Magic Sect of Beauties: The Strongest Mage is in a Cultivation World

Chapter 283 The Unfolding Path to Success.

Serpent's Spire.

A blood rift tore open, and Yang Wei emerged from it with a new appearance. Glancing around, he noticed there were no disciples in sight, suggesting not much time had passed since he inhabited the body of the late Blood Emperor.

"Hm? Even Feng ran away…"

He shrugged.

It was easy to see that Wu Fengtian always tended to prioritize his own survival above all else. Plus, he wouldn't have forgiven himself if Wu Fengtian had been harmed or, worse, killed during his risky alchemical practices.

RAAWWWRR~~!

Suddenly, Tianyi sprang out of the bushes, stars in his eyes, and leaped onto Yang Wei's face, causing him to stumble.

The little celestial dragon was overjoyed to see his master safe.

"Hah~ Tianyi! Didn't expect you to be this excited to see me. Was I really gone that long?" Yang Wei chuckled, receiving no verbal response from Tianyi.

Instead, the golden dragon wagged his tail happily and licked his master's face, showing his affection in his own way.

"Alright, alright, that's enough. Hahaha~"

Yang Wei laughed as he regained his footing and gently lifted his pet dragon off his face.

Tianyi now rested in Yang Wei's arms, snuggling close.

It was clear how much Tianyi cared for his master. During the brief period Yang Wei was gone, Tianyi had felt as if he might never return, nearly losing his composure. The fear of being abandoned again, as he had been countless eons ago by the Great Star Emperor, his original master, haunted him. Despite his age, Tianyi remained a child at heart.

The matriarchs observed Yang Wei from a distance, refraining from speaking to him for now.

"That black hair and red eyes, along with those faint red veins on his body... you know what he's turned into, right?" Liang Xinyue remarked with a slight smile.

Yuehui Menglong remained silent but nodded in acknowledgment.

I recall Master Ling Yue saying something concerning their kind before… she thought.

Tian Mingxia (Fangblade), hovering with her arms folded, tilted her head and bluntly stated, "He's no longer human, that's for sure."

She was the sort of person to give such a shallow answer.

Despite her centuries of existence, Tian Mingxia couldn't definitively identify Yang Wei's new form. There were certain things she wasn't willing to expand her knowledge on.

Of all the matriarchs, she could agreeably be called the laziest one.

Zuuuuu~!

Just then, a celestial rift swirled open in the space behind the matriarchs, drawing their attention.

They turned to see Bai Suzhen, hands elegantly clasped behind her back, with a serene expression on her snow-white face.

The matriarchs respectfully bowed their heads in greeting.

"Welcome, Sect Founder!" they chorused.

Bai Suzhen acknowledged their greetings with a small wave of her hand.

Shortly after, her gray eyes pierced through the vast distance and scanned Yang Wei's new body intently.

She sensually licked her lips, still staring like she wanted to eat him up.

"Hmm~~" she moaned softly to herself.

"Um, Sect Founder... everything alright?" Xu Tung-Mei inquired, noticing Bai Suzhen's peculiar expression as she gazed off into the distance, fixated on Yang Wei.

Although they knew her attention was directed towards him, their vantage point prevented them from discerning exactly what had captivated her.n/ô/vel/b//jn dot c//om

"He's transformed into a Bloodfiend Immortal…" Bai Suzhen declared abruptly.

Only Tian Mingxia and Xu Tung-Mei were confused.

"What do you mean, Bloodfiend Immortal?"

They both asked this question in unison. As though they'd prepared to do so beforehand.

Bai Suzhen chuckled playfully.

"Oh~~ where would you all be without your venerable Sect Founder?"

She never missed a chance to flaunt her immense knowledge, having lived long enough to witness the rise of countless cultivation worlds.

Despite her wisdom, it was amusing that she looked like a child compared to the mature, irresistibly shapely figures of the matriarchs.

Her wide smile gradually faded into a more serious expression.

"Bloodfiend Immortals are born from the dark arts of blood cultivation, a forbidden practice in the cultivation world since the days of the Blood Emperor. They feed on the essence, life force, and blood of others to enhance their power and achieve immortality. This perilous cultivation method often leads them to a state resembling that of demons."

Bai Suzhen was well-versed in the origins and intricacies of blood-based cultivation; there was little about this demonic branch that escaped her understanding.

Tian Mingxia raised an eyebrow. "Doesn't that mean he's a threat to us now?"

"Would you like to take him on and subdue him yourself?" Bai Suzhen responded in a casual yet probing tone.

Tian Mingxia hesitated, a slight worry crossing her face as she waved a dismissive hand. "Hmm, maybe I'll hold off on that for now." She was still stuck at the Nascent Soul Realm, so she knew it wouldn't be smart to fight someone who could match a cultivator of the 4th path.

The other matriarchs chuckled, except for Yuehui Menglong.

She always maintained her composed demeanor without showing any signs of amusement.

Bai Suzhen nodded in response to Tian Mingxia's decision.

"A wise choice."

After that, her eyes went back to Yang Wei for a moment.

I'm not certain if there are any Bloodfiend Immortals left on the Blood Continent. It's been ages since I visited the Middle Regions, so anything could have happened by now. That pill he made… it's the Blood Dragon-Strengthening Pill. Anyone who can refine such will gain absolutely supremacy over blood and inherit the legacy of the Blood Emperor himself.

I can't afford to make a big deal about this. If news spreads, it could reach the Blood Emperor Polarity Sect or, even worse… the Heavenly Court Sect.

Bai Suzhen was convinced about the authenticity of the blood pill Yang Wei brewed, and she was even more sure that he had acquired an inheritance from the Blood Emperor.

However, what she didn't realize was that he had now ascended to become the Blood Emperor himself.

Nevertheless, she understood that this presented numerous opportunities for them to strengthen their sect's position in the Sect Resource-Allocation Trial.

There's this clan called the Blood Demon Clan here that I've taken in. They think I just brought them into my sect out of convenience or necessity, but truth is, I'm afraid they could be dangerous if they fell into the hands of a powerful upper-class sect.

Their clan was founded on the Blood Continent by Patriarch Blood Moon, but he abandoned them when he joined the Blood Emperor Polarity Sect. That left the Blood Demon Clan suppressed and sent back to the Lower Regions, and they've struggled ever since.

Now, under Yang Wei, who not only became a Bloodfiend Immortal but also awakened his innate blood spirit and refined a pill only the Blood Emperor himself has achieved, he might be the key to unlocking the Blood Demon Clan's potential… all while keeping them in check, of course.

"I really should stop overthinking..." Bai Suzhen told herself.

Meanwhile. . .

In another part of the area around the Serpent's Spire, Elder Qian kept a close eye on Yang Wei, who was likely heading back to Grand Elder Peak.

She didn't know what else to say, but she felt immensely happy.

Seeing someone else use her Dao of Spirit-forging Alchemy made her feel like her years of studying alchemy hadn't been in vain. She had hoped fervently that her students would eventually inherit her legacy, but it seemed unlikely.

Still, she was glad that someone could use it and achieve the rank of Apothecary Sage.

"Thank you, Yang Wei..." she whispered to herself.

Suddenly, her eyebrows shot up as she realized something.

Didn't he say something about us sleeping together if he managed to fully master the inheritance.

A disturbing image flashed through her mind briefly.

She somehow pictured herself naked in bed with a deviously smiling Yang Wei, whose jade dragon was hanging out.

Immediately, her face flushed red, and she vigorously shook her head as if trying to physically shake off the memory.

"NO! Such silly thoughts!"
