Read more Nobody would have thought that Lian Qingxue, the most unnoticeable pitiful girl in the class, would transform ten years later, climbing the wealth rankings to become the most beautiful and domineering female CEO in the media. But Qi Yun, the reborn one, knew.Qi Yun, who had returned to his senior year of high school, carried with him an angel investment system. As long as he found a potential target to invest in, he could receive a ten-fold return.Completing random achievements, he could also receive various rewards.“Potential stocks? Is there anyone more promising than Lian Qingxue?”“I just wanted to invest, not looking for a girlfriend!”…Ten years later, a reporter interviewed Qi Yun: “Mr. Qi, now that you are the richest man, do you have any investment tips to share with everyone?”Qi Yun: “To be honest, I’m a freeloader!” Collapse Age Regression, Beautiful Female Lead, Handsome Male Lead, Heartwarming, Male Protagonist, Multiple POV, Reincarnation, Second Chance, System Administrator, Time Travel Firstly, I'll say that this novel is quite short. If we look at each chapter individually, they are very short, and if we combine them into 2000 - 3000 words a chap, we'll be given a novel with 100 Chapters at most. However, just because the novel is short doesn't that it's bad, no, it's quite decent if you ask me.The novel has a simple story, about a guy who has a system that can return every investment by 10 - 5x, in this case, the FL to the story. In the story, we see how this can be seen as a strange thing to the other characters, especially the FL, who is confused due to his massive spending towards her. Unfortunately, the System of the novel is not that touched upon, as due to the short length of the novel it was not that explored deeply, as it just sort of existed in the background, as even I forgot it existed, only I was reminded of its existence when it returns the money the MC invested. Thus, I can say the System doesn't need to be there in the story, as it feels like it exists because the author said so, and we'll be left with no changes to the story, as it is not that touched upon. Just like another OP said in the comments, the author likely intended to make a young master-poor girl type of story but doesn't know how to do it, so instead just utilized the System element. Now, I'm not saying that the System is not that needed to the plot, it still plays a role in the plot, as it sort of justifies the amount of money the MC spends on the FL, and where the said money came from, as the MC's background is Low-Middle Class family.Even though the novel possesses a ton of flaws in the story, it is made up by the type of story it is, it is not meant to be a plot-heavy novel, it is just a high school romance story about two teenagers, as it is a lighthearted story with a decent plot. Thus is a great novel for a casual read, while looking for another good novel to read. It doesn't take itself seriously, and thus a lot of the plot points of the series doesn't make sense, so this novel won't be quite enjoyable to a lot of readers, but may prove worthwhile if you're looking for a casual read, while browsing or waiting for others novels. So I rate this novel a 7.5/10.Now, the novel is not that great if you're not that into this sort of story, so the rate of this, in general, is 6 - 7/10, as it mainly focuses on the two main characters, the ML and FL, so the other characters of the series are mostly outshined, and doesn't have a lot of screen time. Although short it has mostly been an enjoyable read. Even though the novel's ending can't be said to be bad and is a good ending in its own way, I just wish there was more. Maybe a few more side stories? It seems the author's uncertainty about his writing career and a few other factors caused the story to end earlier than planned, but it is still a worthwhile read if you are looking for something light-hearted.All in all what to look for in this novel:- Sweet romance.- straightforward plot.- No Harem- No Braindead charactersThis novel doesn't take itself too seriously and is good for a casual read. So, if you are someone who likes to dig deep into every plot point (like the money source), you probably won't enjoy it. Mind telling me where you managed to read the whole novel friend? I would like to read it to its entirety one day. Even if its MTL. As long as its good MTL. SpoilerSearch the novel name in Google with MTLNATION attached at the endI don't know what your standards are for a good MTL but it's definitely readable. Many thanks Ain't this too sweet !!!😬😬😬 I like sweet but don't y'all think it's a bit too sweet... How awkward is it , when you read this in the bus while grinning and ppls look at you weirdly 😑😑 Waring: Novel has pseudo-paedophilic elements as the mc is a 35 year old reincarnator and the female lead is a high schooler. I’m quite used to as nowdays this is quite common in novels but I’m leaving a warning for my fellow humans. No, no, he's got a point, lads. let bro cook🔥 If mc act like kid they are kid and they can f#ck other kids. If they act as their mental age, they already know their limits...I mean most authors don't even bother to use all this backstory bs and we get just op 0 year kid who can talk and nothing more. They are still blushing on girls, can't communicate properly, can't think clearly, can't use skills they should have as any other adults or job they have in previous life. Like they was read a book and think this book was about their previous life. So gave up and look only physical age, it's make reincarnation genre bearable. Lets not... Give it too much thoughts yea...? This is my first time seeing the word paedophile. 1. “Paedophile” is the British English spelling.2. “Pedophile” is the American English spelling. They have the same meaning and are used interchangeably to describe individuals with troubling attraction towards children. Wait, is British the problem why I sometimes stumble upon different spelled words like color and colour? Yeah. The Webster dictionary has US spellings and the Oxford is British. A long time ago, the US simplified spelling by getting rid of unnecessary letters like u in colour. so the british isn't the problem but American as they simplified it i mean it is specified that she is 18 and he was 35 yo at most and a virginso calling it Paedophillic is a bit stretched it's f#cking weird but TECHNICALLY not pedophilia with regression/transmigration/reincarnation it's basically assumed to happen It also doesn't help that he's taking advantage of her because of his foreknowledge. The "system" is just an excuse the author is adding to this novel to make it less creepy. So, reincarnators should go to women double their physical age for romantic relationship? Hmmm, another second chance novel ehh? I wonder if there is gonna be any actual background info on mc before reincarnation and why since I feel like it is prone to be skipped. What are any views yall have? I think, I have read this somewhere in MTL site...GoooJoin the ranobe discord, link in my profile I think that was the other one in which the MC invested in his future wife first after regressing. Is it same or not? No. I think it is Este fue primero y el otro copio a este What the name? When I Saw The Returns, I Invested In My Future Wife First Thank you Read Rise of the Infinite Sovereign instead Lmao 😂 #MTL Ancestor# here's the mtl https://mtlnation.com/novel/the-goddess-is-still-so-pitiful-she-was-invested-by-me Can you suggest any novel on that website? Oh well I read mostly shenhao mtl so try otherwise fanfic are you sure they aren't the same book?Even the damn plot point of opening a milk tea shop is the same. In another timeline, what you said was probably the truth. Yes, it's the same book , most likely the difference is only in translation. in which casethe first one is better than this It's really goodbut the Marriage arc could have been done more beautifully/wholesome-ly
