Chapter 171: Saitama Training
Chapter 171: Chapter 171: Saitama Training
The café manager, noticing the sudden appearance of Alex and the visibly frozen Kenjaku, felt confused. He asked once more,
"Sir, have you decided what to order yet?"
Still, no one replied. Kenjaku didn't dare move. Invisible, intangible killing intent was binding him like chains; even the slightest movement felt as though it would tear him apart.
In such a situation, he had no energy to respond to the manager's question.
Before the manager could ask again, Alex spoke up: "Two lattes, please, manager."
The manager finally let out a sigh of relief. For some reason, standing near these strange men made his body feel uncomfortably hot.
Yet while his body was hot, his heart felt ice-cold, as if he were teetering on the edge of a cliff, moments away from falling to his death.
Hearing Alex place an order, the manager bowed slightly, visibly relieved.
"Please wait a moment, sirs. Your coffee will be ready shortly."
Once the manager left, silence enveloped the group again. Alex simply didn't want to speak, while the others didn't dare to.
When the waiter brought the coffee, Alex took a sip. Only then did Kenjaku, suppressing his fear as best as he could, speak with forced calm:
"You must be Alex, the so-called Heavenly God who's been making waves in the jujutsu world lately?"
Ignoring Kenjaku's question, Alex leisurely finished his coffee before finally glancing at the group and musing aloud: "Should I just deal with all of you now?"
The moment those words left his mouth, panic struck the group. Without hesitation, they sprang from their seats, smashing through the wall in an attempt to flee.
However, their vision blurred for a moment, and before they could react, they found themselves back inside the café, sitting in the exact same seats. The wall they had broken through was completely intact.
Their expressions turned grim as they tried to flee again—several times, in fact—only to experience the same result. Each time they moved to escape, they were instantly transported back to the café.
Jogo slid to the far end of the bench, pressing himself against Hanami to put as much distance as possible between himself and Alex. His face was pale with terror, his voice trembling: "What kind of power is this?
Hypnosis?
An illusion?
Or is it... as the rumors say... time reversal?!"
In the moment he had seen Alex, all of Jogo's former arrogance had crumbled to dust.
The instant they faced Alex, the gap between them became painfully clear—a gap vaster than the one between him and ordinary humans.
Just as he could effortlessly slaughter humans, Alex needed only a thought to erase him.
The proof of this lay in the bizarre, unexplainable way they kept being forced back into the café without realizing it.
Without answering Jogo's question, Alex placed his hand on the curse spirit's head once more. Then, he accelerated time specifically for his body.
Even for a curse spirit, the concept of time was inescapable. In an instant, centuries passed for Jogo. His body visibly decayed and withered, crumbling to ash before everyone's eyes, leaving behind only his skull.
Alex casually kicked the skull under the table like a soccer ball, idly toying with it as he looked toward Kenjaku.
Kenjaku, seeing Alex's gaze shift to him, broke into a cold sweat. The overwhelming pressure of Alex's presence was suffocating.
Internally, Kenjaku cursed in terror:
'Damn it, what kind of monster is this?! Not even Ryomen Sukuna a thousand years ago was this terrifying!'
Observing Kenjaku for a while, Alex suddenly snapped his fingers.
Suguru Geto's head split open, revealing the disgusting brain-like entity with a mouth inside. Alex frowned with a look of distaste and remarked: "Although I knew your true form was revolting, it still exceeded my expectations.
I must admit, I have a certain respect for you. To have survived so long in such a grotesque, neither-human-nor-ghost form is... quite the feat."
With his brain-like body twitching and writhing, Kenjaku was visibly tense. He resisted the urge to use his emergency escape method and abandon Geto's body because his instincts told him it would be useless.
In the face of this "Heavenly God," escape was simply not an option.
Kenjaku didn't dare show any anger at Alex's mockery. Instead, he forced an awkward smile to mask his unease.
Kicking Jogo's head toward Hanami, Alex casually finished his coffee and snapped his fingers again. A red box, covered in eyes, appeared in his hand.
The moment they saw this box, everyone's expression changed drastically. It was The Prison Realm—the tool they had planned to use against Alex and Gojo Satoru.
