“Not a disciple, a disciple would have fared better.” Li Qiye said.

“What?” This confused Violet Dragon.

“Luminous Master, that’s who he is.” Li Xuansu said.

“Why did he change his title?” Violet Dragon asked.

Luminous Master was from the same era as Violet Dragon - one of the greatest geniuses of their time.

He and his wife started one of the most powerful dao systems in Three Immortals. Everyone had high hopes for him, believing that he could become a supreme overlord. He would become as great as Gao Yang, leading others as protectors.

“Do you know the details of why he changed?” Violet Dragon asked.

“I pondered this as well but Luminous Master vanished from thin air. I didn’t have time to investigate this since I have my mission.” Li Xuansu said.

“I see...” Violet Dragon found the whole thing perplexing.

“Although Luminous Master was strong, he was no match for you, Senior. What prompted the conflict?” She asked.

“It was a different matter when he became Primal Yin Immortal Ghost, his power was unimaginable and few could stop him.” Li Xuanshu shook her head.

“That strong? How?” Violet Dragon was moved upon hearing this.

“I was unsure, I didn’t know of the dual identities at first.” Li Xuansu said: “I was tasked with an investigation by Desolate Ancestor and Lord of Life and Death.”

“From those two?” Violet Dragon understood the gravity of the matter.

“It’s a long story.” Li Xuansu said: “From Immortals Slaughtered War to Heavenslay Battle, they understood Zhan Sansheng could reincarnate. Killing him was no easy task and he became stronger each time. The threat was unending.”

“Now, I am sure the message came from Luminous Master.” Li Xuansu said.

“How did he know?” Violet Dragon asked.
