As soon as Samuel got the news of the accident, he rushed tonsee if Elise was alright. He was like a wind running straight to the main mansion because that's where she was taken to.

As soon as he reached the entrance, he saw Hanri waiting with few people but he wasn't in the mood to talk. He knew these dejected faces must be the staff responsible for taking care of horses, if Elise was really hurt because of their carelessness, he didn't know what he would do to them.

"Young master-" Henri stepped forward but he was immediately shut down by Samuel who raised his hand to stop him from speaking.

" I will deal with this later, for now I have to see if she is okay." He didn't wait for him to say anything just waltzed off.

Looking at his indifferent expression, the 'culprits' felt like dying. They wanted to present themselves as best as they could but this disaster could very well be the end of them.

" Will he really forgive us? I can't imagine what will happen to us." Someone mumbled but because everyone was deathly silent, it didn't escape their ears

" Mr Henri! Please help us! You are the only one that we can depend on!" Another person tried to hold on to the only hope.

Henri was silent for a second. He had followed around Samuel for a day at this point but even his experienced eyes could discern the exact nature of his personality.

It's not like he didn't hear about the infamous heir of the Rothschild family, after all the previous owner used to hold lavish parties at this castle.

Over the years, there were numerous gossips around Samuel. Some said that he was a genius businessman that started working at a age of thirteen, while other described him as a prodigy when it came to acting.

But these weren't even what concerned Henri. There were also some outrageous claims about him as the secret weapon of the Rothschild who was responsible for thier 'dirty' business.

They painted him as a devil who would go above and beyond just to have it's way. It didn't matter if one was a noble or from a prestigious family, he would get his way trampling on them like a bug!

Henri had seen such few characteristics in their earlier meeting so he knew not every rumour was unfounded. The rumour of him being a playboy was certainly true, he couldn't dismiss everything.

What he didn't know that these few whispers often twist into something unrecognisable, such were often the case with word of mouth. Those that had ill intention would try to tarnish hos name and them being in a different continent, it was easier for anyone to talk smack about anyone in these private parties.

" I can't promise anything bit I will try my best to convince young master that it was an isolated accident. Beside, no one was severely hurt so you can expect some leniency. Still, since I will be putting my word for it, I hope such things wouldn't repeat." Henri paused and lookwd at them sternly.

As the head butler these people were like his arms and legs, if something was wrong he would be indirectly responsible.

He was already walking a thin line after Lucie revealed him about the potential leak inhis personnel. It was unacceptable to have a spy in the mix so they dealt with it harshly. Lucoe left it to him, trusting his judgement but hebknew that the order came directly from Samuel.

If he was too thick skinned about it, Henri would have to pay the ultimate price which he couldn't afford to do.

" We all know what happened to Tessa, don't be complacent because young master is not the forgiving type." He warned them again before heading inside to look for Samuel.

Meanwhile Samuel rushed upstairs looking for Elise. His life force radar was telling him that she wasn't in her room, everyone was in one of the girls room.

He didn't care and rushed inside only to see everyone hurdled together around the bed. He wasn't surprised about that but what je didn't expect that they were walkiyaround naked? What's happening?

" Elise! Is she fine? Is everyone alright?" He yelled loudly.

Everyone already noticed when the door was flung open but they didn't expect him to come inside their room so brazenly.

" Ahhhh" They screamed and tried to hide theor private parts but by now, he had already seen everything.

He didn't even acknowledged them rushing straight toward Elise and checking her for injuries. Other than her wet hair, there was nothing wrong with her.

It seemed like everyone taken a shower to clean themselves and were in the middle of dressing up.

" You are still here! Get out!" Genevieve shouted.

" Who got hurt? Do we need to go to the hospital?" He asked whole facing away from them. He could tell that someone was lying on the bed.

" Out now! We will call you when everyone is dressed."

" Alright fine! It's not like I haven't seen it before." He shrugged and asked Elise of she wanted to wait outside with him but she kept her head low and shook her head in denial.

He could tell that she was sad and wanted to be here. There could be only one reason for that but he didn't stay to ask her.

He hurriedly walked outside in fear that the girls would start throwing stuff at him because he was still in the room.

For now their hands were busy but from the screaming and shouting, they might really attack him if he kept talking with Elise.

He closed the door behind him but saw Henri coming up the stairs. Henri saw him waiting outside and decided to take the chanc.n/ô/vel/b//jn dot c//om

" What really happened? I want to know everything." Samuel was the first to strike up the conversation.

Hneri started telling him everything. He just hoped that young master would show some mercy after everything was over.