The Prison Realm possessed unparalleled sealing power, capable of trapping anything, even Gojo Satoru himself.
Now that Alex had taken control of it, their chances of stopping him had vanished entirely.
Alex examined the Prison Realm but quickly lost interest. While it was a pinnacle of sealing techniques in Jujutsu Kaisen, it was far too simplistic for someone like him.
With ease, he activated the Prison Realm, sealing Hanami along with the remains of Jogo, whom Hanami was holding. He then handed the restored box to Dagon and, smiling, turned to the last two remaining individuals:
"Well, looks like there are only two of you left.
Dagon, with your current strength, you're far from being Kenjaku's match.
So tell me, Kenjaku, will you take this opportunity to devour these weakened curse spirits?"
Leaving that final remark hanging in the air, Alex turned and walked out of the café.
He had no intention of killing them. Without them, the world of Jujutsu Kaisen would be far too boring.
Once Alex left, Kenjaku let out a long sigh of relief. He turned to Dagon with narrowed eyes, his expression unreadable.
Dagon, on the other hand, remained on high alert, carefully watching Kenjaku for any sudden moves.
It seemed Alex's parting words had done their job. A massive rift had formed in the fragile alliance between Kenjaku and the curse spirits, and now they began to doubt one another.
After a tense standoff, Kenjaku smiled and said to Dagon:
"Dagon, surely you haven't let Alex's words drive a wedge between us? We're partners. I wouldn't harm you."
After careful consideration, Kenjaku decided against absorbing the remaining curses with his Cursed Spirit Manipulation. While doing so would strengthen him, it was ultimately unnecessary for his larger plan.
What mattered most was Mahito. Losing these curses wouldn't affect the grand scheme, but disrupting his plans over something so trivial would be disastrous.
Hearing Kenjaku's attempt to reassure him, Dagon slowly relaxed.
But deep down, both of them knew their relationship could never return to what it once was.
Unknowingly, an invisible wall of distrust had formed between them—a sad, unbridgeable divide.
---
When Alex returned to Tokyo Jujutsu High, he was greeted with the news that Yuji Itadori was dead.
He wasn't surprised. He knew Yuji wasn't actually dead. At that very moment, Yuji was training in a hidden chamber to refine his cursed energy.
When Yuji finally reappeared, Alex knew he would deliver a massive surprise to everyone.
At this moment, on the training field of Tokyo Jujutsu High, the first and second-year students were training to prepare for the upcoming exchange event between Japan's two Jujutsu schools.
Meanwhile, Alex looked off toward a specific area. Through the Six Eyes' perspective, he could see Gojo Satoru teaching Yuji Itadori the basics of cursed energy control.
If all went well, once Yuji mastered cursed energy, he would likely develop his initial attack technique: Divergent Fist.
When the students noticed Alex's arrival, they quieted for a moment before eagerly surrounding him, seeking his guidance.
Maki Zenin was the first to step forward and ask: "Alex, how did your physical strength become so overwhelming? Is there some kind of trick to it?"
The others quickly chimed in one after another: "Alex, where did you get the inspiration to refine and improve your technique?"
"Salmon!"
"Alex, I want to be as strong as you! Can you teach me some cursed technique skills?"
Initially, Alex considered brushing them off and continuing his stroll through Tokyo. However, when he saw the eager looks on their faces, an idea struck him.
These people were perfect test subjects. He would start with Jujutsu High and revamp the entire Jujutsu world!
Pressing his hand to his cheek to appear more serious and credible, Alex cleared his throat:
"Ahem. So you all want to get stronger, huh?
Well, you've come to the right person. No one knows how to improve better than I do.
Since we're all part of Tokyo Jujutsu High, I've decided to take responsibility. Over the next month, I'll train you all personally and help you significantly boost your strength.
You already know I defeated my 'grandson' and became the strongest in the Jujutsu world. You also know I've developed countless powerful cursed techniques. So, rest assured, my training is highly authoritative!"
Hearing Alex's declaration, the students erupted in cheers:
"Alex is the best!"
