Chapter 132 - 132 She is a devil!
Chapter 132: Chapter 132 She is a devil!
Thompson Taylor was five foot nine, a former boxing champion. His entire body broke out in a cold sweat from the first needle. Everyone guessed it was painful. But it wasn’t until the second needle, when they heard Thompson’s ghostly wails, that they truly realized something. The others looked at Abigail with changed expressions.
Only Abigail continued to stare at Thompson, her voice devoid of any emotion. “Are you going to talk?”
Teddy was now her Achilles’ heel. Thompson should never have, under any circumstances, threatened her using Teddy.
“Ahh… It was Chloe Winifred. I kidnapped her family. As soon as the Young Master dies, she will harm Teddy. But I can’t reach her now! So I don’t know where the child is… ah…”
Thompson yelled out in one breath. Abigail pulled out the needle. He knelt on the ground, gasping for air, sweat rolling down his forehead, his clothes soaked halfway through.
Abigail held the needle, her face pale. Chloe Winifred was Kelly, Teddy’s nanny.
How could it be Kelly?
If it had been someone else, she might have forced herself to believe Teddy might still be okay. But Kelly was different. Other than her, Teddy depended on Kelly the most.
How could it be Kelly?
Abigail’s plump body swayed lightly. She looked at Thompson, still struggling on the ground. “You’re lying to me, aren’t you?”
“I… no.” Thompson had lost all his previous arrogance. Just a moment ago, it felt as if his head had been squeezed by a ghostly hand, tightening continuously, as if his whole head was about to explode. The pain drove him to despair. He clearly felt he was on the edge of death. Even when he fought life-and-death battles in the boxing ring, he had never been this terrified.
Several of his buddies, seeing Thompson’s miserable state, suddenly felt relieved that the fat woman had only paralyzed them.
Noel Roberts looked into Abigail’s out-of-control eyes with some curiosity. Even if she had been a nanny for Teddy for over two months, it wasn’t enough reason to go this crazy for someone else’s child, was it?
It was almost as if she were Teddy’s mother.
Abigail looked into Thompson’s fearful eyes, then turned to meet Noel’s curious gaze. “Young Master Roberts, could you please help me search all of Gills City for any trace of Chloe Winifred? As for the reward, you can ask Brandon Piers for it.”
Noel raised an eyebrow. “There’s no need for that much trouble. Second Master Brandon’s men took Teddy away. They should know Chloe’s whereabouts.”
“But he…”
“He already woke up on my way over.” Even Noel felt it was a miracle. Jeffrey Foster had been taken away, and there wasn’t a single doctor in the lab, yet that boy had managed to survive. It was incredible.
Abigail was stunned and quickly dialed Pullan. “Pullan, can your master speak? Where was Teddy taken?” n/ô/vel/b//in dot c//om
Pullan quickly asked Brandon and reported back with an airport’s name.
Abigail bit her lip. “Did Kelly go with them?”
“Of course. What would Teddy eat otherwise?” Pullan didn’t think much of it.
But Abigail’s heart sank further with each word.
Thompson, who was kneeling on the ground, turned ashen when he heard Brandon had woken up. But when he heard Chloe had taken Teddy, madness filled his eyes. Brandon couldn’t hold on for long. Once he died, George Piers would surely die as well. Thinking of this, Thompson laughed in satisfaction.
But his face was ghastly pale, as if he had just been through a hellish ordeal.
Abigail gripped her phone and looked at Noel. “Young Master Roberts, may I borrow a car?”
“I’ll go with you,” Noel said, not daring to delay, fearing Kelly would indeed harm the child. “You guys, take him to the police station.”
Abigail didn’t have time to thank him and rushed out.
But halfway there, she suddenly stopped, turned, and looked at the still sweating Thompson. “If anything happens to Teddy, I will make you wish you were dead.”
The gloating Thompson couldn’t control his body from trembling. His eyes were filled with hatred and fear towards Abigail. This fat woman was a devil. She was a devil!
