Chapter 838: Chapter 836-Devil Sees All.



"This...this...."

The tremblings from the words of the ever-calm Tron spoke volumes of how shocked he was right now, a small smile tugging at my lips as I wasn't finished with the surprises.

"Alex, what about that Branica group we talked about?"

"I don't like the name, but yes, its progress is almost over. I have broken those guys to work to my taste... hehe..."

As Alex said this, he forwarded the results of his papers towards Tron, who started to read them with even more shock on his face. Tron was now coming to see Alex in a whole different light as I spoke to Emma.

"Emma, give Tron the list of progress you have made with your little army."

"They are not an army! They are my family!...."

Emma replied with a little bit, but she, in the end, forwarded the paper to Tron, whose eyes almost bulged out from the numbers and beasts he was seeing in front of him. The good thing about having powerful family connections and other connections and a butt load of money is the fact that I can get whatever I want, whenever I want.

They say money can move ghosts to work, and in my case, my money and connections put me in the highest rank, and perhaps most of the good adventurers around put to work to find dangerous or rare beasts around the world that can be used. I had the connection in DarkNight to make my requests a priority.

Then I had near-infinite money in my hands that flowed, keeping all the adventurers happy and willing them forth to go on their hunts, my requests becoming so famous that I kept hearing from Ralph that several powerful adventurers would fight against each other to get the contract. The pay was big enough to make their pockets full, and it wasn't extremely dangerous, too, so it was a win-win.

This soon resulted in a large amount of dangerous, rare, or even exotic animals and beasts quickly moving through the academy, which ended up in the hands of Emma, one of the greatest beast tamers, at least she will rise to it, and it was more of a challenge to her and a way to pay me back for all the trust I am giving her.

Thus, Emma worked herself to the bone, made sure to make herself stronger, and always met my expectations as she made sure to bring all the beasts into her control, into her family, and now into her kingdom. Plus, it also helped that I gave her some artefacts and stuff, which made the job a bit easier for her.

"Good job."

It's only two words, but it bloomed the biggest smile on the face of Emma as she giggled with happiness radiating from her. My gaze still focused on the shocked Tron, one who is slowly starting to understand just how much power is slowly hidden within this normal-looking faction that seemingly rose later than all else.

My back relaxed against the chair; my gaze steeled and powerful as I now spoke to Rina.

"Give Tron the list of the changes you have made with the serum."

My words made Rina flinch, a haughty yet animalistic smile coming to her face as she took out some poorly done paperwork, though it was paperwork nonetheless as she forwarded it towards Tron, who took it up with shaking hands, due to still trying to calm his heart down as the words of Rina filled the place.

"Just as you said, the serum worked its wonders, giving them all the boost. Those once called the useless beastmen of the lot are now with powers far beyond touch, just like how we were made to be but without our suffering."

Rina took a small pause as she said this, her gaze lingering on me, after which she started to speak.

"With its help and the members sworn in with controlled legacy and loyalty, they have all shown improvements. They will be the underdogs, no doubt, but when they fight, they will change the world on how everything works. The serum did its wonders."n/ô/vel/b//jn dot c//om

Rina spoke, but I shook my head at those words as I replied.

"It's not just the serum, the will you placed on them from the ability you got at the realm back there is the main reason they survived this and the main reason we will know their mouths will stay shut. They are the result of your work and your leadership. Good job, I always knew you would be a great leader."

My words made Rina's rabbit ears perk up as they swayed left and right.

"Yeah... yeah..."

Is all she replied as she turned her head sideways, a small smile coming to her face. The truth of it is that when I rescued Rina, I also took from the lab after destroying it the serum. It's strange to have a small story of chasing after it within the game, it being an arc in a sense, but I destroyed that and took the serum for myself.

But of course, the serum, in truth, is completely useless and is destroyed in the game since it only ever worked in Rina, and for Sana, that's a whole other case. Of course, such OP species power-rank-breaking serum is a dud that only worked based on the genetic flow and control and blessing of Rina.

But I found a way to make it work, courtesy of the info from the system. I found the legacy or ability in the fallen realm, one that made it useful for Rina, an ability that gave Rina the way to access and grant that special constitution of hers to another. You can take it as the ability of vampires to turn another into a vampire, though that's not how vampires work in this world. Anyhow, the truth is that Rina can 'knight' a person with her abilities, a special quick constitution ability of hers, into another, a small network forming with it, which will allow for the serum to work. It also forms very powerful connections that place them fully under the control of Rina, who can take it all away and end their life.

From there, it wasn't hard to find the students here on scholarships, without any proper backing and ones that want to get stronger. Beastmen like Rina, who doesn't have the constitution built for battle, suffer in the place. And once you get them right and give them the power, they will never be able to be taken away from this power.

Rina is indeed hard-headed and only looks out for herself, but beyond that, I saw that she could be an amazing leader. She acts all dumb and straightforward, but that is just the style she learned to lower your guard against her because once it's done, then you are at her mercy to be played around with, and boy, does she have a sadistic streak.

"Monsters....."

Is what Tron spoke with a fearful tone as he took a seat in his chair, though it's more accurate to say the fact that his legs gave in and he fell into the chair in shock. His same reaction is followed by Nihil as he reads through the paper, his eyes trembling and his face pale when he gets to know about the dangers of the ones around him.

All this time, he had a small superiority in him beyond the ones gathered here, as if their

quality didn't meet him. And now it's shattered, I could see the trembling eyes of Tron looking around the room, sweat tumbling down his temples. I am sure he sees the monsters hiding behind all their good-looking faces.

As I said before, their talent in a single fight, the blessings they have, or any of the other shit and power level hasn't reached the situation where they can go toe to toe with the top students from the greatest place, but in no way in hell will they go down without a fight, especially without taking an arm or leg of their opponent with them.

When I chose them, I hadn't done it seeing their short-term value but seeing their long-term values. Some of them here are villains, some of them here are heroines, some of them support characters, and many more exist out there, which were 'unlocked' when you play the game, but among them, I chose the ones around me to be with me.

It was a decision I took after constant deliberation and planning, an action done after I was sure I would be able to handle it all, taking the best I will be able to 'raise' to reach the top of the world, and now Tron is seeing firsthand the devils and monsters hidden behind the mortal

skin he so subtly looked down on.

"What happened, Tron, cat got your tongue?"

I asked, making him flinch, the dude's eyes trailing around while the hold on the papers trembled a bit because what I gave him, what I showed him, weren't small-level power things that could affect just the academy. If played right, the ones sitting in this room, the ones that can create all these, will go forth to change the whole wide world.

And all of these monsters have sworn their full loyalty towards one person. It was as if I could

read his mind as Tron's trembling gaze settled on me. I leaned safely against the chair, my hands on the handle, a relaxed smile on my face, the rest of the members that followed me first smiling devilishly.

The shadows behind them seemingly twisted and turned in the eyes of Tron as it all came to swirl behind me, soon forming the scene of the devil resting, my shadows forming horns of the devil said as the greatest evils that see everything untouched in the world, a chuckle leaving my mouth, sounding as the devil's call in Tron's ears.

Gulp...
