognized them as Rank Six Core Evolvers.

However, her attention quickly shifted to Florita, who was blindfolded and holding two swords—one golden and the other black. It was clear that Florita had used her Umbrathiel Form to battle these two Rank Six beings.

"What's going on, Florita?" Anastasia asked, her tone serious as she ignored the two lumps of flesh for the moment.

Florita did not respond immediately. Instead, she deactivated her World Form, returning to her normal appearance, and then began explaining the events that had unfolded in Azragoth World.

Anastasia's frown deepened as she listened to Florita's explanation. Once Florita finished, Anastasia asked.

"You mean the expansion of the Shadow Realm is related to Master?"

"Yes," Florita confirmed. "If I am not mistaken, he is assimilating that entire world into the Shadow Realm."

"I see..." Anastasia nodded and sighed in relief. She was aware of the concept of assimilation, though her knowledge of it was limited.

While Anastasia had left most of her powers with her essence clone, the same could not be said about her knowledge. She only had a vague understanding of the assimilation process, which was why the sudden expansion of the Shadow Realm had initially shocked her.

Now that she knew Evan was responsible, she stopped worrying and turned her attention back to Florita.

"How did you emerge from the core of the Shadow Realm?" She asked, curiosity evident in her voice.

"During the assimilation process, a channel was opened between that world and the Shadow Realm. I used it to return," Florita explained, gesturing toward the two lumps of flesh beside her. "If I hadn't used that channel and instead waited for the effect of Master's authority to end to return, I wouldn't have been able to bring these two back."

Hearing this, Anastasia nodded and narrowed her eyes as she examined the two lumps of flesh.

Based on Florita's account, these beings had targeted Evan. If Evan hadn't used his authority to summon Florita, it would have been difficult for him to escape.

"I will take care of them. Although it's faint, I can sense that both of them are connected to a powerful individual, and through that connection, they may be able to communicate with that person," Anastasia said, waving her hand. Instantly, a sphere of black energy enveloped the two lumps of flesh.

"A connection?" Florita raised an eyebrow, puzzled as she hadn't sensed any such connection.

"Don't worry about it," Anastasia reassured her. "You should take advantage of the rapidly increasing shadow energy. Go to the Shadow Energy Pool. With the energy influx, you should be able to recover to your peak strength and even reach mid-level Rank Six again."

Florita nodded, showing no surprise at Anastasia's suggestion since she had already planned to do the same. However, just as she was about to leave, she paused and turned back. n/ô/vel/b//in dot c//om

"Should I take one of those guys to the pool as well? It might be enough to wake one of them," She asked.

Anastasia considered this for a moment before nodding. "Alright, but don't touch that bastard. I have no idea what he will do if he wakes up and sees that Master isn't here."

"I still want to live a peaceful life so I have no intention of waking that Realm Devourer," Florita replied with a serious expression before disappearing.

Anastasia said nothing and turned her attention back to the two lumps of flesh, scrutinizing them carefully.

After a moment, she murmured to herself, "Is this connection related to another Progenitor?"

Meanwhile, deep within the underground areas of the Shadow Realm, Florita appeared in front of tens of thousands of black spheres.

Compared to before—when millions of these black spheres had occupied the underground space—their numbers had decreased by more than half, indicating that most of the shadow undeads who had been dormant within them had already awakened.

Florita walked deeper into the underground chamber until she stopped in front of three black spheres that were noticeably different from others and had a powerful aura surrounding them.

She gazed at them silently before her eyes fixed on the second sphere from the left.

"Even if Master doesn't integrate the Shadow Realm with his core for the time being, this one should be able to help him after awakening," She muttered to herself and with a wave of her hand, she vanished, taking the black sphere with her.
