Chapter 149: Chapter 149: Abigail Green, why are you so vicious?
An old pair of lovebirds, after a moment of tender affection and heartfelt confessions, held hands and left the hotel’s side hall. They descended to the much-anticipated engagement venue downstairs to be admired by all, leaving the battleground to the next wave.
Abigail Green pushed open the door, meeting Mona Wilde’s eyes.
Before she could react, Mona slapped her.
“Ah, Abigail…” A pretentious female voice instantly drew everyone’s attention. n/ô/vel/b//jn dot c//om
Abigail stepped aside, dodging Mona’s slap. She glanced at Ruby Green, also dressed in a wedding gown and looking as lovely as a fairy, and curled her lips sarcastically.
“Abigail Green, how can you be so vicious?” Mona, surprised to miss her slap, accused her, pointing at Abigail.
Abigail felt the eyes of those around her gathering on her. She looked at Mona, who seemed as furious as someone catching an adulterer. “Oh, how am I vicious?”
“You… you…” Before finishing her sentence, Mona suddenly started sobbing.
Seeing this, the girl next to Mona became even more indignant and pointed at Abigail. “You fat bitch, still pretending? Are you the one who leaked my sister and Master Stone’s video? You’re already getting engaged to Master Stone. Why do such a vile thing? Do you want to ruin my sister?”
Abigail thought for a moment before suddenly realizing, “Oh, you mean that video of Miss Wilde and Master Stone, fornicating?”
Mona’s body trembled. She looked at Abigail fiercely. If her previous reaction was an act, hearing Abigail openly mention the video’s content made her shame feel more genuine, bringing tears to her eyes.
Monica Wilde, taken aback by Abigail’s attitude, immediately shouted angrily, “Did you see that, sisters? This fat bitch not only stole my sister’s boyfriend but also is shameless enough to say all this. Absolutely disgraceful.”
Abigail then noticed that Monica was holding a selfie stick, livestreaming the whole scene. She furrowed her brows, “Move.”
She had arranged with Kelly to check on Teddy every two hours.
“What? Feeling guilty? Or afraid you’ll scare my sister’s fans with your ugliness?” Monica taunted, deliberately turning the phone to face Abigail.
The screen of Mona’s livestream instantly exploded.
Abigail glanced and spotted a few of the most conspicuous comments.
“Damn, if you didn’t say that’s the bride, I’d think it was the village’s fat pig!!”
“Ugly people really do cause more trouble!”
“I pity the groom’s psychological trauma!”
“Poor Lily, hug.”
“How can she even be a home-wrecker…”
“My ugliness is none of your business,” Abigail replied coolly, withdrawing her gaze.
Hearing this, Monica continued pushing her phone in Abigail’s face, “You see that? She really is shameless!”
The screen was flooded again with a wave of critical comments about Abigail’s appearance, body, and morals, mixed with various insults.
Mona, standing by the screen, looked smug. Ruby, who had just been defending Abigail, secretly instructed her people to buy hot search results for Mona.
Today, she wanted Abigail Green to make a complete fool of herself and utterly destroy her reputation.
Abigail, seeing the phone nearly pressed to her face, stepped back amusedly. “Mona was fucking my fiancé in a hotel late at night and didn’t call herself shameless. I say it’s none of your business and I’m the one who’s shameless. Don’t hold others to saintly standards while indulging yourself with a bitch’s.”
At this, Abigail lifted her gaze, glanced at the phone screen, and slowly added, “That’s not right.”
The entire screen suddenly went silent as if frozen.
Mona and Monica’s faces changed color simultaneously.
