Chapter 958 Preparations for the festival
[OP: ]
"Alright! You can look around if you want until those who are coming from the other side arrive, but Do Not touch the things with red labels!"
They were all gathered inside the huge lab and were looking at the various things that were present all around the place.
It was a fun place, especially for the creators of Class (I) that were interested in the various things related to alchemy, gardening, enchantment, magic, and even for those who wielded a weapon, this place was equal to a heaven.
They were looking around the place and every time they blinked, they could spot a unique thing that they could associate with.
"What do you think we will be doing today?"
"I dunno about doing, but I'm pretty sure someone's going to get into trouble."
"Be careful. You might be the one to get into trouble as well."
The students were chatting while Eon and Rein looked around the place with their special eyes.
Captain Alpha was with them and there were a lot of things that he was interested in.
Be it the section filled with various kinds of weapons and artifacts created by masters and grandmasters, or the shelves full of spell books or unique ingredients that they could use in various magical creations.
There were just too many things in this big place that he was interested in, but, most of his other interest lay in what Eon and Rein were looking at.
"We will start with the blueprint discussion."
*
They were going to start with their discussion about the creation process of their project and since their entire class was doing this, they didn't have to help the rest of the people with the festival preparations.
"Miss Titania! We needed that!"
"Oh, sorry! I thought no one was using it!"
"We need more wood here, please!"
"Is that the best you can do?!"
In the academy, even though the classes for the day had ended, the campus was still filled with cheerful noises.
"We aren't putting lights on the tree in the summer garden! That's not what you are supposed to do!"
Teachers, especially the class teachers of various classes were intersecting the students of their class on what they were supposed to do.
Many of them had not decided on what they were going to make yet, but they knew they would come up with something soon.
But until that happened, they didn't mind helping out with the decorations, cleaning, and other things they needed for the festival.
"Lady Sam. We will be completing the west side corridor area soon. If it's fine with you, can Class B take over the second floor?"
"Oh, yes Master Brok. Class C has worked hard with the cleaning and all. Worry not, we can take care of the rest in that place."
The class teachers for Class B, C, D, and J were looking after the preparations this time, but all the classes were supposed to help out and finish their own quota before the festival arrived.
"Will Lady Vermilion be alright with the garden stuff?"
"Oh, worry not. She knows how to handle her children well."
Class D already feared their Cat class teacher, there was no way they would mind cleaning up some wild grass and flattening the ground in various places for the festival.
They actually wouldn't even dare to jump off the first floor if she asked them to do it. They feared her that much, but at the same time, they also knew there was some meaning behind everything she did.
She had cat ears and a tail, plus her fur was pink. Anyone not knowing her could tell she was at least not a bad person despite her unique personality.
She cussed and her actions had traumatised her class since the first day, but she was at least not a bad teacher.
She made sure every single one of her children learned what they were supposed to learn… even if she had to resort to some Unconventional methods.
"Alright, we are done with this part Sir Aventurine. Should we go and look after the adjacent areas as well?"
Aside from the orc mother of Class B, the charming Dwarf teacher of class C, and the fearsome Teacher of Class D, the other class that was helping out this time was Class J and the simple Elf teacher that his class looked up to.
"No need to push yourself, everyone. Good work for now, and you can take a break before you start anything else."
"Yes teacher~."
The children of his class followed him and his instructions well. And, even though he was in charge of teaching them Society, Culture, and History, he taught them a lot more than just the things under his subject.
He specialised in psychology mainly, so he had knowledge of all the things that involved humans, or other intelligent beings that lived in societies, had their own unique cultures and had some kind of history that the humans or the academic world knew about.
He knew a lot and he gave them a lot, and in return, he earned what any teacher of this world would be happy to receive from his students: respect.
He was a simple person otherwise, and yet his children followed him better than a few other classes that had teachers with strong dominance over their class.
*
The preparation that they were in the process of mostly included things like cleaning up the places, making them good enough for the normal people, creating special decorations and decorating the various parts of the academy from both inside and out. Discover more content at empire
For most parts, even though it was just the first day, with the help of these hundreds of students, it seemed like a good portion of basic preparations would be finished on the ground floor of the academy castle and in some parts of the garden.
The garden itself was a big place and housed a lot of creatures, so they were going to need special people to look after it.
There were also the blue honeybees of the academy that would need special attention so they would need the help of a certain few individuals that were allowed to approach the house of these special bees.
A lot of things would still be left after this first day, but since they had almost three more weeks, they weren't going to face any great challenges with their tasks, at least, most of them would be fine with their tasks.
"Have you heard from the headmaster?"
The classes and the students as well as the students will lend a hand in the various tasks of the festival preparations, but the Student council would be the only entity dealing with the things that could concern the organisation of this festival.
"Not since yesterday… even Lucifer and Uriel only heard from Harry. She was saying he told them that the headmaster would meet them later in the evening."
There were a lot of elements other than the evil cult that would interfere with the smooth flow of the festival and, since the students weren't allowed to do those dangerous things on their own outside the academy, the student council members including Eon, Rein, as well as the two presidents would look after these matters.
"He left in a hurry, I think. Wasn't he here until late at night?"
The president was there when they talked about the presence of divine elements within that cult. And he was supposed to tell the Two of them about it as well.
But, he went out before telling them in a hurry. Which certainly meant something important had come up.
"I don't want any more troubles, Zod…"
"Neither do I."
"Ptssssss."
Even their little Snake friend didn't want any more trouble.
It just wanted to roll around, eat delicious things, and play with its other friends.
Sadly, they knew that wasn't going to be possible.
"He won't let us fight with them." The president knew how much the Headmaster cherished them.
They were going to be fighting a battle and the two of them could not be part of that battle. Though, the same might not be the case for Eon and Rein.
"But we can at least watch, right?"
Unlike the two of them, Eon and Rein could actually help them with things other than fighting.
They were much better than them at certain things even though both of them weren't as strong as either of them.
Her Chain Explosion spells or Astral Dives weren't going to be of any use there, and the same was the case for his unique abilities, his unique Aura, and the divine artifact that he had.n/ô/vel/b//jn dot c//om
"Well, Del… let's just hope things go well."
They could only Hope things don't go south anyway.
That was all they could do in their position.
*
"Is that true?"
The only people that could actually deal with the Demonic cultists present on this island were the headmaster, as well as the other organisers of the Grand conference that were willingly participating in this battle.
"We have a concrete reason to believe there are Stigma holders and [Vessels] present on this island."
The battle against the individuals present on the island or magic's wealth was going to be a deadly game.
All of their lives might be on the line, but the people of the island as well as the academy students might be in danger if anything beyond their plan happens.
"Show us, My lady."
{ "Yes, Lord Merlin." }
They had made their preparations and they were getting ready to deal with them.
However, even though only a handful of days were left before the D-day… new problems were still popping up from all around the place.
Even from the places these wise people had not predicted before.
"We might have to reconsider a few things, Merlin."
Things were getting complicated on one side, but at the very least… the festival preparations and the preparations for the competition were going well.