But before they could celebrate too long, Alex continued:
"However, if you want to join my training, there's a small training fee. Each of you needs to pay 10 million yen. Don't push or shove—line up one by one to make your payments."
As Alex somehow pulled a desk and chair out of nowhere and sat down to collect the money, everyone froze.
"Wait, we have to pay for this?"
Alex responded matter-of-factly:
"Of course. After my training, every one of you will see your strength multiply several times over. If you're smart enough, you might even become Special Grade Sorcerers.
And tell me this—what's 10 million yen to a Special Grade Jujutsu Sorcerer? It's pocket change.
Do you think paying 10 million yen for such progress isn't worth it? If you want to quit, you can do so now.
But think about this: when the training ends, and your peers—who were once your equals—can now wipe the floor with you, will you be able to handle that humiliation?"
The image of being utterly outclassed by their companions sent shivers down the students' spines. Most of them had already started considering ways to scrape together the money.
Seeing that his words had struck a chord, Alex stoked the fire even further: "Oh, by the way, I heard there's a genius second-year sorcerer named Yuta Okkotsu, right?
If you join my training, there's a good chance you'll become Special Grade Sorcerers before he even returns to Tokyo. You might even surpass him and become the strongest student at Jujutsu High—second only to me, of course." n/o/vel/b//in dot c//om
"Imagine this," Alex said, his voice carrying weight and authority. "When Yuta Okkotsu returns, you casually defeat him, leaving behind a single line: 'Your era of being the strongest is over. Now, I am the strongest.'
Or better yet, imagine years later, you defeat even Gojo Satoru. You take a photo of him passed out in the background and post it on social media, declaring yourself as the strongest sorcerer in all of Japan's Jujutsu world.
Don't you want that? Or are you all just aimless slackers without dreams?"
Inspired by Alex's words, the crowd roared in unison: "No, we have dreams, even if we're slackers with goals!"
Alex: "..."
He blinked. Why do these guys seem so... dim-witted?
Realizing their phrasing had been off, the students paused, reorganized their thoughts, and then shouted again with renewed vigor:
"No! We are people with ambitions! We want to become the strongest!"
Alex nodded approvingly.
"Good. Since you all have dreams, I'll help you achieve them. Starting now, your one-month hellish training begins!
The first step of your training: every day, 100 push-ups, 100 sit-ups, 100 squats, and a 10-kilometer run. Can you do that?"
"Yes!" they reflexively shouted.
But then, as the realization set in, Panda hesitantly raised his paw and asked cautiously: "Um, Teacher Alex, isn't this just the Saitama training method from One Punch Man?"
The other students nodded in agreement. They, too, had heard of Saitama's training regime. They also knew it was fictional and wouldn't work in real life—especially for Jujutsu sorcerers.
Rather than getting angry at their skepticism, Alex smiled confidently. "Oh, you don't think it works? Allow me to prove otherwise."
He casually raised his fist and swung it through the air.
The punch carried pure cursed energy and kinetic force, a condensed hurricane of destruction that surged toward the nearby forest.
In an instant, trees were uprooted and turned to dust as the ground cracked and splintered, leaving a deep chasm in its wake. When the wind settled, a scene of devastation lay before them, exactly like the aftermath of a Saitama punch.
Wiping imaginary dust from his hand, Alex said seriously:
"How is this useless? With my carefully developed herbal baths, you'll be able to break the limits of the human body, unlock your genetic potential, and step into an entirely new realm of power.
Do you think I got this strong by accident?"
The students stared wide-eyed at the destruction Alex had caused with a single casual punch. Slowly, doubt gave way to awe.
If Alex could do this with "Saitama training," then maybe... just maybe, it wasn't a joke.
The realization dawned on them—the reason the method hadn't worked for anyone else was because they didn't have Alex's special herbal baths!
One by one, the students convinced themselves. Their eyes began to shine with determination as they shouted in unison: "Teacher Alex, please accept us as your students!"
Seeing their newly inspired faces, Alex nodded in satisfaction.
At the same time, he quietly began altering the fundamental rules of their bodies with his root powers, ensuring they could withstand Saitama-style training. Combined with the special herbal baths, it would push them beyond their natural limits.
And so, the hellish training officially began.
