Chapter 379 Out of Proportion
My words had created a chain reaction as all the people present started nodding their heads.
The Zol Clan, known for killing millions, wrecking civilizations, and messing with human lives, planned a comeback, so this should be considered at the same level of World War III.
"Now, we just needed to find a way to convince the others to start a summit," Sophia spoke, her voice carrying some doubt.
It must be tough to persuade the other continents to cooperate with Asia. This wasn't anything new; it had always been a human trait to ignore things that didn't immediately affect them.
Only by carefully considering the pros and cons would the other branches decide if all of this was worth it.
"I know a way," I raised my hands. If it was about making things blow out of proportion, then I'm an expert in that matter.
"Tell us, Director Mong," she asked.
"Just make everything sound worse. Connect all the incidents, even the one in North Korea. We want other branches to see the Zol clan as a big threat to people. Say they might attack a big city soon, or even better, they plan to create Artificial Tsunami," I explained.
I don't know much about the Zol Clan plan, but judging by their track record, attacking a city isn't far-fetched. They don't even need to do it; just the idea will scare everyone.
"And this could set off a chain reaction," I highlighted another potential worst-case scenario, ensuring I had their full attention.
"But that means altering official information," Sophia objected.
"I used the word 'might,' and I spoke about things they've already done in the past. Consider this: with their power, they could pull off detonating an underwater volcano if they wanted to," I pointed out, drawing from the information I obtained from the Zol Clan's list of heinous crimes.
Everyone fell silent when I reminded them about it. This was a simple manipulation tactic, bringing up past crimes. It was like planting a seed in everyone's mind that once a killer, always a killer.
"If the Zol Clan initiates an open war, not just them but all the powerful gifted individuals hiding in the shadows would become more daring. It would be total chaos, so we need to eliminate them before it even begins!" I declared, frustration and anger evident in my voice. I aimed to convey how resolute I was in my duty to protect humanity.
"Are we just going to stand here and let them destroy the future that we've created?" I screamed, displaying my love for my fellow humans.
"This…"
They were all left speechless; it was an idea that had been lingering in their minds, and I just brought it to the forefront.
'That's right, idiots. Just follow my plan as I use you all,' I chuckled to myself.
"Director Mong is right. I'm heading back to Shanghai to relay this message," Sophia was the first to speak.
"I agree,"
"I agree, we need to kill those bastards"
"We need to stop them before they could kill more people,"
"Those demons don't have the right to live!"
One by one, everyone started expressing their desire to destroy the Zol Clan.
'I wonder if the system would consider the mission completed if a clan member is killed because of my manipulation?' An evil thought crossed my mind.
With that, we concluded the meeting. There were still a lot of things that needed to be taken care of, after all.

Inside a Laboratory
"Doctor Han," I greeted him as I entered his office. I came because he mentioned a way to accessed the memory he had given me.
I still had some time before I went back to Seoul, so I decided to check the memory first. Now that I wasn't close to my mother, I became more calm-minded and didn't dwell on her. She was still important, but not enough to make me flustered and emotional.n/ô/vel/b//jn dot c//om
I attempted to access it through my Mind Computer, but it didn't work. It appeared I needed alien equipment, just like last time, as a medium to view the fragmented memory.
"Please sit down, Master," he gestured toward what looked like a human-sized capsule, similar to those seen in Alien movies.
"What is this thing? Another Alien Technology?" I inquired.
"No, Master. Cerebrum build this tech so we could read the memory without any adverse effects. In the early stages of our research into fragment memories, we discovered that we need a considerable amount of Mind Power to access it, and even with that, there were still some side effects. With this, you can view the whole memory without worrying ," he explained to me.
"Good job," I praised him. I was confident in his honesty, and after double-checking my connection with him, I found no issues.
I walked toward the capsule, and with a press of a few buttons by Dr. Han, it opened up.
The interior was surprisingly spacious, so I casually walked in and reclined. Dr. Han then handed me what looked like a cutting-edge Virtual Reality Headset.
"Can this thing connect to a regular computer?" I inquired, curious if I could use it for playing VR games.
"It can be used with some little tweaks," he answered.
"Great, by the way, does Cerebrum have technology that can create virtual reality ?" I asked, intrigued by this technology.
"The American Branch does have one. They use it to train their agents," he responded.
"What about in Asia?"
"No, the American branch and European branch have access to more Alien Technology. Even though we are under the same group, each continental branch competes for resources and technology," he sighed, expressing his dissatisfaction with this competitive setup as a scientist.
"Alright, I'll try to get access to that technology in the future so you can get to play with them. By the way, regarding your family, I told my mother to make sure to spare them. Have they contacted you already?" I inquired, as it was one of the things I had instructed before she left.
"Not yet, Master. But I'm sure they're okay after you gave me your word," he answered, his voice filled with devotion.
At this point, he would remain loyal to me even if all of his family died,
"Okay, time for a full dive!"
"Full Dive?" Dr. Han raised his eyebrows.
"Don't mind me," I chuckled , realizing that I referenced another term from one of my favorite anime.
