What Do You Mean There Are Other Transmigrators In My Harem Fantasy?

Chapter 898 : Elemental Monster Girls

The Dorome stopped upon hearing my words and retracted herself from the Lamia, allowing her to breathe again.

The Pitfall Lamia gasped as soon as she was allowed to breathe again, going so far as to hyperventilate a little before she calmed down.

"What happened?" The Lamia gasped, pushing herself up on her elbows as the Dorome slid off her.

"I conceded this match," I told her.

"Eh?! Why, Mistress? I could have continued fighting!"

I tilted my head, "I don't think you could have escaped from that though… How would you have freed yourself from being smothered by her?"

"Through great determination!" She argued.

Right…

"Anyway… I already conceded so come back here."

She pouted at me but did as I asked, returning to the rest of the girls and curling up to sit beside them.

I then nodded at the Gnome who strolled forward confidently to enter the arena.

The Dorome eyed the Gnome lazily before she suddenly melted into the ground again.

Verdam nodded at me to make sure I was ready before lifting his hand to announce the start of the next match.

"Match begin! Kilia, go and subdue her!!"

"Get her out of the ground!" I ordered.

I was expecting this to be in my favour since the Gnome should have better control over the earth than the other Monster Girl.n/ô/vel/b//in dot c//om

And as I expected, she thrusted her hand forward, the ground vibrating and undulating like a wave flowing towards Verdam's side of the arena.

There was a crack right before a cry of pain was heard and the Dorome was shot out from the ground.

"The earth is my domain~" The Burrow Gnome boasted.

The Dorome wasn't impressed and went ahead to smash her hands into the ground, creating an earth wave of her own that raced towards the Gnome.

The Gnome did not try to avoid it and merely raised her hand to point her palm at the wave, completely stopping it in its tracks and returning the earth back to normal.

She then raised her arm up and the ground beneath the Dorome shot upwards, launching the Monster Girl into the air.

I watched as the Dorome flew up towards the air before pillars of earth shot upwards to grab onto her limbs, suspending her above the ground.

She wasn't completely helpless as her arms suddenly expanded in size, breaking her out of her confinements and freeing her.

However, more pillars shot up to take their place, grabbing onto her limbs once again to keep her up in the air.

The Dorome's body started to undulate as a layer of the mud-like substance flowed out of her limbs to cover the pillars' surface.

There was a loud crack as the mud crushed the pillars and freed the Dorome once again.

"Stop playing around with her," I ordered, knowing that the Gnome was not taking her seriously at all and simply taunting her.

The Gnome immediately changed her attack and a giant chunk of earth shot up from the ground underneath the Dorome to fly directly at her.

She didn't even have time to react before that large, earthen ball smashed into her from below to send the both of them flying towards the ceiling, crushing the poor Monster Girl with it.

The ball then broke apart, revealing a flattened Dorome that was stuck to the ceiling.

With how she was crushed like that, I don't think she's alive anymore.

I was proven right when light engulfed the Dorome and she disappeared from the arena in a flash of light.

Now Verdam is down to his last two Monster Girls.

The Gnome turned to me and did a double peace sign.

"Victory~" She announced monotonously before shooting me a pleading gaze. "Reward?"

I gestured for her to come closer and she immediately raised the ground beneath her feet so that she was on the same elevation as I was and presented her head to me.

I went ahead to give her the head pat she wanted which made her let out a cute squeal when I did so.

Verdam then took that chance to summon his next Monster Girl.

"Come forth Lucra, my Undine!!"

Huh… So he's going for the type advantage I see…

Actually… Is there even a type advantage for them? Something tells me that it might not even matter to them.

Whatever, it's not like I have another elemental Monster Girl I can switch out to. Mother's type is just overpowered and that beats everything.

A circle of light appeared in front of Verdam's tower and a blob of water sprung out from the light, forming itself into a petite girl with translucent blue skin and hair with smaller blobs of water floating around her.

Her feet were floating just a few inches above the ground and she looked down at the Gnome with contempt.

"I finally get called out and this is my opponent? What a let down…" The Undine sighed.

The Gnome realised she was being looked down on and shook her fist at her, "What did you say? You think you're better than me?"

"Tch. Obviously? And I'm about to prove it to you as well. What a waste of my time. Master… Are you really sure you want me to fight this pipsqueak?"

Err… For the record, the Undine and the Gnome were roughly the same height… The Undine only looks taller because she's currently floating in the air while the Gnome had her feet planted firmly on the ground.

Verdam crossed his arms, "That's why I called you out here, didn't I?"

"Hmph!! It's not like I'm only doing this for you or anything, you idiot!"

… Ok, she's a tsundere… Got it.

Verdam ignored her antics and raised his hand once again, "Battle begin! Go Lucra, use tidal wave!!"

Pretty sure he just made up that attack name on the spot but the Undine obeyed and conjured up a wall of water that she sent crashing towards the Gnome.

"Shield yourself!" I ordered.

The Gnome quickly raised a wall of earth in front of her before more chunks of earth gathered around her to form a protective cocoon, right before the wave crashed straight into the wall.

Parts of the wall broke from the impact but it remained standing despite it.

The wall managed to hold on for a good few seconds before the wave managed to destroy it, leaving only the cocoon left to protect the Gnome.

But that seemed to be enough as the waves subsided, having only managed to chip at the outer layer of the earth cocoon.

"Take her down!" I cried out, feeling some hope that she could actually win this.

The earth cocoon exploded into pieces and the Burrow Gnome flung all the pieces at the Undine as a hailstorm of earth bullets.

"Shield yourself!" Verdam shouted, seemingly being more into this fight than I was.

The Undine spun her hands in a circle and a circular wall of water appeared in front of her, catching the earth bullets shot at her with said wall.

The stone bullets that hit the shield lose their momentum really quickly and floated in the water wall, leaving her unscathed.

When the barrage ended, the Undine clenched her fist over the wall, separating it into individual blobs with each one encasing one of the earth bullets that the Gnome had shot at her.

"Shield!" I ordered, realising what was about to occur.

The Gnome lowered herself to a knee and created another wall in front of her and encased herself in another cocoon of earth once again.

The Undine then shot the water blobs with the earth bullets at the Gnome, the projectiles piercing through the wall easily before striking the cocoon.

The cocoon managed to hold on for a good two seconds before the entire thing shattered, leaving the Gnome exposed to the rest of the barrage.

She tried to summon another wall but one of the projectiles blasted through her head before she could and her head literally exploded from the impact.

God damn… That was brutal.

Her headless body dropped onto the ground and stayed there for a few seconds before it disappeared into particles of light.

The Undine scoffed, "Hmph… As I said, I'm the superior one, right Master?"

"Yes, yes."

"Hmph! Just to let you know, I didn't follow your orders because I want to, ok?! I already wanted to do those things you told me to do!"

"Yes, yes."

Oh well… I guess I'm down to my last team member…

I turned towards Mother who was pointing at herself with a big smile on her face as if I had any other 'Monster Girls' to choose from in the first place.

The Lamia, who was ironically the only Monster Girl who did not die horribly, simply watched her with half lidded eyes while curled up on the ground.

I'm not sure if she even knew Mother wasn't a Monster Girl or didn't care. My guess is on the latter.

Alright then…

Go Mother, I choose you!
