Captain Wei and his group breathed a sigh of relief as they finally passed through the Spitter Zombie-infested area.

The acidic threat was behind them, and they were ready to continue their journey.

On the other hand, Shane was already observing the figures of the other survivors who were slowly encircling them. Well, with his more than 150 points of Perception, there was no way he would miss these people who weren't using some sort of device to hide their presence.

They were purely relying on the obstacles blocking their sight in order to hide.

Anyway, they were all wearing a SWAT Uniform they had recently obtained, so it was quite obvious that they were Foreign Survivors like him.

As Captain Wei moved forward, the group of people who seemed to have bad intentions slowly showed. Soon, they were trapped by 23 members of the Mystic Mirage Clan.

Their only escape was to head back to the Spitter Zombie-infested area.

"Passing through our hunting ground's area without our permission isn't good, you know?" Their leader, a tall man with blond hair and a commanding presence, spoke to the group.

Then, the Mystic Mirage members, clad in their distinctive SWAT uniforms, formed an arc around Shane's group.

"We don't know that you own this place…" Captain Wei said as he frowned. He didn't like where this was going.

The leader of the Mystic Mirage squad ignored Captain Wei's words as he noticed one of his subordinates rushing at him and whispered something…

The man's eyes then turned cold as he heard the report of his subordinate! Apparently, they could no longer contact the squad who should be killing the Spitter Zombies!

They had already disappeared from the Clan Members list, and those who were Friends on them also confirmed that they were no longer there!

These people had probably left the clan and removed their Friends from the Friend List, or they were actually dead!

The leader believed that it was the latter since there was no way those group of people would dare to leave their clan!

He then stepped forward and looked at Shane's group. This time, his eyes were already blazing with anger. "You! Drop all your weapons now! At this time, Shane also noticed that they were pulling out their blades, and a few of them had drawn their revolvers. To be exact, there were three enemies with firearms, while the rest of them carried melee weapons.

The tension in the air grew as the leader raised his hand, ready to command his team to attack.

At this time, Shane's A.I. Assistant, Cloud, was unaffected by the illusions.

[ Targeting enemies… ] Cloud announced, and the turret began firing even though their vision was still being confused by the illusion!

The automated turret's bullets tore through the illusions, striking the real enemies hidden within. Mei, who was about to get beheaded by one of the enemies, was immediately saved by a barrage of energy bullets fired behind her!

The Illusion was still in effect, so Captain Wei and the others couldn't help at this time.

In the end, they decided to just shoot with their guns everywhere to intimidate the enemies! Shane also decided to wield the M134 Minigun and unleashed a hail of bullets where Cloud pointed him to shoot. Soon, his weapon's roar drowned out the shouts and screams of the Mystic Mirage members!
