Chapter 2006: Harvest Plants



'System'

Ajax could only ask the system about it.

However, the system did not reply, causing Ajax to raise his brows as he started thinking

about the possibilities behind the Rule Ascension Lotus Plants, not being able to awaken their abilities.

After carefully analysing the two types of plants, the system has classified the plants into two types.

2) Harvest Plants.

Ajax was attentive in reading each system notification to get a better understanding of the plants.

The system didn't bother to wait for Ajax as it continued to send more notifications with more detailed information and explanations regarding the two types of plants.

The Awakening Plants are the plants that awaken special abilities and bear fruits when they are nurtured to a certain age.

Examples: World Tree, Soul Nurturing Tree, Tree of Blessing and many other trees that the host has nurtured until now except for the Rule Ascension Lotus Plants.

'Ding,

As for the second category of plants, they don't awaken any abilities or don't bear any fruits or bore in certain intervals; instead, they bear a flower or fruit only once in their entire life.

'Ding,

After bearing that fruit or flower, the plant dies and thus, they are called Harvest Plants. Relatively, the nurturing of the Harvest Plants is much easier compared to the Awakening Plants.

Example: Rule Ascension Lotus Plants.

There was so much information; however, the system always uses the simplest language for its host.

Hence, Ajax could easily understand the uniqueness of the Rule Ascension Lotus Plants.

'So, that's the reason why they are growing much faster than the other plants I used to nurture in the past.'

After getting clear information about the Rule Ascension Lotus Plants, all his doubts are cleared.

'So, what is the limit of the Rule Ascension Lotus Plants?'

Since the Rule Ascension Lotus Plants are harvestable, Ajax wondered when he could harvest the Rule Ascension Lotus from the plants.

'Wait...if my guess is correct, I can harvest when the Rule Ascension Lotus Plants reach 100,000 years.'

Ajax estimated the time when he could harvest the Rule Ascension Lotus Plants before asking the system, 'Is that right?'

For the Harvest Plants, their age limit is directly connected to the grade of the plant.

'Ding,

Since the Rule Ascension Lotus Plant is a Quasi-Divine Grade Plant, it requires to reach 100,000 years before it bears the Rule Ascension Lotus that can be harvested.

'My line of thinking is right!'

When guessing, Ajax also used the same reason, making him quite satisfied with his thinking. 'No wonder, when I merged the Rule Ascension Lotus Seeds, they became a different seed.' Finally, Ajax understood the exact reason why he got the different seed when he merged. According to his knowledge, most Awakening Plants could be evolved into Divine Plants and the Quasi-Divine Seeds of the Awakening Plants can be merged into Divine Grade Seeds of the same plant, unlike the Rule Ascension Lotus.

'Wait a second...nurturing the Rule Ascension Lotus Plants for 100,000 years only to get a single Rule Ascension Lotus from them, isn't that too much of a loss for me?'

Suddenly, Ajax felt that the Harvest Plants were far inferior to the Awakening Plants.

No matter how many benefits a Rule Ascension Lotus can bring to a cultivator or a spirit beast, nurturing it to 100,000 years was something that Ajax felt was not cost-effective.

The Harvest Plants are indeed inferior to the Awakening Plants; however, unlike the Awakening Plants, the Harvest Plants can be easily mass-produced.

faster compared to the Awakening Plants.

Looking at the latest set of system notifications, Ajax was pleasantly surprised as he already

started planning his future.

'If I can mass produce the Rule Ascension Lotus, I can not only harvest lots of Rule Ascension Lotus but I can also get lots of Quasi-Divine Grade Seeds.'

'By merging them, I can have a steady flow of Divine Seeds for all my uses in the future.'

Just thinking about the steady flow of Divine Seeds, made Ajax's heart race with excitement. 'But, how many seeds will I get from a single Mature Rule Ascension Lotus Plant?'

Ajax suppressed his excitement as he thought about the main issue.

If a plant can give more seeds, Ajax could replant them to get even more seeds and then, it won't take a long time for Ajax to become a High-level Divine Emperor. However, if he gets only two seeds per plant, then he could still mass produce the Rule Ascension Lotus Plants; however, the time taken to collect 11100 seeds would be much longer.

'Anyway, compared to the nearly hopeless situation, I am in a much better situation thanks to the Rule Ascension Lotus being a Harvest Plant.'
