Single Wish: Rise Of The Omniscient Paragon

Chapter 374 373: Oh, No

374  373: Oh, No

After hearing about the staggering and shocking number of organizations that were going to participate in the Battle of Chosens, the minivan was filled with a solemn atmosphere and a tinge of anxiety.

In the Underworld, their group was one of the strongest and the number of people or groups they were afraid of, was extremely small compared to the entire population of the Underworld.

However, for the Battle of Chosen that was about to occur, they were absolutely sure that they would not be among the topdogs, but among the underdogs.

They were going to face people from organizations which were not only powerful, but were also unfathomable to them since most of them were from outside their planet.

They were going to face people who were most likely showered by countless resources, skills, knowledge, and teachings to actually become worthy of the title- "Chosen".

Whenever the group thought about how big of an advantage the Chosens had, and also how the odds were stacked against them, they could not help but become nervous.

They could not help but curse every single Outside Organization that chose to involve themselves with their planet. They could also not help but wonder why there so many organizations that chose to partake in the Battle of Chosen.

Unfortunately, no matter how hard they racked their brain, they were not able to come up with a suitable reason for the presence of the Outside Organization.

None of them knew about Blessed Worlds or what the actual purpose of the Underworld actually was.

Although Fatty Black Bonez, Rosa, Melissa, Dave, and Triple X already knew that there were beings and organizations that lived outside their world due to their interaction with Divine, Kiefer and Selena never knew about such a thing.

Both Kiefer and Selena were born in the Underworld, so to the two of them, the Underworld was their home and they did not even know how the outside world was meant to look like, talk less of the Universe which was outside their world.

The two of them were merely intrigued by the prospect of the outside world and the Universe which was outside their world.

Although the group were afraid and worried about the Battle of Chosens, they knew they just had to do their best to survive.

Hopefully for them, the format of the Battle of Chosens would be favorable to them.

The group eventually entered the Amphitheatre, and the group noticed something extremely different about the Amphitheatre.

"Why does the Amphitheatre seem bigger?" Fatty Black Bonez asked while looking around with a puzzled expression.

The Amphitheatre looked the same, the chairs had not changed, the design had not changed, however, Fatty Black Bonez and the remaining members of the group knew that there was a change in the Amphitheatre.

And they were not talking about the gigantic black cube that was hovering above the Amphitheatre. No, they were not.

"That's because the Amphitheatre has actually changed…" Divine replied with a slightly solemn expression, "... The space in the Amphitheatre has become bigger."

"If you don't take note of it, you wouldn't notice. However, the Amphitheatre is covered in several arrays and formations that has expanded the space in between the seats, and also provided more seats."

"To those whose affinity with space is low, they would barely notice this change, and would think that the Amphitheatre was somewhat able to accommodate all the Underworld residents in this place."

Fatty Black Bonez and the remaining members of the group had expressions of realization, and some could not help but exclaim in awe.

"That sounds cool."

Kiefer exclaimed, and Divine chuckled, "It is."

"Now, let's go to our seats." Divine gave a brief glance at the large black cube in the sky of the Amphitheatre, and then his gaze shifted to the almost packed seats in the Amphitheatre.

The group walked down the Amphitheatre, and when they reached the lower end of the middle tier of the seats, they found the seats that were reserved and took their seats.

As the group sat, they could not help but become slightly tense and nervous. Compared to the majority of the Underworld residents, they already had some information on the organizations they were going to face.

Meanwhile, most of the Underworld residents around them were filled with excitement and joy. To them, if they performed very well and survived, they could become free.

However, a few were nervous and anxious due to the high stakes that was involved with the Battle of Chosens.

After what seemed like an eternity but was actually, fifteen minutes, a change occurred in the Amphitheatre.

The noise in the Amphitheatre instantly vanished as everybody could sense multiple powerful beings in the Amphitheatre.

Corey could also perceive the change in the atmosphere, and how it seemed like the pressure in the Amphitheatre had increased. He could perceive the disturbance and introduction of several strange enegies in the air.

Corey's gaze shifted, and he looked at the sandy arena of the Amphitheatre which had parted open to reveal a bottomless abyss.

A few seconds later, Corey's brows furrowed slightly.

The pressure in the Amphitheatre had increased once again, and Corey knew that the pressure was going to be difficult for tier 1s and weak tier 2s to breath and move.

Corey stared at Kiefer, and just as he expected, he saw Kiefer's eyes almost rolling to the back of his head.

Fortunately for him and Kiefer, Kiefer was sitting to his right, and Divine was seating to his left.

He grabbed Kiefer's hand, and then he released his mana and enveloped Kiefer with his mana. When he saw Kiefer's expression ease, Corey released a breath of relief. However, in the next second, his expression stiffened.

He could perceive a gaze on him.

Corey's expression became emotionless, and then he turned and looked at the arena of the Amphitheatre which was the source of the increased pressure in the Amphitheatre.

In the arena of the Amphitheatre were multiple beings, various species, and several races, and each of these beings emitted mystic energy.

When Corey did a quick estimate of the number of  Mystic Beings in the arena, his heart instantly turned cold.

They were more than a hundred.

There were a hundred mystic beings a few meters in front of him. Corey had never seen so many mystic beings gathered in one place before.

"Those are the guardians, protectors, elders, advisors, etc., who are here to protect the Chosens."

Divine's voice drifted into Corey's ears, and Corey glanced at him before shifting his gaze back to the over a hundred Mystic Beings.

"I wonder where the Chosens are though." Divine mumbled softly, but Corey's Ears of Omniscience heard him as clear as day.

Corey watched as the Mystic Beings moved and occupied all the first seats in the low tier of the seats.

A few seconds after the Mystic Beings occupied their seats, a massive hologram appeared above the arena.

And on the hologram was the image of The Clown smiling widely.

{Anybody miss me?} n/ô/vel/b//jn dot c//om

"Oh no."

Corey heard Divine exclaim softly, and he surprisingly felt the same as Divine.

'What madness does The Clown have in store for us now?'
