Read more Sometimes dying isn’t even the worst part of your dayMark has been reincarnated into a dead town, one that has been recently destroyed and occupied by ravenous undead. They disappear every day and return again at night, mindless and hungry, hunting for any survivors. He’ll need to use cunning and subterfuge to avoid them, because since he was transported into the body of a child, he can’t level up. At least not yet.Bog Standard. It means “totally normal”, right? But for the small towns found in these bogs, there's no quick rescue and not much trade. Everything has to be made to last. To them, it means "excellent quality". Mark will have to prove he's Bog Standard if he hopes to survive. This is an Isekai of excellent quality. It’s a progression fantasy set in a LitRPG world, rags to riches with an eventual OP main character. The pacing is slow-burn, incremental progression, sometimes slice-of-life, punctuated by moments of intense violence and possibly traumatic content.Updates are MWF at 11:00 am MST unless otherwise stated, for as long as the author can keep up this pace. This is in a greater region called the Boglands which is part of a nation. There is a system, classes such as leatherworker, warrior, farmer, bard, that kind of thing. People have stats that they can raise by leveling or training them. The exception is children, whose status is locked until they're about 14.Now the plot so far is holding out then making a living in a medieval type town. The boglands are threatened by the existence of the undead army, there are evil classes like witch, corpse eater, and so forth that plague the civilized world. The local and national governments try to root them out and destroy them. The novel is a decent paced slice of life thus far in the world. Quite descriptive, quite immersive, and people act like people normally should act, without the young masters, kowtowing, or "You dare!"I don't want to spoil the novel, really, so I won't discuss the class of the MC. He is a "child" adopted by a guardian "illusionist" who knows about his past life. The MC is a balanced, normal person. On the kinder, more patient side of the spectrum. Not willing to romance "children" his age.The book is quite impressive so far, a pity it has so few chapters. Of course, in a printed book, it would be considered a normal sized first book of a series. I'm looking forward to following it some more. He took his class SpoilerThe Scarred One, an evil class in Part 3 Chapter 16. I guess the weaver will die now. No, that was only temporary. story was ok but nothing new Stop lying, Its pretty good. I've kinda stopped reading because i was put off by the class stuff but its really good quality I hope novel gathers up more momentum, some parts seem kinda slow but alright, character development is alright as well seems pretty decent Another isekai.... Well it is raining isekai these daysIsekaiJoin the ranobe discord link in my profile Taken from Royal Road which has loads of Isekais In general, not bad. I hope that the novel will gain momentum when the МС gets his class An ordinary story with a smart mc, although the plot doesn't have a new thing or anything like that it is strangely an amazing work Rank B+
