Chapter 847: 843: What's Missing is Love

Chapter 847: Chapter 843: What’s Missing is Love

The director of the orphanage was seeing the three children from the Lewis household for the first time when he reached out both hands, smiling widely, to receive the bank card.

He assumed there were probably only several tens of thousands or so inside, figuring out in his mind how to distribute the rewards amongst the children.

“On behalf of all the brothers and sisters here, Uncle Director would like to thank you little brothers and sisters! We appreciate your kindness and generosity.”

Timmy has always been very stern and serious. Even though he was not even six years old, he exuded the authority of a little leader.

“Uncle Director, this card’s money has a dedicated use. You must clearly record every penny’s destination, maintaining thorough account books and signed vouchers, which you’ll hand over to Uncle Caroule twice a year.”

The Director was thinking, just several tens of thousands needs to be accounted twice a year?

As he was mulling over how to explain to this young master that this money would be likely spent in one or two go’s, he heard young master continue.

“There’s US$ 273,362 in here. My siblings and I will periodically deposit more money into the account. We hope that the older brothers and sisters can concentrate on their studies, without worrying about tuition.”

The director’s hand shook, blurting out a question.

“US$ 273,362?”

Timmy took it as an expression of it being too little, and earnestly explained,

“Yes, my siblings and I have used most of our money to start a pharmaceutical factory and for investments, and this is just what’s leftover.”

The director was even more astounded, looking at this little child before him, standing not even as tall as his chest, and couldn’t help but sigh.

No wonder the media has praised these three genius children from the Lewis family to the skies, after seeing them in person today, compared to ordinary children, they were indeed more intelligent and mature.

“Thank you for your precious love, young masters and misses. We will assign someone to manage this education fund and report to Assistant Nathan regularly. Do you want to give this fund a name?”

Timmy glanced at his siblings before turning his head to look at mommy, who was chatting with other staff members not far away.

Then he said, “Let’s use my mommy’s name, call it the Richelle Fund.”

The director nodded, “Alright, thank you once again for your love and kindness, providing the children in the orphanage with more and better educational opportunities.”

Timmy, serious as ever, waved his hand.

“Uncle Director, you don’t have to be so polite. This is just a small token from my siblings and me. We also hope that the children in the orphanage can create a better future through their own endeavours.”

Despite the childlike tone in his voice, his attitude and manner bore certain similarities to Roy Lewis.n/ô/vel/b//jn dot c//om

After Timmy handed the bank card to the director, the three siblings, under the guidance of other staff members, went on to play with the children in the orphanage.

Tifanny performed a piano solo for the children, earning warm applause and admiring gazes.

After, the three siblings joined the children in drawing, moulding clay, and playing all sorts of little games without any air of superiority.

When Director, Richelle Dunn and Nathan Caroule finished their serious discussions and returned to see what the children were doing, they found the three Lewis siblings happily playing amongst the children, their faces flushed with excitement and innocence.

“Dr. Dunn, your three children are so outstanding and sensible. Surely, you must have many educational insights.”

Richelle Dunn chuckled, waving her hand dismissively, “I wouldn’t say I have insights. To talk about my educational experiences in front of you would be like showing off my skill with an axe.”

Richelle Dunn knew that education was a very professional matter. Although her three children were exceptions, her educational methods and concepts might not work for the rest of the children in the orphanage.

Because, compared to Timmy and his two siblings, what the children in the orphanage are probably lacking, is not education, but love.
