Evan looked and counted all the zeros on the systems screen. That did make his reconsider his paln, but he still decided to go with it.

'1 billion, huh? That's fucking too much.'

Seeing more penalties than the rewards, naturally Evan was baffled.

Strange, but Evan didn't push the matter any further.

He had nothing to do anymore and checked what everyone else were doing.

Celestina, Anna and Mizuki were still cultivating deligently, he was glad seeing their progress. None of them were slacking off.

On the other hand, Nova and Lyra were in the arena. Both of them were practicing their combat, where Nova was clearly dominating Lyra.

'Seems they are all doing great.'

He nodded inwardly.

'System, add a function of day and night inside the sect.'

[Well, it do have the concept of day and night. But it is rather slow than what you are beknown with. But I can change that if you really want to.]

'Yeah, do so.'

The system immediately changed the function of day and night in the sect, though it didn't seem like anything was changed.

Soon, the night came. Evan didn't do anything and just stayed in the throne room while checking through all the things that Seraphina got for him. He was still amazed seeing all those rare treasures inside that spatial ring.

'Hmm, finally it's time now.'

He got up form his seat and arrived at the training room, where a completely exhausted Lyra who was gasping and moaning was barely able to stand still and in front of her was her bull... cough* her sparring partner Nova who had a wide smirk on her face.

"You really made me proud, my dear sister. All things aside, you have amazed me countless times today, if we go by this pace, I will make you a formidable warrior pretty soon."

'You have only been thrashing me all day, I don't see why you are calling this training at all.' Lyra thought inwardly, but didn't say it upfront.

She knew what might happen to her if she were to say any of her inner thoughts.

"Hmm, it seems you two are enjoying your time together here." Evan said appearing from behind Nova.

"Big brother..."

"Evan..."

Both of them called out to him and greeted him with a smile.

"It's getting late now, why don't you both go and rest for tonight. There are many rooms here, you can pick anything to your liking."

"Hmm, we will then. Let's go Lyra, your brother has a lot of work to do tonight. We shouldn't disturb him." Nova said to Lyra and pulled her way from there.n/ô/vel/b//in dot c//om

"Wait... don't drag me..."

Lyra's plea didn't work at all and she got dragged down by Nova.

Evan couldn't do anything but watch as the scene unfolded in front of him.

'She is really jealous, huh? I need to think of something for her too. But it's assuring that her feelings for me hasn't gotten low at all, it is still infinite. I am surprised she hasn't taken any severe step till now. I have a hunch that she has been holding up a lot of her emotions right now.'

He shook his head, sighing exasperatedly. He couldn't do anything than just watch.

He then went to where Celestina and others were at. Without a sense of time, Anna and Celestina were still cultivating there.

"It should be enough for today, you two."

His voice woke them up and both of them opened their eyes at the same time.

Their face lit up and they both called out to him.

"Husband~."

"Daddy~."

"Go and take a rest now. You guys still do not have habit of sitting for so long. Your legs must be tired by now, go and take a rest for a while."

They both nodded and headed for to the bedroom chamber as well. As with Nova and Lyra, Evan also told them to pick a room to their liking.

Now only Mizuki was left, who was cultivating in the medicinal garden.

He swiftly arrived there ans right after he appeared, Mizuki was able to sense his presence and opened her eyes.

"Husband~."

"Your senses are really sharp."

She smiled brightly and responded,

"It wasn't me, these plants growing around me told me about your arrival, so I was able to know it beforehand."

"Still, it's great. You should get up now as well, other have already headed for the bed,let us go now too. I hope you are ready for what's to come tonight."
