The Empyreal Gem Master

Chapter 153 Void Ruler! II

The process was even simpler than the first time.

In the span of three minutes, a brand new Enneagram Clone with the likeness of Alexander was formed.

His hair radiated the same golden brilliance as from the dark hair and dark eyes that he had just days ago, his whole look seemed to have changed to shine gold- to shine just like his first Covenant!

Alexander looked at this clone that shared his thoughts and views as in the next moment, he uttered calmly.

"Go."

He had just gained the capability to traverse over one hundred thousand miles in the span of less than a minute.

He had to use it to understand exactly what grandiose changes had occurred throughout Ephesus!

Put in this endeavor, there was nothing that said he couldn't be extra cautious.

So the Enneagram Clone was sent out.

In the skies, his body became wrapped in a golden radiance of pure light, the Gem Constellation Covenant Stanchion of Light shining brightly above him as he…shot out into the distance!

SAA!

Like a literal flash of light, he shot out.

Even a bit faster than 1% the Speed of Light since this was his Enneagram Clone that could display 150% of the power of the main body!

He could observe anything within the span of one thousand miles, with everything seeming like a blur of light initially, but after the passage of a mere second, he adjusted.

He felt like he was moving so immensely fast that the world around him turned slow.

As if even the particles of Covenant of Nature were moving slower!

And all he had to do…was flitter across the earth and skies of Ephesus like a mere flash of light while observing anything important around him.

Any Sacred Mountains. Any powerful forces. Anything of Relevance to him!n/o/vel/b//in dot c//om

As his clone did this, Alexander's main body also turned into a streak of light as it went back to the Sacred Gold Mountain.

The Covenants of Nature were pristine and seemed like truly sacred things that he loved to explore and understand, but he felt like they would seem a lot duller if he didn't have the people he always knew around him.

The one friend he always had as he grew up.

What did all of his power mean if he continued to understand and assimilate more and more Covenants of Nature, but a distance was growing between those he loved?

He thought of Claire.

She didn't say anything, but he could feel a subtle sort of distance forming between him and her ever since she chose to come under him as a Follower.

When did they last talk like they used to? When were they free to hang out and play games around their Manors like they used to?

Since awakening, all of this had gone away.

He didn't like this.

He was still his old self even amidst these grandiose changes and power, and what he felt like doing now amidst all of these dangers- as his Two Enneagram Clones dealt with these dangers…he felt like he wanted to give time to the things he put aside for the sake of survival!

Very quickly, he approached the Sacred Gold Mountain as he could already feel exactly where Claire was.

She sat on top of tall verdant gold tree, the figures of her father and his father below her along with Azazel as they were sparring to get used to their Nine-Link Gem Sockets.

He looked at her fair skin. Her strands of hair that were now a mixture of black and gold. And her blue eyes that were also stained with gold due to the Covenant he passed down to make her a Ruler.

By all means, she looked utterly breathtaking as he sent her a message through their connection.

[Hey, I wanted to show you something.]

…!

Her eyes opened rapidly as she looked up in surprise, her eyes blinking in confusion as she had just seen him off not too long ago where he had to go deal with something. Had he already finished?

In her confusion, tendrils of blue gold wings erupted behind her as she also rose into the skies.

"What is it? A new finding, or…"

Alexander waved his hands dismissively as he did something he had never done before.

"None of that. I…just wanted to take you out. On a little date. I feel like so many things are happening that we don't get the chance to just talk like before."

…!

"You…!"

His words caused Claire to open her mouth in shock, her mind barely registering what he said as she broke eye contact soon after! Her face turned just a tad bit redder.

A date. A practice much more common before the Breaches and Beasts of Corruption appeared!

She only thought of this briefly before she gathered herself.

After that, she continued staring down as she nodded with a small voice.

"Mmm."

A simple recognition.

Alexander took it as around them, a golden bubble formed that contained just the two of them, and it began to shoot up the skies!

Down below, Branch Leader Axel breathed out heavily as he faced Branch Leader Julius, his tired but excited eyes watching while Alexander disappeared with his daughter as he asked gruffly.

"What is your son doing now?"

He came and went, with a lot of things that occurred around the Mountain being taken care of by him as just recently, the Dragon Rulers he sent out also returned for the task of protection.

Julius shook his head as his body burnt with reddish gold flames.

"You don't worry about the kids too much. Let's go!"

BOOM!

Waves of power erupted out as these leaders sought to regain their power and standing.

Seconds later.

Inside a golden bubble that carried the power of a Void Ruler, it moved close to 2,000 miles every single second.

In the span of just ten seconds, they had already left the atmosphere of Ephesus as Alexander caused the golden bubble to gradually become transparent, Claire looking out and literally seeing their two bodies floating off the world they were always on…and entering outer space!

The void!

Below them, the vast outline of Ephesus gradually became clear as Alexander looked at it and spoke with melancholy.

"Remember when we used to imagine which Gem Masters we would be in the future? Neither of us ever mentioned becoming Tier 9 Emperor Gem Masters, or even thought about anything that is happening right now…"

He recalled the past that seemed so far away, even though it was mere days ago.

At the same time, the golden bubble they were in rapidly expanded, the Covenant of Fire blooming a few meters away as there, a small one-meter portion of a cut-off dragon wing from a Dragon Ruler appeared and began spinning over the flames conjured by the Covenant of Fire.

A date in space to celebrate becoming a Void Ruler.

The entertainment- reminiscing of their past selves compared to where they were now, all while overlooking the landscape of a changing world!

For the food, the rich meat of a Dragon Ruler.

Such a rich outing began as unbeknownst to them, many tens of thousands of miles away, a group of Void Rulers from the Star Alliance were on their way over this direction!
