Chapter 2159 The Negotiation
Parashurama was speechless to the point that he could not rebut against Jin. It was a resounding defeat through overwhelming power but he did have fun for the longest time ever. Surely, he got fed up with the Water Clones but when he had clashed steel with them, they could withstand his attacks.
It had been a while since he had fought to the fullest and utilise his strength however he wanted without setting or restraining his controls. The only time he did that was when he clashed with the demons.
That was also sadly the reason for this particular world's possible demise. The demons filled it up, killing the humans and other inhabitants in it and allowing the Celestials to fight. The System had extracted this information from Lord Vishnu and subsequently through Parashurama and Kalki.
This was one of the worlds the Demonic Planes and Celestial Planes had negotiated in order to allow a "Ravaging' event to occur so that their Celestials and Demons have a fair share of 'fun' in the name of cleansing and justice.n/o/vel/b//in dot c//om
This was the downside to their powers and their desires manifested according to the sins and virtues each of their societies preached. It boiled down to 'friendly' matches at the expense of the beings inhabiting this world. Even one believed that it was evil for them to do so, humans had also been doing the same just that they were doing it at a smaller scale since it was criminal to do so openly.
Just that the inhabitants they destroyed sometimes did not have a mouth to talk back.
Thus, Parashurama was quiet after this particular game of dungeon instance and he left it to Kalki to handle since he learned that negotiations were not his strong suit. Kalki was in a similar position as Parashurama but obviously, she had done more of such 'business' transactions than Parashurama so she naturally took the helm to lead the conversation.
"I see potential in this endeavour. Both my colleague and I can see where you are going, and what kind of sacrifices you are willing to make to show your powers but the fact that you killed my comrades, will not borne well with the rest of the Dashavataras." Kalki said and Jin smiled as he got information from the System as they were stuck in the dungeon instance with Kraft.
"You might have forgotten it since it had been days for us but weeks for you within the dungeon instance. I am willing to compensate for the death of your comrades by resurrecting them again the moment this deal had been struck."
"By that horrible necromancer that is standing right beside you? No thanks. That is a life that I do not wish my friends to suffer." Parashurama spoke out and Kraft did not feel attacked. In fact, he felt elated that the Celestial Avenger felt that way.
"No, not by this horrible necromancer. I have a Celestial Entity that can assist in resurrecting those friends of yours. Of course, I am unable to reveal this Celestial Entity but I assure you that they will not suffer nor would be controlled by us." Jin said and Parashurama did not feel assured by those words.
Kalki understood those feelings and attempted to shift the tides of the negotiations to her control.
"If you cannot reveal the Celestial Entity then we are not able to make such a deal. We would rather die in your hands and let the other Celestials come barging in to find out why the Dashavataras are missing for several days or weeks." Kalki said and Jin shrugged his shoulders, pretending to whisper to Kraft, asking for his opinion.
"Why are you so persistent in knowing this particular Celestial Entity? Are you afraid that it is trying to manipulate me or maybe control the Celestials behind the scenes?" Jin initially believed saying the word Celestial Entity might prove to be something of value and trust, but instead it turned out to make Kalki even more cautious of this particular Celestial Entity.
However, he might still have a chance to reveal something that could turn the tables if things turned for the worse.
"Yes. You hit all the sore spots of this particular Celestial Entity issue." Kalki said as her stance was slowly turning into something more worrying for Jin. She was prepared to let the whole of Dashavatara to die rather than allow a singular Celestial Entity to control them.
"Then I have no choice." Jin clapped loudly as a distraction mainly due to the fact that he needed to play his so called trump card in order to get the trust the Dashavatara needed. Like an amateur magician, he hid the card in his palm and purposely clapped hard so that it could be activated.
At that moment, Jin slowly added another clap to show that his palms were clean but at that moment he already made sure that his trump card had already appeared at the eastern portion of the castle.
By slowly revealing his Celestial Aura, the two Dashavatara were surprised that Lord Vishnu was in the same room as them. He was not particularly the most apt in hiding his aura but this appearance gave the two Celestials a shock to finally notice him.
"I am the Celestial Entity," Vishnu said as he too showed one pair of his hands, working on a magic circle that was reminiscent of the pattern of the interdimensional barrier that held them in. It was just that they never noticed it was Lord Vishnu's powers that were at work.
It was then everything that seemed to be some sort of huge puzzle started to connect for Kalki. She could sense that this was no longer a negotiation but a trial created for the Dashavatara. But before she could say out her theory, both Kalki and Parashurama went down on their knees to greet their lord and Vishnu walked towards Jin's throne and asked them to stand up.
"I had asked Jin to prepare this battle for any Celestials that emerge in the skies of Atopia, but it pleases me that the ones who came were my Dashavatara," Vishnu said and Jin could see that the deal would be completed in no time.
