Chapter 3303 - Accident

Chapter 3303 - Accident

"How could it be...!?" Eminent Jiguang trembled as she stood there in a daze, her red lips parting and shock filling her eyes. A wave of pink starlight that resembled blood surged from Suishen Yao’s body and rushed toward Tianming, pouring onto the ten bane-rings on his arms. Despite keeping her eyes closed, Suishen Yao appeared uncomfortable during the entire process. She furrowed her brows and clenched her fists even tighter.

On the other hand, Tianming grew in vigor, as if he had received divine assistance. After absorbing the wave of pink starlight, the decapath era swordgods burst out with a fierce light and violently shook within the soulblend formation. The power of his totems seemed to have been unleashed all at once, forcing Eminent Jiguang to expand the formation.

As soon as the formation opened, their totems quickly separated without its compression. The flaregod starsouls were visibly dimmer while Tianming's decapath era swordgods returned to his side, brightly shining and soaring in power!

"This, this...." Eminent Jiguang’s expression drastically changed. She could barely speak as she carried the weak Suishen Yao, her eyes turning red once more. Upon examining her, Eminent Jiguang said in confusion, "Wait a minute—Yaoyao's clothes are intact. Her armor is a cosmic artifact. How could this be..."

At that moment, Suishen Yao woke up and stared blankly at Eminent Jiguang, her face pale. Still in a daze, she muttered, "Auntie, why do I suddenly feel so tired? It’s like my soul’s been sucked away and my heart feels empty."

Upon seeing her condition, Eminent Jiguang was even more heartbroken. Despite being an elder, she couldn't help but shed tears, stuttering as she said, "Yaoyao, I didn't know this would happen. It’s impossible. You didn’t have any real contact, let alone meet the condition."

"What condition, auntie?" Suishen Yao asked in confusion.

"The condition to hand over the Suishen Blood. It’s impossible to succeed in one try even if you were a real couple. Most of the time, it takes several attempts. But the thing is you didn't cross the line at all, not even once. How could this happen?" Eminent Jiguang couldn’t help but blame herself.

"Auntie, what’re you saying?" In her weakness, Suishen Yao widened her eyes and stared blankly at Eminent Jiguang.

"Yaoyao...." Staring back with tears in her eyes, Eminent Jiguang suddenly slapped herself and bitterly wept. "I don't understand why. It’s obvious nothing happened, but, but... he absorbed your Suishen Blood."

Suishen Yao was struck by a bolt from the blue. Completely dumbfounded, she trembled as she looked at Eminent Jiguang, her eyes full of disbelief. Then, lowering her head, she examined herself and found that her clothes were indeed intact. She had returned from battle and was still wearing an infinitum-class armor that was unbreachable. Intercourse was impossible at the moment, yet the weakness she felt, as well as Eminent Jiguang’s words pointed out one thing: the only proof that she was still a young maiden of House Suishen was gone.

That was a very important ceremony for the women of House Suishen, something they looked forward to. Likewise, Suishen Yao had placed all her hopes on the ceremony that would be her chance to break the limits and become an eminent. But now it was gone! n/o/vel/b//in dot c//om

"How... how can this be..." Suishen Yao said, her voice hoarse.

"I don't know how, but it happened,” Eminent Jiguang replied.

"You meanie! You tricked me again! You said it was just totemic bonding with no risks! But look what happened...." Out of breath, Suishen Yao clutched at Eminent Jiguang’s neck, wishing she could take a bite.

"Yaoyao, I'm sorry! I'm really sorry!" Eminent Jiguang was even more flummoxed than her because she was the one responsible for everything, including the fate of Suishen Yao and Tianming.

No one in Myriadpath Valley would believe me even if I say that the two children did nothing.... As soon as the thought crossed her mind, she roused from self-blame and incredulity, drenched in cold sweat. At that point, blaming herself was useless; she could only remedy the situation.

"Little Master, Eminent..." Tianming’s voice sounded from behind them.

Eminent Jiguang turned around and saw him floating above the Jiguang Sea, filled with a vitality that only came with being watered by the sweetest nectar. However, like the two women, he appeared confused, awkward, and puzzled.

"Did you just say that I have Little Master’s...?" Tianming said, at a loss.

Eminent Jiguang nodded. "It was an accident. This is my fault. I...." She wanted to say that she was responsible, but for the women of House Suishen, there would be no chance to regret or change once it happened. What could she do?

"But we didn't do anything," Tianming said.

"Yes, so it’s my fault. But there was no record of anything like this in the ancient books!" Eminent Jiguang was close to tears. The ancestors were the ones who had misled her, which had in turn led to her misleading Suishen Yao.

Upon hearing that, Tianming understood. She probably did nothing wrong. It’s possible that the decapath era swordgods were too domineering and forcibly took away Little Master’s Suishen Blood while skipping the intimate process.

He knew that that was most likely the truth.

Eminent Jiguang wasn’t familiar with his totems, so she couldn’t have foreseen the situation. After all, he himself had never expected it, either.

"Tianming, your totems improved, right?" asked Eminent Jiguang.

"They’ve reached fivefold simulacrum." Tianming nodded.

It was clear that the Suishen Blood had taken effect and would still have long-term effects.

"Then the results of your totemic bonding is about the same as a real couple...." Sensing the inner storm in Suishen Yao, Eminent Jiguang tightened her grip on her hand.

Amidst the confusion and shock, Tianming took a deep breath. As a man, he had to take responsibility. "Eminent, will everyone be able to tell what happened when Little Master gets married tomorrow?" Tianming asked.

"Obviously, her aura is completely different," Eminent Jiguang replied.

Although Eminent Jiguang was older than Suishen Yao, Tianming could see a certain maturity in Suishen Yao that wasn’t present in the older woman. "And no one will believe you even if you tell them that it isn’t what they think?" he asked.

"No one will believe it. What Suishen Yue wanted was an opportunity to break through. But now that’s gone. In fact...." Eminent Jiguang appeared bitter.

"What, auntie?"
