She Belongs To The Devil

Chapter 698 The Two

Kenneth looked Damien straight into his grey eyes. He then shifted his gaze to Damien's lips. And the sight of that lips made him enraged from his core.

The feeling that he had gotten when he had stood outside Ariel's door and had heard her moan returned again. He wanted to sink his fangs and claws into Damien for getting in between him and the woman he loved.

He protruded his poisonous fangs and claws and was ready to go for the attack. And he ran towards Damien at the top of his speed.

Damien instantly flicked his palms open. The intense red aura that was lingering around Kenneth began to enter Damien's body as if they were being sucked by a huge magnet.

Kenneth suddenly slowed down halfway. His mind and heart felt so calm and peaceful all of a sudden that he got confused. He suddenly felt as if there was no need to fight Damien at all. For a second, he didn't even understand why he was mad at Damien in the first place.

He glanced at Damien.

Damien was closing his eyes and then slowly rotating his neck. And he craned his neck and let out a pleasured moan as if he had just had something very intoxicating.Nôv(el)B\\jnn

"What the hell is he doing?" Kenneth knitted his brows and thought to himself.

Damien then opened his eyes and looked at Kenneth.

Kenneth saw his eyes glowing red for a second, and the glow vanished again.

Damien then said with a smile, "Thanks! Do you still want to fight me, or shall we now call it a day?"

Kenneth snarled, "We haven't even fought yet!"

And without losing a second, Kenneth closed the gap between him and Damien.

"So be it," Damien calmly stood like a wall and waited for Kenneth to strike him.

Kenneth bare his claws and aimed for Damien's heart without any hesitance. He wanted to directly dig his claws into Damien's heart and poison it. That would be a very effective method to have his werewolf toxin circulate all over Damien's body rather than leave the toxin on the outer parts of the body and wait for it to spread all around.

However, before Kenneth's claws could be anywhere near Damien's chest, Damien teleported to the place where Kenneth was standing at the beginning of the duel.

Kenneth was trying to dig into Damien's chest with such a great force that when Damien wasn't there to bear the force, Kenneth couldn't control his arm movement. And he ended up slipping down and collapsing to the ground.

Kenneth instantly jumped back to his feet. He looked around and saw Damien standing behind him.

Rather than angry, he felt irritated that Damien used such a cheap trick instead of fighting like a man. He snarled and then ran towards Damien again.

This time, he ran with the intention to grab Damien first. And then he thought of either puncturing his chest or biting his neck.

Kenneth even got hold of Damien's vest this time.

However, this time as well, Damien slapped away Kenneth's hand from him and then teleported a little further away from Kenneth.

Kenneth turned to face Damien again and then shouted in anger and irritation, "Don't keep on teleporting away, you trickster! If you have any shame then don't use such a trick and fight like a man."

"Are you sure?" Damien asked in a monotone. And he tried to scare Kenneth by intimidating him, "Don't be so overconfident. You might be a hybrid. But I am superior to you. I am a demon, remember?"

But Kenneth didn't care. He wanted to at least land a solid punch on Damien even if he would be beaten to a pulp by that demon later.

So Kenneth confidently shouted, "I am sure, you demon! Fight me without dodging me. And fight me without using your tricks. Else, you are nothing more than a coward if you can't even fight an inferior hybrid like me without the help of your demonic magic."

Damien sighed in frustration. "Why do you have to be so stubborn?" he mumbled.

Kenneth didn't care about answering Damien or giving him time to think. He simply rushed in again. This time, he had retracted the claws of his right hand so that he could punch Damien in the face.

Damien wanted to avoid Kenneth until he was tired. And then he was going to make Kenneth give up fighting on his own.

However, Kenneth had questioned Damien's pride. So he didn't feel like letting Kenneth off the hook without even touching him. And he resolutely thought to himself, "He deserves a punch or two. I have the right to get as mad at him as he is at me."

So when Kenneth stopped in front of Damien and aimed his punch, Damien easily caught Kenneth's fist, twisted it without breaking, and threw a punch on Kenneth's gut while withholding more than half of his power.

Kenneth grimaced in pain. However, unlike what Damien had thought, that punch didn't affect Kenneth that much. He could withstand that much power with ease.

Kenneth then dug the claws of his left hand into Damien's chest while Damien was still distracted. He was waiting to see if Kenneth had been hurt badly. But that became his mistake since Kenneth's poisonous claws had pierced his chest.

"Arghh!" Damien grabbed Kenneth's wrist and winced in pain.

And in an instant, as a default retaliation, Damien unintentionally released toxic smoke from his body.

As he was attacked by the werewolf claws, his body released the smoke that was toxic to the werewolves.

After all these years, the toxicity of Damien's smoke had become more potent than when he was a child. The smoke covered the fighting arena in a matter of a few seconds.

And the two werewolves began to cough violently. They were having difficulty in breathing.

Niylah grabbed her neck and collapsed to the ground while violently coughing. Her eyes were filled with tears. And it looked like she was going to choke if something wasn't done sooner.

Kenneth was also in a similar condition. He was gasping for air but the air that he breathed was poisoning his body even more.

"Oh no!" Damien glanced at Kenneth in panic.
