The three from Ye Kong immediately tensed up, their expressions turning to one of horror as they looked towards that figure, indeed seeing Tian Xun, with his lithe figure, standing in front of Lin Shen.

It shocked her to her core that Tian Xun had used force against the Purple Star Ritual Robe and still managed to come out alive.

Whether Tian Xun had tamed the Purple Star Ritual Robe or had safely escaped after its activation, both scenarios proved that Tian Xun possessed incomparable abilities.

As if having a telepathic connection, the three from Ye Kong simultaneously launched their Sonic Wave Power from their Life Bases, attempting to use the combined Power of Sound Domain to suppress Tian Xun.

The sound domain formed by the trio's drums, guqin, and bass, together with the song they sang, merged various sound waves into one, resembling a deafening rock concert, instantly causing a tingling sensation in the scalp.

Of course, Lin Shen felt a tingling sensation because his body was sufficiently strong; if it had been someone weaker, not just their scalp, their head would probably have burst open by now.

"Chi 118 and another Celestial, I don't know if it's the one you call Chi 96, have been killed by us," Ye Kong knew that in Tian Xun's hands, they didn't have even the right to refuse to speak; better to speak voluntarily than to be coerced by Tian Xun.

Lin Shen was greatly surprised upon hearing this, for these were strong members of the Chi Family ranked around a hundred. The fact that Ye Kong and her two companions could kill them indicated that their strength was commendable.

"Tian Xun, what do you plan to do with us?" Ye Kong inquired.

"Why do you think I won't kill you?" Tian Xun asked with interest as he looked at Ye Kong.

"With so many from the three families turned into Hybrid Night Ghosts, it won't be easy to recruit anew, only we can control them," Ye Kong spoke.

"So, you wish to pledge allegiance to me?" Tian Xun said with a smile as he looked at Ye Kong.

Ye Kong spoke earnestly, "We've been in hiding for so many years. If we just die like this, the Night Ghost Tribe will come to an end. So, we do not wish to die. Give us a chance, and we are willing to swear loyalty to you."

"Swearing an oath is pointless, as it's not up to me to decide what to do with you; that has to be reported to the Celestial Court and await their commands," Tian Xun said indifferently. "However, if you wish to follow me, there might still be a chance for redemption after the decision from the Celestial Court comes through."

"We swear to follow unto death, Lord. Rest assured, we know what should be said and what should not. We will never reveal a word related to the Utmost Darkness Domain," Ye Kong promptly replied.

Tian Xun did not give a clear response, simply instructing Lin Shen to release their acupuncture points and allow them to move freely, seemingly unafraid they would try to escape.

"Indeed, I was not successful," Tian Xun admitted without avoiding the topic of failure.

"That the Lord could come back in one piece is already beyond astounding to us," Ye Kong pointed to some items within the backpack and explained, "These were found on those from the Chi 118, and I only know that these two items may be related to taming the Sacrificial Robe.

We have not passed through all the trial domains, so we have no idea whether the other items have anything to do with taming the robe."

"There is plenty of time to try them out slowly," Tian Xun instructed Lin Shen to collect all the items before they once again ascended to the mountaintop and returned before the Purple Star Ritual Robe.

The Purple Star Ritual Robe had returned to its previous state of being suspended in the air, as if nothing had happened.

Tian Xun had Ye Kong and the others try out various items one by one, but it seemed none of them worked.

It could be because the items they held required specific incantations which they did not possess, therefore, they were unable to utilize them.

"It seems we can only learn how to use these items by going through the trials," Tian Xun had no choice but to give up on the idea of taming the Sacrificial Robe that day.

"Are these Sacrificial Robes artificially created objects or naturally occurring creatures?" Lin Shen curiously observed the robe.

"The Little Wine Emperor only said that they are mutant Nirvana Creatures. Whether they are artificially made or naturally occurring is unknown," Ye Kong tried once more and still could not move the Purple Star Ritual Robe an inch, and so she walked back."

"Must one be at Nirvana Level to tame a Sacrificial Robe? Can't someone at Ascension Level do it?" Lin Shen pondered.

"There's no rule stating that, but if Nirvana Level can't do it, the chances are even slimmer for someone at Ascension Level," Ye Kong said.

"Let me give it a try, who knows, it might work." Lin Shen had been eager to test it and walked towards the Purple Star Ritual Robe.

This Purple Star Ritual Robe reminded him of a myth widely known on his home planet.

There was a divine sword stuck in a stone, and legend had it that only the true Chosen One could pull it out; otherwise, even a deity would fail to extricate the sword from the stone.
