Chapter 2157 The Dashavatara -Part 25
"Do you think it's wise to let them fight with Lord Kraft?" En Moy asked as he got out of the soldier formation that was in place in the Royal Throne room. Despite all the fighting that had been occurring in the Ress, the Royal Throne Hall was considered one of the safe havens because of the multiple 'anchors' that Ress possessed.
"Are you afraid that he did not hold back against them? I am more inclined to ask is it wise for you to be in the Royal Throne Hall and be a mere foot soldier that protects the King while the rest of the ministers are in the underground tunnel networks and bunkers to coordinate." Jin asked and En Moy shook his head.
"I might not be the best foot soldier but I did go through the basic Rifle Mage training course. So, technically, I am still bound to save my king if I need to." En Moy chuckled before turning his answer to a question in order for Jin to answer his previous question. "And seeing how Kraft was our instructor, I know what kind of hell awaits the other two of them even without seeing the progress."
He pointed at the screen that was right in front of Jin with all the Magic Eyes that had been installed in the dungeon instance. "They will be fine. They need to know that we can fight without any of those anti celestial tricks under our sleeves.
Right now, they assume that is the only weapon that we have against them." Jin said as he could see through the screen that Kraft was already summoning something else to counter the 'Judgement Day' Celestial flames against Kalki.
All of the Water Clones might be destroyed but rest assured that Kraft was not just some 'water' Mage. Even En Moy knows that and wants to know how the Devil Fox would fight in a high level battle. After all, he had never really seen how Lord Kraft fought in a real battle against his opponents. Usually, there were proxies that would do the job for him.
"Even so, this is a daring plan. I never expected you to ask the Celestials to 'play' your dungeons."
"You knew my background, that I am not of this world. Even if I did manage to stop the Celestials now, I cannot predict whether they will come back again if I were to return to my old world.
-and Yes, I can return to my old world now that I have my System back with me." Jin replied as he continued to watch Kraft blocking all of the Celestial Fire coming towards him while he used his chi to convert the white flames into black flames. As if it had a life of its own, the black flames started to rescind away from the Devil and moved towards Parashurama and Kalki.
"So, you are doing this to make peace with the Celestials, allowing them to think that this battle that we prepared so hard is to show that we can be something else?"
"Yes, if I were to ask you a year ago, do you think Ress can halt their advance should even just one Dashavatara enter this place?" Jin asked as he saw Parashurama, doing his best as a warrior to swing the flames away and break the monotony of the lake's surface to stop it from moving towards them.
"No, there is no way we can survive even the first attack, let alone survive under the pressures of this world." En Moy said and Jin smiled.
"What I am doing is to make sure they come after me instead in my own world and they can use my services either in my own world or I make a shop right over in their Celestial Plane." Jin answered and En Moy understood where this was going. "Unlike all of the fights that I had been in, this is against literal gods.
We were lucky- extremely fucking lucky that we are able to get Vishnu's Avatars as our first major kingdom wide encounter against them or else we might not be able to survive even with our plentiful stock of anti celestial compounds."
"You mean, there are badder …erm gods then them?"
"Not badder, more like badass." Jin could not count the number of combat gods and the variety of Celestials right above him. One wrong move and he might disappear from this place as well. He then pointed at the screen for En Moy, showing how the Dashavatara was doing in order to deal with such threats.
At first it might look like Parashurama was playing with water but with sufficient information about how his terrain would be, the Celestial Avenger instantly threw his axe downwards causing a split in the lake and the ground supporting it.
The water gushed everywhere preventing the black flames to come towards the two Dashavatara while Kalki unleashed a blade despite her constitution handling the backlash of casting a world ending magic spell in this terrain.n/ô/vel/b//in dot c//om
En Moy was shocked and saw how strong the Celestials were. "It is because of the anti celestial compound that the other Dashavataras that we killed were not able to fully utilise their skills and powers. Even the current ones were wary of the openings that they might create just because they applied their abilities to the enemies.
Because they know that the moment they let go of their barrier or lose focus, one of our Rifle Mages would enter the fray and kill them.
"Or you could let us enter the battlefield and kill them immediately." No.8 interjected but Jin shook his head.
"You are my elites. I am saving you for our worse case scenarios."
"That is not what Commando Mages do." No.8 replied but Jin's orders were still absolute.
"In a defensive battle, the more protracted the fight becomes, the more mistakes our enemies might make. But that would also show their desperation. I am saving you all for such desperation cases." Jin's words were final and No. 8 kept quiet.
All she could do was to silently watch the battle unfold outside and within the dungeon instance.
