Chapter 257 The Spirit Realm!
It took quite some time for Draco to reach the spirit realm, and only after 20 days of teleportation was he able to find it.
The map that led to it was pointing directly in front of him yet he could see nothing, however, his sharp monstrous senses came to use once again as, with the use of worldly phenomena, he opened the golden realm of souls.
"One step forward." Draco spoke. His excitement was bubbling more than ever, and he had a wide evil smile on his face, yet he forwarded that energy into moving faster.
The second he walked into the realm, the golden light shone on him, the milky streams going around and the ghostly figures in the endless expanse of white were all there for him to see.
Had it been any other time, Draco would have been infatuated and he would already be planning to make this place his, but now that he had other plans, he just wanted to get rid of the boos of this realm to devour it.
He had more use for the phenomena than the beauty of this realm could ever do.
"Master, the boss is-"
"I know." He wasn't going to run around wasting time.
He had to finish it fast, and it definitely wasn't going to happen because the boss was an actual Greater celestial.
{Chaotic Teleportation}
It took 20 days to reach the spirit realm from the treasure realm, and it took 2 hours to reach the boss from the entrance of the realm.
When Draco stopped in front of the boss, all he could see was a silhouette of a wise empath. A staff was resting on the side of his throne and he himself was gazing at Draco with his hand on his chin.
"So you have come."
"I noticed you since you entered, but I thought it would take you long to reach and by then you will realize the stupidity of your actions and you'll go back." The boss started speaking as he got up.n/o/vel/b//in dot c//om

He took his staff and started spinning it around.
"I guess not anymore."
*CLANK* *BOOM*
In but a split second, the boss disappeared and reappeared behind Draco. His speed was so blinding that Draco couldn't even see it, and his strike was so powerful that it sent Draco flying all the way to the throne.
"I will give you one last chance."
"You either leave… or die here."
"Hahahaha! Those are some big words for a fish in the well." Draco laughed out loud as he spoke.
He took out his spear and looked at the boss.
For him, this battle wasn't significant, yet the results of his victory definitely were.
However, he would be lying if he said he didn't like it. It has been a while since he found his match and honestly, he was starting to get bored of beating weaklings left and right.
It was time to step up the game and fight those who could actually put up a fight against him.
"Show me your worst, Fish emperor."
"You're quite daring." The emperor calmly responded. He was far too old to be angered by the words of someone so young, such as Draco. However, as an emperor, he couldn't deny a challenge. He would either win or die trying.
*Clank* *Clank* *Clank*
The place Draco was fighting in was a large hall of a throne room that was as big as a continent.
As ridiculous as it sounded, it was an actual boss room and had to be at least this big.
The fight went on and on, with Draco using his spear to defend, then counter-attack the constant onslaught of the fish emperor as he called him.
The wise emperor was wearing white armor decorated with golden streaks; his eyes were shining brightly white, and his hair was also similar to his own armor, while his figure… it was that of a transparent soul.
His features were closer to those of cultivators, but he was far from being part of them.
{Spirit Trance}
The emperor called out and for a split second, he stood in his own place. But the danger Draco felt in that moment was what stopped him from taking advantage and attacking so he stood there, and watched as the white eyes of the emperor materialized in the sky and gazed at him condescendingly.
"You might be an emperor, but you have no right to gaze at me like that." Draco stated as he planned to use his own skill to match that gaze.
{Chaos Trance}
It was an immediate copy. Whatever this boss could do, he could do better.
It was a simple matter of imagining the skill and its effects, and the system analysis took care of that part.
Draco stood in his place and the emperor stood in his. It was now a battle of authority, a battle of laws and actual realm.
This would have seemed unfair to Draco since he was a high celestial while this boss surpassed him by two levels.
But not to mention chaos as an authority, the phenomena that were automatically inbued with the skill… were too much of a cheat for someone like the boss to handle.
"Y-you… You are indeed worthy of taking over this realm. But it is my mission to live and die with it and I shall not give you your victory until my head is on the floor." The boss stated with pride on the line.
"And you are indeed worthy of being an emperor." Draco showed his respect in his own way. But he didn't take back his previous statement of a 'frog in a well.'
"Let's end this, shall we?"
"It shall be my honor to die by the hands of such a mighty warrior. Your feats will be left down in history." The boss readied his staff and Draco did the same.
It would be the last impact that would decide their life and death.
