"Your Majesty," The dignified man said in a deep respectful voice.

Queen Retina was taken aback, her intense gazed reduced as she sighed. This man is her father and he is acting weirdly just because she owns the city.

She wished he would just act normal and drop this antics. The Scarlet Queen sighed, feeling a deep weight on her neck before she looked at her father again.

"Seth Enoch has helped me greatly in many ways. Why didn't you remove those traits from his blood." she asked.

"Because he is corrupt!" The Red Valley Chief stood well and looked at her. He regretted nothing.

"He isn't with the rebels. He was manipulated and against his decisions just like you!" She said.

"It doesn't matter. The matter is his corruption. That sister of you has already blessed him and that sealed his fate!"

"First she is not my sister. Second Seth is very strong, he may fall for it numerous times but he would outgrow it. I watched it before!"

The Valley Chief sighed as he sauntered around watching the wall of the palace. He was extremely happy when he found that his daughter has attained this place and he will do everything in his power to help her grow to realize her true potential.

"Corruption is not something you can outgrow. Well, the name corruption was even deceiving but it is what it is. He is marked, if you are the one that blessed him, he would have been safe."

"Was it from Soul Father, the corruption you always talk about?" She asked.

"Well, in a way. The Red Eye Race or Retina Race wasn't actually new. There was a powerful civilization out there. Our ancestors fought them and survived before they settled here but then they were cursed with the ghost and all."

This was the first time she was hearing this.

"We weren't meant to be killed but suffer unending terror. But, we are already powerful and so we did the unthinkable and cast the most powerful bait with centuries of scheme to entice Red Ancient to settle with us. We succeeded but things got worse as the curse increased with his presence but nonetheless, we thrive."

The man said with a sigh.

"Our ancestors are really insane. They just did that to send a middle finger to their enemies. I don't know how long it has been but no one was able to make the Red Ancient move location. He is content to sleep here until the end of the world!" The dignified man added

"I appreciate the history but that didn't say anything about Seth. Even if his red has a tainted source, can't you do something about it?"

"Please father. Just turned it down. Seth is strong and we may need him in the future!" She pleaded.

"Your Majesty, I would like your permission to go and bring more people to you!" The man just changed the subject.

The girl was perplexed on how to deal with this man. In terms of brute force and power, she is a thousand times greater than him.

However, the experience was different. He was a master of every skill and ability he had.

She has no doubt that he has a way to take control of her river and use it against her.

A deep sigh escaped the middle aged man before he said,

"What I gave him is dangerous, even I have a hard time controlling it and if he can subdue it, then the red corruption can be resisted for a longer time."

He looked up to her and said, "He lacked a proper weapon, I gave him a weapon!"

A chill ran down her spine, she knew for sure that anything that her father referred to as dangerous and a weapon meant it was indeed not something to take lightly.

"The day he succumbed to the corruption, that will be the day the weapon will kill him. Immortal or not he will die!" He said with certainty.

She took a deep breath and listened to the silence that came after the first explosions.

The only thing moving and seemed alive was the floating moon creature. Its eyes darted around looking at the red covered mist.

About ten meters from the explosion was Seth in a weird position. That was to the west of Gawee.

To the east, about 100 meters away was the ravaged body of both Invisible Hand and Techman. They have the weakest constitution and their defense skills were low.

They seemed to have been crushed by a powerful force but because of their armour their body was intact.

A little distant from them was Magic Binder inside a sphere, he was unscathed, after his death mysteriously, he has activated an occasional device to defend him against any hidden attack.

Martial Master Almight took the force with his body, he was able to deploy Dust Armour but because it hadn't stabilized well the protection was minimal and his body took the rest.

He survived, he was barely standing, his hands crossed before his face. His armour just like the rest was battered and he was bleeding. However, his heart beat strongly.

Shema was nowhere to be seen around.

Chaos Beast was above the floating moon creature, he wasn't unscathed but he was in his beast form and was healing. His eyes, though, were unfocused as if he would lose consciousness the next moment.

About 200 meters away from them was a man, still standing, his body shimmering with energy and his Zweihänder hand glowing red.

Beside him was Blast Hand, he and Magic Binder were the only one that had zero injury.

"Damn it. His blood just exploded!" Captain Navy cursed. His expression was dark as he gazed at the center of the explosion.

"If he died our efforts and resources used are meaningless!" He added with anger.

"He is still alive. I just saw his body twitching. But the remnants of the explosion still lingers that why I didn't get close" A dragon dragged his blooded body from their shadow before he transformed into a smaller one with green scales.

"Its a suicidal explosion. If you go close to him he will explode!" Blast Hand said. He then looked at his hand, he can't summon cannon or gun now. He has to used his hand again.

Captain Navy frowned as he turned off the Energy, he pulled out a pill and swallowed it. His body began to heal.

"If only the chaos beast had matured enough things would have been simple. Call him to resurrect Shema"

The captain said.

Shema was the reason they survived. The moment the explosion was about to go on he used his super flex and ignited his armour's energy and stepped ahead of everyone with his sword and slashed at the explosion.

Captain Navy that was the closest was already blasted back, which Shema did reduce the initial impact for Chaos Beast to escape, as he was the fastest in a way.

The rest of the team all used what they could at the short time bought before it reached them.

That was why only three people died.

"Let us recover fast!" Blast Hand said. He was able to survive on his own by detonating his hand to counter attacks as he has blast abilities.

Seth's right hand was set in a weird angle, his legs were folded, the other hand was burnt and his face was burnt red too.

His eyes fluttered despite his neck being completely severed. An onlooker will see it wasn't attached to his neck at all but by a thin vein. He was still bleeding out, his blood unending.

Beneath the ragged armour, his veins were waning but Blood Aura Flower Pathways were pulsing with light.

Suddenly, the only vein that connected Seth's neck and his body wiggled, upon closer observation one can see it wasn't a vein but a long worm.

The Intangible Tangibility Worm was the only thing that kept him alive.

If he was awake he would have seen that. However, his condition will not stay for long as his body will lose all its blood and is already losing oxygen.

The worm pulse with minor light that covered Seth's body and from his pocket a half dead spider crawled out with an induced intuition.

It began to use silk to suture the neck, even though it wasn't connected. It tried hard to pull the strings and make the neck attached but failed. Both the spider and the worm aren't strong enough.

That was when a silhouette walked toward them.
