Seeing Long Xiaoshan actually pull out a key, the girls in dormitory 306 were all somewhat surprised.

They had thought that Long Xiaoshan, the farmer, might have a vehicle, but at most a bicycle.

"It's not the key to an electric scooter, is it?" Yuan Xiaoli looked at the simple key, doubting.

Han Mu and the others laughed but said nothing, looking at Long Xiaoshan with teasing glances.

They had just been downstairs and, of course, seen Long Xiaoshan arrive in a pickup truck.

Now they were here to enjoy the show.

Long Xiaoshan pointed to the pickup parked not far away, "That's my car, right there, that Great Wall pickup."

Yuan Xiaoli was the first to burst into laughter.

Although Su Mei didn't laugh as loudly as Yuan Xiaoli, she clearly laughed out loud, and even the usually aloof Li Mengjie's lips curved into a smile.

Four men extended their car keys forward.

Yuan Xiaoli said cheerily, "Brother Long, where's your key?"

Long Xiaoshan shrugged his shoulders and also extended his pickup key forward.

Su Mei was the first to choose. Pretending to have a hard time deciding, she glanced over the Cayenne, Mercedes, and BMW. Han Mu laughed, "Su the beauty, ride in my Cayenne, ah, it's the most spacious and comfortable."

Su Mei gave a flirty laugh and reached for the Cayenne key.

This prompted Wei Shaocong to pretend to kick Han Mu.

Just as Su Mei's hand almost touched the Cayenne key, she suddenly shifted, swooped past it, and grabbed the Magotan key from Wei Shaocong's hand.

Wei Shaocong patted his chest with a look of relief, "Good, good, otherwise I'd really be single."

Han Mu and the others laughed heartily.

Everyone knew Su Mei would certainly choose Wei Shaocong, even if he drove a QQ instead of a Magotan.

Just because Wei Shaocong's father was the district head.

After Su Mei chose, Yuan Xiaoli immediately jumped out, saying, "Me, me, I'll choose first."

Although Yuan Xiaoli was not as good-looking as Su Mei and the others, her voluptuous figure was certainly attractive, so Han Mu and the others didn't mind playing around with her.

"I'll ride with little Xiaoshan," Chun Tao quickly said, standing next to Long Xiaoshan.

Han Mu's face fell.

He hadn't expected Chun Tao to still choose Long Xiaoshan.

Even Wei Shaocong, Su Mei, and others were surprised.

Could it be that Chun Tao couldn't see that, in terms of family background and demeanor, Han Mu and his friends were far superior to Long Xiaoshan?

"Interesting, but I prefer such beauties," Han Mu said.

His face looked unpleasant for a moment, before he quickly regained his composure.

If Chun Tao had chosen him without hesitation, he wouldn't have been as excited as he was now; conquering such a woman was what made it interesting.

After that, only Li Mengjie was left.

Han Mu and Ma Botao both watched Li Mengjie, with Ma Botao feeling incredibly frustrated, knowing she would never choose him. Li Mengjie's aloofness was famous throughout the campus, and even with someone like Han Mu, she rarely engaged; but now that it was just the two of them left, surely she would choose Han Mu.

He knew he was less than Han Mu in both family background and looks.

Han Mu confidently gazed at Li Mengjie.

Just when everyone thought Li Mengjie would choose Han Mu,

Li Mengjie suddenly walked over to Long Xiaoshan and said indifferently, "I'll ride in your truck."

Everyone was stunned.

Li Mengjie had actually chosen Long Xiaoshan's old pickup as well.

Since when had broken pickup trucks become so popular?

Han Mu's face became even more gloomy.

Even Long Xiaoshan said with some surprise, "You want to ride in my truck?"

"Is that not okay? Is there no room in your truck?" Li Mengjie asked with interest, gazing at Long Xiaoshan, a spark of amusement in her eyes.

"Uh, there's room," Long Xiaoshan responded, puzzled but not overthinking it. If Li Mengjie wanted to ride, then let her.

After the vehicles were chosen, the atmosphere turned somewhat awkward.

Han Mu and Ma Botao had come out to socialize, and yet neither had a female companion.

Both of their faces looked a bit unsightly.

Especially Han Mu.

Watching Long Xiaoshan, a flicker of rage crossed his eyes.

Su Mei also felt awkward, but despite several meaningful glances to Li Mengjie, she got nowhere. With a sigh, Su Mei reflected on Li Mengjie's imperious coldness; even she, the dormitory queen bee, couldn't sway her. As for Chun Tao, she was Long Xiaoshan's official girlfriend; it wouldn't be appropriate for her to encourage Chun Tao to look after another man's reputation.

Su Mei tried to smooth things over, "It's getting late, and I'm so hungry. Let's hurry up and go eat."

"Let's go, let's go eat," Wei Shaocong also patted Han Mu's shoulder, giving him a knowing look.

Suppressing his anger, Han Mu said, "Okay, let's go."

Next, everyone got into their cars.

Long Xiaoshan was with Chun Tao as they boarded the pickup truck, not expecting Li Mengjie to really follow.

Long Xiaoshan opened the rear door, and Li Mengjie, looking at the worn-out back seat and the pickup reeking of smoke, frowned, doubting if she really had been mistaken the night before.

But she had made her choice.

She tiptoed elegantly into the back seat, and upon seeing Li Mengjie get in, Chun Tao also moved to the back seat.

This scene, witnessed by the boys under the dormitory building, left them all choking in shock.

"Am I seeing things? That pure and beautiful transfer student, I could understand her riding in his pickup truck, but Li Mengjie, the ice queen, in his pickup truck too?"
