Chapter 376 Clan Leader
The ceiling, along with all the metal and dirt, got pulled up and formed a ball in the sky. It reminded me of my Quantum Magnet skill, but this one was way stronger.
Just seeing how fast everything got pulled out, I could tell it packed a real power. The ungrounded base went from confined and safe to an open space, showing off some impressive feat.
'Is that her?' I wondered, looking at a woman in black robes up in the sky.
She had the usual Zol Clan look—dark hair and eyes that seemed to devour the light. She was really pretty, maybe even more than my mom, but I'm biased, so Mom still gets that point.Nôv(el)B\\jnn
Her looks were not the only thing that caught my attention. It was also her aura aura. I could see the invisible energy in the world, and in my vision, it looked blue.
However, it differed in intensity when being used; the darker the color of the energy, the more powerful the telekinesis power would be.
And she was now surrounded by a thick, dark blue aura that was so intense I had to turn off my ability to see energy just to make out her features. That's how terrifying she was.
'Can I even beat her with my full power?' Doubt started to creep in as I looked at her.
I thought about using my black hole, but if my copycat could sense it, she probably could too.
The strong image of her wrapped in that dark blue aura made me hesitate, showing me just how tough of an opponent she was.
"Let's get out of here ," My copycat ordered and all of us started to fly towards her . I just went with the flow , resiting in this kind of situation would backfire on me .
The closer we got to her, the more I started to notice her beauty. Despite probably being thousands of years old, she looked no older than 18.
However, I reminded myself not to judge people solely by their looks. This woman might seem stunning, but she wanted to start a war against humanity, so she was definitely rotten inside.
"Master Zely ," My copycat greeted her , his tone filled with respect.
'What a simp,' I said, shaking my head at his weakness. Calling a woman 'master' was worse than being a loser in my opinion. A real man should be the one being called 'master,' not the other way around.
"What happened to Zhang?" my copycat asked.
"He escaped," Zely answered with a frustrated tone.
"That's alright, Master Zely. We can kill him later. By the way, this are my family," he said, introducing my mother and grandfather to her, but not even sparing a glance at me.
It didn't cross his mind that I might be his real brother. Well, I can't blame him. I still call him copycat, even with that possibility of us being brothers was really high.
"Good job, Zyden," Zely replied to him with a warm smile, using that cliché tactic to make him feel important. It worked like a charm, considering his eyes were diluting like crazy.
'And he's even wiggling his tail like a dog with my face. What a letdown,' I added, disappointed by his submissive behavior.
"Who's this person? And why does he look like you?" Zely focused on me.
"You can see through my shapeshift?" I asked with a cold tone. I wasn't using my real face, so it surprised me that she could tell we looked alike.
"I see things in terms of energy, and you have the same form as Zyden. However, you're not one of us... and I don't like the tone of your voice," she shot back, her eyes sending daggers towards me.
I could almost feel the tension, her invisible hands inching closer, ready to strike if I made another wrong move.
"Please don't hurt him, Master Zely," my mother spoke up for me, her voice filled with concern.
I felt that despite the bad reputation of the Zol clan, my mother was a very warm and kindhearted person. Her kindness radiated through the air, creating a comforting atmosphere around her.
Zely looked at my mother, and her attitude shifted from threatening to friendly in an instant. It was kind of creepy to see her change so suddenly, like flipping a switch.
'What a two-faced bitch,' I mocked her inwardly. I despised this type of individual the most—very manipulative and capable of turning against you at any moment.
"Oh so he's in our side ? Alright then I wont hurt him ," She replied with a fake smile.
"However , I can't let him go with us ," She added after seeing that my mother was adamant on protecting me.
My mother paused for a moment. She must be in a dilemma right now, unsure of what to do.
Zely might act friendly, but my mother knew that it was all an act. There was no way that someone with the title Leader of the most evil clan in the world could be genuinely kind.
As for me? Well, I decided to shut up for now. Angering her would just backfire. I still needed to figure out how powerful she was and plan to take her down in one swift move.
"Ji-hoon," my mother leaned in closer, and used some kind of telepathy to talked to me.
"What is it, Mom?" I asked.
"I will find you, okay?" She whispered, her hand gently brushing my cheeks.
"But.." I began to protest, but she cut me off with a serious look. It was clear that no matter what I said, I would not be able change her mind.
"Just wait for me there. I will explain everything." She repeated to emphasize that she was serious.
"Alright," I surrendered to her request.
There was no way I could refuse when she gazed at me with those beautiful eyes. It was as if her eyes held a persuasive power of their own, making it impossible for me to resist.
"Just wait for me,"
