William spent the next two weeks absorbing the Superior Chaos Vein, marking three fully absorbed Superior Veins out of the total twenty-eight.

The weakening from the Karma Element upgrades had ended a few days prior, and William pushed it from SS to SSR, then X-Rank successfully, the only cost being another long period of weakness. Even the Karma Element's consciousness that tried to break free couldn't do anything to his powerful body.

The downside was that in the process of the final two upgrades, William lost his connection with over a thousand people.

Surprisingly, he never lost the Karma Thread attached to his mother in this World, Misha, which was slightly thicker than he expected. Even though he had hardly spent any time with the woman, William's Karma Thread was almost as large as Charlotte's, which made him wonder if it had something to do with the previous William.

William counted the number of Karma Threads in his Space Ring to be 688, then widened the System Panel and looked at the Karma Affinity.

Hmm, this one is a bit situational... William thought as he looked at the Karma Territory. If he was against something like a Demon that had incredibly dense negative karma, this would probably be a great counter to it.

But, if he was facing a member of a righteous organization, the Karma Element wouldn't be useful for much.

Even so, this was an incredibly powerful ability that would be perfect in the right situations. He even had the Karma Elemental Form, which would allow him to wash away his own negative karma at any time.

I wouldn't be surprised if there's a Karma Mage with the ability to create a Territory in the Celestial Planes, but with the Elemental Form this shouldn't be an issue. William smiled as he looked at the System Panel.

POTENTIAL POINTS: 43,112,082

I have four Element Farms that aren't B-Rank yet, and they cost ten million Points each. I wanted to save these Points for something last-minute, but I think waiting three years to fully comprehend my Elements is actually too long...

The Potential Farms were enough to earn William a few million Points every two weeks, so he didn't hesitate to spend most of his remaining Points to push all four Farms to B-Rank.

At the same time, he harvested the Element Fruits that had been fully grown since four days ago, changing the harvest cycle for his Element farms to the 24th of each month. He consumed the 150 Illusion and Time Fruits in his warehouse, then moved on to eat 75 Fire, Space, and Seal Fruits.

Lastly, William ate the 525 Order Fruits that he had been saving up the longest, pushing his comprehension of the Illusion and Time Elements to 15.1 percent, Fire and Space to 37.6 percent, Seal to 48.1 percent, and finally Order to 52.6 percent.

Along with the Fate Element that gained eight percent comprehension from a random enlightenment, William had 7 Elements that were stronger than anything that anyone in the Mortal Realms could possibly achieve.

System, if I upgrade the Element Farms to A-Rank, will I still be able to eat the Fruits?

-Yes. The A-Rank upgrade will grow one hundred Element Fruits at a time, but their quality will be the same. Once the Farms become S-Rank, the quantity of Fruits produced will double once more, but 25 of which will be too powerful for you to consume in your current state.

William nodded in understanding. From the way the System explained it, upgrading Farms like Order to A-Rank would be a waste since he was almost halfway done comprehending the Element, but pushing it to S-Rank would be a good idea once he was able to eat the better Fruits.

Wait a minute, what do the better fruits do? Are they just more Comprehension? That would be a waste.

-Better Fruits allow you to comprehend more powerful Laws.

Stronger Laws? William understood what the System was saying, but its explanation sparked a whole new level of interest. After seeing how much the Seal Element's restriction improved over time, William knew that the Elemental Fruits were no small matter.

In fact, he could sense that his Order Element was over five hundred times stronger than it was before he ate the Fruits. If that was the case, full comprehension should be around a thousand times!

Five hundred times stronger than an X-Rank Mythic Element... if Juhi descended again, I could obliterate him with a single move! That said... what am I going to do when I try to Ascend these Elements? I'll be destroyed by the Laws in an instant!

William shook his head and decided it would be better to figure that out at a later date. He already understood how the upgrade process worked for the Elements, so he would be sure to fully prepare for the eventual upgrade.

Even if the Order and other Elements had grown stronger, William could gauge how strong their improvements were. All he had to do was wait until he was confident enough to handle the Laws.

Bonus Effects like Mana Lord from the Mana Dominator Talent and the various upgrades from the Hard Body Talent would be enough to hopefully counter the worst effects. All he had to do was upgrade those and his Resistance Talents first.

Speaking of Talents... I haven't looked at the Master Thief Talent or Jack Of All Trades yet. Now that all of my Elements are maxed out, I should do that... William remembered as he opened the System Panel.

Finally, a Talent that helps me steal- I mean grab more loot! I can even use this as a tool to run from anything stronger than me! Though I doubt anything could make me run... William smiled.

Seeing that the Stealth Talent was enhanced made William curious. The Stealth Talent was only Common, and in his opinion, it should be one of the most suitable Talents for merging into Master Thief, but it hadn't.

It was completely separate from the rest, and the System didn't say anything about it.

William decided to ask. System, does the Stealth Talent merge into anything?

-I can omit the things related to the Ascended Realms. Request requires 144 Potential Points. Yes/No?

-The Stealth Talent merges with Master Thief, Critical Chance, Fitness, and two other Talents only available after you Ascend. Once merged, they will become a Celestial Talent.

William nodded in understanding. The upgrade path for the Stealth Talent was a bit odd, but he was happy that the System was able to explain the situation to him for cheap.

So, there are Talents that I can only get when I Ascend, huh?

-There are many, but the requirements are different from what you'd expect.

William frowned slightly. He could tell by the System's tone that it meant he wouldn't be able to gain Talents as easily as he was now.

Will the Talent Shop be taken away when I Ascend? William was slightly worried that he would miss out on many things.

-No.

He heaved a sigh of relief, moving on to the Jack Of All Trades Talent before he could forget about it again.

As he opened the description of the Celestial Talent, the message box of the System automatically widened, extending a few meters above William and spreading downward as if someone had unfurled an absurdly long scroll.
